  • Mary Shelley (née Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin; 30 August 1797 -- 1 February 1851) was an English novelist, short story writer, dramatist, essayist, biographer, and travel writer, best known for her Gothic novel Frankenstein: or, The Modern Prometheus (1818). She also edited and promoted the works of her husband, the Romantic poet and philosopher Percy Bysshe Shelley. Her father was the political philosopher William Godwin, and her mother was the philosopher and feminist Mary Wollstonecraft.
Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus is a novel written by Mary Shelley about a creature produced by an unorthodox scientific experiment. Shelley started writing the story when she was eighteen, and the novel was published when she was twenty-one. The first edition was published anonymously in London in 1818. Shelley's name appears on the second edition, published in France in 1823.
Shelley had travelled the region in which the story takes place, and the topics of galvanism and other similar occult ideas were themes of conversation among her companions, particularly her future husband, Percy. The storyline emerged from a dream. Mary, Percy, Lord Byron, and John Polidori decided to have a competition to see who could write the best horror story. After thinking for weeks about what her possible storyline could be, Shelley dreamt about a scientist who created life and was horrified by what he had made. She then wrote Frankenstein.
Frankenstein is infused with some elements of the Gothic novel and the Romantic movement and is also considered to be one of the earliest examples of science fiction. Brian Aldiss has argued that it should be considered the first true science fiction story, because unlike in previous stories with fantastical elements resembling those of later science fiction, the central character "makes a deliberate decision" and "turns to modern experiments in the laboratory" to achieve fantastic results. The story is partially based on Giovanni Aldini's electrical experiments on dead and (sometimes) living animals and was also a warning against the expansion of modern humans in the Industrial Revolution, alluded to in its subtitle, The Modern Prometheus. It has had a considerable influence across literature and popular culture and spawned a complete genre of horror stories and films.
Since publication of the novel, the name "Frankenstein" is often used to refer to the monster itself, as is done in the stage adaptation by Peggy Webling. This usage is sometimes considered erroneous, but usage commentators regard the monster sense of "Frankenstein" as well-established and not an error. In the novel, the monster is identified via words such as "creature," "monster", "fiend", "wretch", "vile insect", "daemon", and "it". Speaking to Dr. Frankenstein, the monster refers to himself as "the Adam of your labors", and elsewhere as someone who "would have" been "your Adam", but is instead your "fallen angel."

Much like different karate styles develop from karate. Great art also develop from great art. Mary Shelly Frankenstein reads like the biblical Book of Job. As Yoda would say "like branches of a tree, life develops.

What's a man without the appreciation of a woman? Very few men respect a woman's opinion enough to consider it. If they would, they would become more of a man and win her love. A man is a beast without a woman.

What a great movie even though many directors in the past and now have tried to make the story be realistic as possible but nothing be as real as Mary Shelly's Frankenstein. But in real life there's a world most people don't know about a trend being going for decades since the time of Commies and Nazis murdering innocent people for their body parts and internal organs selecting them by their blood type if they a good blood type being rare or good they would be killed for whoever in need for these healthy organs and body parts like limbs of legs or arms even eye etc.
You think people like Frankenstein is not real being a fictional story, think again. There are people been recorded by medical reports to being ill need of a organ and yet they get it in wrong way illegally done. These people should of died for their medical reasons but walking alive with internal organs stolen from others murdered for their internal parts these innocent people are been set up, arranged killed for their insurance and organs with the help of the government including their doctors, community, family members knew them before their death, people knew him set them up for their death sacrificing them for their organs and body parts.
You never know this movie may be fictional but could be a real story an attempt by a doctor to recreate a man bringing them back to life using body parts of the dead to recreate life wanting to know what makes humans alive and walking energy from electricity and can it be done by human tampering.
There is a dark side to this today people steal body parts are internal organs from healthy individuals giving life for those sick in need of that organ to survive which is common today as a crime in the underworld of black market.
People are murdered for their insurance and their organs to be sold on the black market for clients in the underworld this is common in the world harvesting human organs. Usually the people are murdered for their organs to give life for others illegally by their blood type being rare or good not to have any diseases.
Their murders are covered up by the government and community so the persons death was coincidental setting them up for accidents with people they knew arrange the murder of them.
Why do you think some people go missing the police nor the community care to know what happened to them. This type of trend is the reason.
