I bought one of these a few weeks ago and it has turned out to be the most used outdoor tool I own. The best feature is that it is light and easy to move around versus my Whisper series 650 cfm monster. I am really glad i bought this.
Yup! Same for me too!
@DelgadoDetailing Yes, it's deceptively powerful for it's size. I used it to blow off the patio furniture this afternoon.
you should try the 730CFM monster
@@Fatedfilms👍 I will when or if my 650 cfm dies.
@Fatedfilms lol trust me I will sometime in the future! I just don't have any 40v batteries yet
I bought this bad boy not long after it came out and it’s awesome !! I use it now more than my M12 compact blower. The M12 blower needs a major update to Fuel or brushless cause Ryobi just reset the bar on compact blowers!
Wow! That that little blower packs a serious punch! Was really impressed with the pool water demo, run time and as always, the humor! Thanks Clint!
Haha, thanks Nathalle!!!
Your videos are fantastic. I like how you put just a little bit of clown in them to be fun.
Unlike other review channels who get the ratio wrong. 👍
Love, love, love this blower. I have 5 and this is the most unique. Love the small size, power and battery life. I detail cars and I can dry an entire car on a single 4 Ah battery. They even give you a rubber tip which is perfect for drying cars.
3:07 Just the tip... Wow, that is pretty impressive.
Clint discovered a new test parameter, the pond blow test!
Haha
This would be great in the wood shop. I'm always grabbing my big one to blow saw dust away from projects and the the table saw / miter saw etc.. after cuts. This would a lot easier to use. Ordering mine now.
Saw that… opened a Ryobi box with a Milwaukee Fastback. That’s gotta be a RUclips violation fo sho! Keep’em coming.
I bought one 4-5 months ago for my workshop and porch areas. It’s lightweight and can get into tighter spaces that’s a pain with my big leaf blower.
Just picked this up today. LOVE THIS TOOL!!!!
That sound reminds me of the effect Eddie Van Halen got using a cordless drill in the intro for “Pound Cake”.
I didnt know he did that. I was aware of the Lamborghini/ toilet bowl on Panama
@@Redspeciality Oh yeah he used it in the video, and in the studio recording, and I think in the live shows. It’s an old Makita because it was 1990-something. I thought at first he was using it on the strings but I think now the guitar/amp just picked up the RF waves from the drill motor. The story goes that there was a worker nearby using a drill and it got picked up, and Eddie liked the effect.
I’ll have to go back and listen for the toilet bowl on Panama, didn’t know about that 😀
That is sweet. You can take it and use it anywhere. Efficiency; smaller package, smaller carbon footprint, plenty of power. Now all I need is one of those free tool deals and I'm set. Until tomorrow, when you go waving another new tool in my face that I gotta have. How much was that by the way?
Right on brother
I also bought this blower mainly for the form factor. Very impressive for its size and I don't always have to break out the Ryobi big boy 40v 730 cfm blower. I mainly use it to dry my car which takes a little longer than the 40v but but worth it b/c it's much easier on the hands.
Looks like the best blower design for drying a vehicle.
It's what I use every day in my detail business. Works best if your car is ceramic coated, but it shines the most on wheels and the cracks that hold a ton of water
👌🏼 good idea
You facin' down that 9 minutes and 58 seconds like a man deserves a second comment! You are performing a service for the rest of us sir! :^D
Haha, thanks for the second comment and SMEEESH James!!! 🤣🤣👊
Bought one of these when researching using leaf blowers for drying cars after a wash. Didn't buy it so much for drying the cars, however, I bought it specifically for drying my motorcycle.
Anyone who owns a bike will know the pain of trying to get the water off every little nook and cranny that exists. It may still not be the most perfect solution, but it cuts your drying time by a lot and you don't have to keep wringing out towels and getting them stuck on parts of the bike.
Oh no, now I will have add another Ryobi (not Reeobie) product to my collection😉
! Can You dry off the Family dog with it or Is it too loud and Irritates the dog?
You can but be careful where you point it (insert joke about the planet Uranus here)
"Just the tip" that's what she said "
Does it have capabilities for the trigger to be locked on, to save my 👆🏻 pull⁉️
A Ryobi hair dryer with a long nozzle 👍🏻
Clint, please do the Ryobi caulk gun.
Ditto
I have the old blue one. It still works with the new bat trees.
I don't use it much, but it is one of my favorite Rye oh bee tools to use!
They don't make one for big tubes, just the small tubes.
Ok
This is nice. Would be handy instead of dragging out a bigger tool. Great vid brother.
It's awesome brother
I have been debating for a while and walk past it each time at HD but picking up next time... this channel makes me spend too much money.
That's real nass like for producing 220 CFM.
Smeesh that like button. 👀👉🏼 👍🏽
So real nass like brother, and thanks for the SMEEESH Jason!!!!
4:29 you do very well
I'll use it to clean out the dryer and vent hose.
I have a desktop PC that I take outside to blow the dust out of every 6 months or so. I typically use those cans of compressed air that get really cold if you turn them upside down but they kinda suck I think this would be much better. Stronger airflow and would last more than long enough.
For actual leaf blowing I have a corded Ryobi that's probably 20 years old.
So at $99 for the bare tool it's maybe a little much for my needs but maybe it'll go on sale during Ryobi Days or find i's way to Direct Tools.
You’re not supposed to turn canned air upside down! The moisture from inside the can will get into your computer equipment and cause issues down the road.
I noticed the twitch'adge and unco'adge a few videos ago.
