I love the amount of detail on this figure its very simplistic while all at the same time having a complex look one of my favorite designs when i get the money i definitely want to pick this guy up
That is almost a perfect figure! I agree he definitely should’ve come with way more than he does, and a wired cape (for me) is a bit of a essential when it comes to Batman figures. As is though if you just want a perfect looking Batman to just stand there and look imposing on the shelf, this is it for sure, wow.
I wanted the EX with the Bruce Wayne Head but these don't show up for sale much anymore so I took what I could get . I grapple gun would have been nice.
Love this figure! I bought the Noir version and dyed the cape and briefs black, along with the boots, gloves and cowl. Painted the mouth of course and now have a custom black & grey classic Bats!
I have this figure too and in hand it is perfect. The stitching on the outfit, the poseabilty, all the small details of the fabric used, cape how it drapes. It’s a great figure to pick up! A person in my area just sold one for $175 on offerup. I wish I would of bought it just to have another one with the other headsculpt next to it.
I paid $300 plus for mine few weeks ago. I wanted a Batman for my collection and wasn't too interested in the movie figures so this one fit the bill. I grew up with the mego figures and the old Hanna Barbara and Filmation cartoons so this one was a no brainer for me.
One of my favorite Batman's out of this line, along with the Adam West version for it would be nice to bring back as a Reissue. As always great video commentary.
I got the noir version and can’t wait for it to arrive , in my opinion the silver age sideshow figure have it all its classic Batman simple and the cape it’s Perfect!!
WOW!!! This takes me back to the Batman of my childhood. Grey suit, yellow belt and blue cape...but well beyond the 66 Batman of my parents era. SUPER UNFORTUNATE I'm just now finding out about him. Man I love this
Justin, you did it again: I was letting go of this Batman, and now I totally want it 😅 it’s a awesome amalgamation of Neal Adams/70’s/comics in general. Cheers!
It’s a great figure, my only complaint is that the leg (EDIT: *hip* ) joints are a little on the loose side but it still manages to pose really well though thanks to solid ankle joints. I love the comic book style and the utility belt!
@@JustinsCollection Sorry I specifically meant the hip joints (the knees are more solid imo) and that these have less resistance from my experience as opposed to say the Hot Toys MMS figures or NECA toys, the latter which on the other hand are very solid and stiff figures in general. It’s all matter of personal experience, perspective and preference I guess.
😄I was waiting for the seams/panel lines comments! And man Bats can do anything! *Tap-shoes*!!! I like the slender (!) thing as it's more pre-nineties behemoth and in line with the silver age and Neill Adams age Batman (as per the box art). I'm calling it tap-shoes Batman!
You can use him in almost all of the comic style settings of Batman. This would go perfect in an Arkham Asylum: A serious house on serious earth type setting in my opinion.
Psst! It's not a Silver Age Batman without the yellow oval on his chest, this is closer to David Mazzucchelli's version from Batman Year One (Batman #404 1987) This is a lovely figure but I could live without the Jim Lee-esque visible seams on the suit. It's such an amazing figure when accompanied by Superman, nice purchase. Best wishes
I like this understated design and the suit material allows for much more articulation compared to the rubber suit Arkham versions. It’s one of the favorites in my collection.
@@JustinsCollection the grey suit is very similar to his MGS2 suit, if you added his various holsters and bags it would fit great. It even has similar piping to the newest CG render: images.app.goo.gl/qa8SEPsH7RcoFPGK6
Good review, but if you complain about comic accuracy with the panel lines, then it doesn’t make sense that you want him to have juman eyes because wouldn’t he then be inaccurate to the comics? Not bashing just curious why.
Personally if you gonna go for the comic look I don’t think the head should be so detailed he looks to real! Should have went with the full smooth comic design as much as they could and then this would be a buy from me👍🏻
Still not fan of comic book looking figures, but this one doesn't look bad, I really like those lines in the costume, not fan of the head sculpt and I think is too slim for a batman but this one is the better SS has made... and after saying not comic book looking figures my only exception will be the new Batman Hush, that I will get (I hope the finish product looks like the prototype.)
Hey Justin, will you be picking up the noir style sideshow batman? He's the same from what I see, but "black and white", personally that's one I've been thinking about pre-ordering from sideshow, and if I do I'll DEFINITELY be switching the body
Also this isn't silver age because the Bat logo. If it is the Silver age with a Bat logo he should have the black highlights on the cowl. We need the yellow oval
I love the amount of detail on this figure its very simplistic while all at the same time having a complex look one of my favorite designs when i get the money i definitely want to pick this guy up
Agreed!
This is it! One of my favorite batman versions/era😍 really nostalgic when i see this figures!
Nice!
The figure looks very detailed and I like the look it gives the silver age look
It does!
I love these classic comic book characters, in action figure form..
Me too!
Really cool that the stock cape gets the job done! I actually like the panel lines, but having different opinions is part of what makes the hobby fun!
Yes it does!

