Great video. You provided a lot of info, like the tire PSI, which was not indicated on our tires. I liked the tests that you ran it through and gave an honest opinion.
I took it on an 8 mile errand recently and went thru quite a bit of rough construction areas. I had to tighten the seat post as it kept sliding down ;) It can go faster than single speed peddling can keep up, including up hills, so peddling to save battery on hills wasn’t that useful unless going slow. Still like it.
You’re the only review of this bike, I can’t find any information on this bike like where to get extra batteries, if you can add a second battery or anything like that
Sadly, Amazon kept rejecting this video. At first I thought it was because I gave the price I paid, which is against their rules apparently. To me, that's VERY important -- if I pay $900 for it, my opinion would be far worse than paying $450. So I just posted the full video on RUclips.
I have the EBE1. I really like it. It also has 16 wheels but I wish it goes further than 25km on throttle because it’s hard to pedal when the battery dies
Thanks for providing details many don't! In particular your height! Curious how bent your legs are at 'full extension'. Disappointed there is no pedal assist, but it is what it is.
It got too cold for me to ride shortly after I got this bike, but I expect to take it out soon and see what else I can find. It felt okay at my height, but I need to run it with the motor off and see how it feels to actual pedal it for an extended time.
What's the weight of this bike? 20 kg or more? Please let me know if you have time, how the battery holding up/ charging holding power so far? Thank you
In the description of the bike on Amazon, it says three modes-normal pedal, pedal assist, and all electric. But you say it has no pedal assist. Does this mean if I engage the motor the bike will automatically go 15 mph?
Whats the app for the spedometer? Mine always stayed at 15 or 16mph with pedaling as hard as I can, even down slopes. Never reached near 20 let alone 25mph
am I reading this correctly that this bike is 31.75kg? wow that is heavy for this bike. I have a 40lb (14" tire), 70lb (20" tire), tried the jetson haze 16" tire only 42lbs, how is this bike almost 70lbs?
I'm betting it's a steel frame or something, rather than some lighter material. My Aventon is also very heavy, but perhaps that's just going to be the case for cheaper bikes and scooters?
I do not recall, but I will say that my test route is rather abusing with a few steep hills I take these things up to test them. The battery indicators always drop considerably up those hills then level out. Once I warms up, I plan to do a range check like I do with my scooters. I'll put together an update. Spring is almost here (still sub freezing this morning, but getting warmer all the time).
Winter came and the bike has been in storage since. We had one warm weekend, then it go back to freezing, but it is now warming up (finally?). I plan to take the bike to work with me (it doesn't have the range to get to work, I don't think) and do some more test rides during lunch and such, maybe as early as next week.
I have a Gotrax Apex scooter that, so far, has not given me any issues. I only got to ride the bike for about two weeks before a blizzard hit so it's stashed away until all the snow melts. I will update if I have any issues.

I have not looked in to extra batteries yet but seeing the modular design I would expect they must offer them?
Did you try gotrax website? I bought a charger from there when I lost one it came pretty quick I think they're in Texas
This was a great review video I was wondering how it folded up and also some other things you went over in the video it was great you showed them all

Please explain “16 wheels”?
Oh! Size, not number of wheels. Duh.

I saw your review on Amazon too
Do you know how to unlock the speed on the gotrax nephele?
Great review
My concern: battery life?
And batteries seem out of stock with manufacturer
I also have concerns
I haven't had it long enough to have any battery issues -- but it is starting to warm up and I'll be getting it out to ride again.
You are the only one that I’ve come across on RUclips that is doing a review on this bike. How is it after you purchased it back in December

It has been in storage since winter -- but soon should be warm enough for me to start riding it again.
I'll know when I get it out of storage in the next few weeks. Hopefully the battery is still fine! And it's HEAVY.

Any updates on if you have used it recently
Wondering about the throttle. Can I control it? Slow I hope?
Yes, it is a normal throttle - slow to fast.
Like the Ron Paul sticker bruh

I was recording with an Insta360 camera, using the phone app to embed GPS data in to the video.

How many miles did you ride to where the battery indicator dropped a level?

Hello. How is the bike now? Any problems with it?
I have not had it out since last year. It is now starting to warm up, so I will be getting the bike out of storage and do more testing with it.
Any update on the performance

Has it broken yet? My gotrax scooters break lever broke on my first ride and sent me in front of a f150