But didn't want to mention it. 😁
This looks like an interesting tool I could bring every where
That would shine for cleaning air conditioner coils where there is no hose spigot with in site.
I've been thinking about getting one of these for a dog dyer. Anyone try it?
That attachment will actually reduce the cfm and increase wind speed.
I think alot of detailers are going to pick this up
This looks great to use for my BBQing! Get them coals flaming ultra fast!
I didn't expect to laugh so much. Great video. I need this blower even though I have the older small blower
that was real nice like clint, thanks
I thought this was an informative DIY family channel....how many times can you say "Just the tip" in one episode. LOL
Nice hair dryer, handy for cleaning your house
3:02 jut the tip always works
Every time he says: "just the tip" take a drink! This will replace the 18v blower in my garage used for drying my cars and clearing out stuff in the garage...
Evil twin might be poisoning you.
Been wondering why he kept bringing me mountain dew fountain drinks 🤔
should come with some type of cone nozzle to focus the blast on stuff like keyboards or the insides of tvs or maybe network routers
Yo Clint! Was hoping you'd do the "puffed cheeks" blower tactic. 😂 I know those pearly whites would've taken flight, though. But hey, that's entertainment! 😎🎸🤘
Last time I did that, a bug flew in front and went super sonic down my wind pipes 😪
@@ToolReviewZone 🤢🤮
It just BLOWS me AWAY!!!!!!
Got this to dry my car and it does a pretty good job.
I have been waiting for that tool!! It’s brushless compact blower! I have it already
But will it shoot a potato?
We shall see soon 🤣👊
Somebody convince TTI to give us Ridgid and M18 FUEL versions pretty please
I can't believe I watch videos waiting for a battray to fully discharge. I gotta get a life.
Try being the guy who makes them 😂
I always wanted a tool that's a grower not a shower. 🤣
I'll think about it when it comes in black and silver!
I like that black and silver 👊
I think its awesome that ryobi is doing there outdoor/home stuff but 1 they need to make more tools for automotive and 2 they need to lower there prices because they starting to get up there with Dewalt and Milwaukee prices if not more expensive the Dewalt and Milwaukee
Thanks for another great video Clint! Here's one for the algorithm! :^)
Thanks James!!!!
That’s very nice like. I hope when I go to my HD tomorrow, they have’’m in stock.
I don't see a link to purchase.
Air horn attachment?
Just the tip.
Just. The tip
👀🤣😂
how does this compare to the Rye-obi inflator. I've been eyeing that to replace my canned air applications.
Love mine. It kick air like crazy.
bro you were having too much fun with this one 😆
That's my favorite tool.
For some reason I didnt hit the like button till your hat blew off!!!!🤣🤣
I wanna get two of those, and redo the skateboard short
You need to look at getting the Pool Tree System to cover your pool.
I may just do that 👊
@@ToolReviewZone I've had it for several years and it makes pool opening way easier and cleaner.
Should have mentioned blowing snowage off yer vehicle !!
i want a ryobi 4 volt duster for my electronics
That blower's no good! The 20 ton of water stayed in the pond!?!?! 😂🤣
Hahaha
Any chance you can review this tool blowing the water off your vehicle after a wash?
I can do a short video on it 👊
The original small three speed shop vac does 160 miles per hour. So stick that in your pipe 🤣and 🤪smoke it 😂. I still love your humor and your posts
Next time put tennis balls in the end and see how far it blows them.
You should have put the nozzle a foot or so under the water
Prob good for getting water out of seems and grill on car after a wash.
"just the tip" we get it
I honestly don’t see the advantage of this over the smaller “leaf blowers” that everyone seems to offer, other than a different hand position? Those also have ability to shorten or change nozzle for different needs and are small and lightweight. And don’t get me wrong, I am in the Ryobi line just for the unique stuff that they offer. Otherwise I’m mostly into dewalt and Milwaukee mostly.
Way lighter and easier to handle in awkward positions. Just like dome mentioned for drying cars and other things like that
That tool blows 😮
Just a tip that's what she said😂
Not a hairdryer
Could be 😂
I am confused as to why you insist in every video your pronunciation of Ryobi which is different from the company itself? Is it to match the nice/'nass' like pronunciation?
I thought it was a heat gun
Do they sell it in red. If not then no thanks. Ive owned several lime green tools and all the battery's stopped working. I switched to red and dont have this issue anymore. I think that conpany would sell more if theyd lose that awful green cheap tool color that ruins batteries.
That thing blows....
I think you got the pronunciations mixed up for ryobi. I haven’t done the hard research myself for the actually pronunciation, but the company originally came from Japan. If Japan pronounced Ryu from street fighter as REE-YOU, then I would believe they would pronounce Ryobi as REE-YOH-BEE.
I've always said Ryobi, not Ryobi... some people are just silly 🤪
Not what it looks like… I’m going with hair dryer. Ok, playing video now.
yeah put the blower right next to the mic for the entire time of the video...
Ohhh, you mean so you can get a real world idea of what it actually sounds like. Man... stop crying
Praise ❓
Dumb video but I gave you a like because I like you
Did I just see you and ryobi blowing mike?
Thanks for the heads up. Will wait for Milwalkee to make one.
Just the tip....seriously just lookin' for excuses aren't you?
😏😏👊
Parkinson? Yea, just can't shake it...
That's a Japanese word. It really is Ryobi (reeobi) not Raiobi.
Works great when I need to blow my pool water or t-shirt 🙄
ITS GREAT FOR BLOWING SCUMMY WATER AROUND!
Did your entire channel become a giant, sleazy commercial? Your hands are getting softer with each video
