    I agree with your issues with this car but most of its Rivals don’t have the same safety rating, I’d rather be in a safer car

  • @dexterroy
    @dexterroy 2 года назад +13

    Its a sub-4 meters car. So, you can either have decent leg space, or decent boot space. You cant have both. I guess they figured you will have someone seating in the rear seat more often than carrying a full load in the boot. Cramped rear seating can cause constant irritation. But you may not be driving with a full boot always. Hence the tradeoff. If you still want a little more space to carry your stuff, the rear seats can be folded.
    As you said, its one of the safest cars in the segment. Something that you should have covered is, Mahindra has been silently removing some of its features over the time. I don't know how it is in the models available in South Africa, but at one point of time the top model used to come with 7 air bags. Now its down to 6. But then again, even the base model with two air bags come with 5 star global NCAP and one of the best child safety ratings.

    I drive the 2020 w8 diesel model and i gave the car a chance after your review on that one. I don't regret it. I love it. But the boot closing issue is real. I dont have the start stop issue so much (so many times) but it has happened... And yes the boot is small but im one person so i manage and the seats go down if i need to pack big things... but sometimes i do wish for an extra few cm... Would love the upgraded screen and entertainment but ill wait until the future better version comes before i upgrade... And i too want to know how to turn of the jingles you are greeted with! oh last thing... My bluetooth phonebook (list) takes a few minutes to download... (our complex gate opens by calling and id like the number to be ready to call quicker) But this little thing stole my heart and I generally enjoy driving it... especially long distance... I'm holding thumbs that they will sort out the little quirks in the future. Rooting for them. 🤞👍🏻