@Aden RODRIGUEZ exactly man, wouldn’t mind an alternate head too, especially with how expensive these are.
It’s great!

Nice!
I watch your stuff so much that my wife and I will “sing along” so to speak when you say “let’s take a closer look... at the details”
Haha that’s awesome!
I've always loved blue and grey for batman, i hope we get a live action suit similar to this in the new DCU
Agreed!

Ah damn!
What I like about this figure is his cape it's really awesome, along with the head sculp
It is!
1:44 haha, Batman slapping Robin... that could be a good Meme
LOL
Long before time, He had a vision.
A vision to create a meme that would inevitably return The Silver Age to the public eye.
This guy looks great! Nailed the cape. I do wish the blue on his cape and cowl were a bit brighter, though.
They did! Yes me too!
Long have I waited...
It was foretold you'd be here
Haha nice
Flash having regular eyes is consistent with the comics as Wally west was the one with white eyes not Barry
Ok
Your one of the best reviewer's on youtube bro, I love watching your videos. Keep them coming bro can't get enough.
Thank you Ricky!
Such a perfect batsuit
It’s badass!
The head and the cape are amazing.
Nice
I’m actually gonna try to get one this wknd...was able to track 1 down, it’s a display piece from a store I called...🤞🏼

Batman should be the King of accessories, kinda disappointed he didn't come with more

Yep haha
This line is pretty neat, have them all and want to pick up the NOIR of both Batman and Joker.
Agreed! I’m tempted too!
Should I get noir I have none of these
You can make the pose as like the court of owls cover where Bruce is rising above the fire with those open hands facing up.
True!
Love this Batman figure. It looks amazing.
He is!
Wow!!! This figure is so awesome
He is!
Th Batman figure is cool ur right he needs more accessories. But the box is amazing
Yeah he does
His neck looks swollen, but beyond that I _love_ him! 🩶💙🖤
One of their best imo
My favorite Batman figure design, just wish the horns were longer.
Fair enough!
Love this figure. I only have the noir version though.
He is great!
This is what I'm waiting new batman lol he's my fave hero lol

Very helpful review. If you're a true bat fan, this is a must have very nostalgic and wonderful figure
100% must get!
thanks Justin!
No problem!
Hi justin. I bought the figure. Did a head swap. I bought an Adam west / Batman head sculpt. The Hot Toys, 1966 head sculpt.
Nice!
Those last two poses.....yikes 🤩🤩 great figure and review
In a good way?
@@JustinsCollection 😂 yes in a good way. Those were some very cool poses.
one of my top figs to get next now

The cartoon one just never look bad.

I have this figure it looks a lot better when it’s in your hands! And so good on display! 👍
Thank you sir!
Considering that it's a comic book batman it looks so good
It does!
I changed the body to this great figure for the phicen m34 and it looks even cooler.
excellent video justin
Awesome idea!
It’s cool looking but odd they branded it “Silver Age” cuz not really. Even the box art isn’t Silver Age…
Yeah not sure
How does batman NOT come with alot of accessories hes goddamn batman!
I know right
nostalgia when you see that blue and gray0
100%
This figure would be a great base for a custom Solid Snake
It would?

The figure is near perfect. Everything about it is absolutely fantastic other than the body sculpt. Would've liked him to be a little beefier.
Fair enough!
you’re missing out on the Bruce Wayne head sculpt that came with the deluxe
Yeah its hard to find here unfortunately
You need more subscribers because this is just Awesomeness
Thanks man!
How much ever we appreciate sideshow They always manage to out-do themselves
With every release they get better and better!
They do a great job sometimes!
Hey Justin I’m planning on body swapping my flash as well. What body do you plan on using?
Hmmm maybe M33?
Is there a version similar in Quality that comes in black? And I'm not talking about the one with the funky head and old man mouth plates...
No unfortunately
Also I love this action figure
Thanks!

Just the way my weird mind works I guess. Superman has the realistic face and no panel lines so I just want this guy to match
Amazing! Unfortunately it is next to impossible for mere mortals to find this
Damn!
I really love how they have this toy and everything is so simple. I am going to subscribe to your channel Justin's Collection.
Thank you Jehu!

I have customized mine with an Adam West head sculpt

Yes!
I have this figure and it’s amazing. Been considering selling it though to clean up the collection a bit
It is awesome!
I wish the bat symbol had a yellow oval.
Ok!
"I am vengance, i am the night, i am batman" - Batman
Love it
Pretty impressed with these Sideshow DC comics figures..

i like batman and his car
