A lot of entrepreneurs forget this simple biblical term “To Whom Much Is Given!”….
Hats off to him for humbly sharing!!! Much success to you and your business and I predict your companies 3x growth in less than 5 years!
When people are genuine and look out for others without asking in return God will definitely sustain and multiply your endeavors!🙏🏾💯

Russell Shepard is a legend in my book! I went to one of those Cy schools he mentioned at the beginning of the interview and graduated a year before him in 08. He was a bonafide superstar on the field in HS, and his character was always stand up. To see his journey through college, the NFL, and now as an entrepreneur is inspiring. Much respect to this brother and wish him all the success in the world.

This deserves a Nobel prize for enlightenment. I was amazed when the interviewer asked "why are you so transparent?", because I have always wondered if we are so behind the 8ball why are we tryna keep everything a secret from each other. Shep made the point that other cultures stand and work with each other to build. We have college educated people that are only about themselves. Where is the success in that?

  • @letsinvest1476

RS is a superman both in work ethics, business and character. Imagine to leave the NFL and go to cleaning toilets is the definition of humility and hard work. He could have been worried about his fellow players talking about him but he focused on a business with a stigma and high barrier to entry. Kudos, you deserve ALL the success brother.

No knock on single parent homes, but having a mom and dad in the home definitely makes a difference! This also includes single parent homes who have a strong male role model in their children’s lives. In the first 5 minutes he references his parents several times. Let’s keep that relative light shining within all of our children! 🙏🏾

And to think someone said "Just shut up a dribble". Very wise for his age and shows athletes are just as smart as the next person. Imagine if most of black athletes had this mindset, it could solve a lot of the issues we face in terms of good paying jobs.
Many gems, about needing a team and how the immigrant families can sometimes seem like they are living in crowded quarters but in actual fact they are saving for a better tomorrow. Even if you don't go into business there are so many valuable lessons to be applied in all facets of like.
