I didn't even know this existed. Thank you for showing it to us. This is literally the same as the handheld that Graco has, at like $1200, but it only works on the Dewalt batteries. This changes that. You're not paying for the "Drill" to run it, and restricted to the Dewalt system. This way, even someone with ANY battery drills can get the same Graco quality! Awesome.
im just wandering if i'll be able to rig it to my cord drill?? if there's a way, ima find it lol
i realy should finally get a cordless drill. im still stuck in the late 90's, when battery opperated hand tools just came out and the batteries sucked. i haven't owned one since. just knew the power is always there with corded tools. i might be blown away now with battery hand tools. that would be nice not messing with 50 or 100 foot cords so often lol.. i got umm... gosh, i think 2 50s. 2 100s and i can't can't how many rigged up cords stationary though out my property. i didn't realize just how relectrified i made my out doors here until now lol... i got a plug in point satup f'ing every where LOL
oh and it was the high cost of battery stuff that i never looked back at either. but its all much better and cheaper now days. hm... i need to catch up to time abit. nods :)
Great video. Loved your humor. I did not know that something like this existed.
This is a GREAT recommended. nice for quick and dirties, ESPECIALLY with little touchups!
Wow! Looks like a potential great product! I have a 100 gallon compressor and pro paint sprayers but this for the smaller stuff is genius! (Real nice like! 😂) Thanks again for the demo!
Wow🎉 what a cool tool what a new invention for DIY 😃so if you have to just touch up around the house or touch up on the outside of the house here and there you know like the corners get scuffed up of your house or picnic table like you doing chairs old benches could even redo your flower a raised beds we see so many applications for this particular tool we are very fascinating in the new inventions that are happening so thank you for showing us the new invention we really appreciate your channel
Hey man thanks for this. I'ma go out and get one! What an excellent idea! As for over spray, a small grocery vegetable bag as a cover could work or wiping the drill with WD40, Armour All or Vaseline will keep over spray from sticking!
What a great idea, let's paint the sink! Excellent vid, thanks
Hi, I'm in the UK and just have to get one of these to paint my garden fence it looks Brilliant. Thanks for the video.
Pretty cool tool! I am going to put it on my list of items I need for the garage to tackle projects. Upside down?!?! You have got to be kidding me. That is awesome!
I think it may be great. I stain a lot of decks. For huge decks I use my airless. This would be great for the pickets which are a pain to do on condos with small decks close together. The Graco electric portable is nice but have to deal with cords. This may be worth giving a shot. Graco makes great products so should do a quality job. This yinzers likes it. 💪
That desalt ain’t seen a lick of work before this vid.
Cool attachment, pretty awesome actually.
Great video, thanks. By coincidence I just turned my Wagner paint sprayer into a cordless drill.
Amazing!
😂😂😂
I am a painter and Itested that drill sprayer and I would use for small tasks. I used on cabinet doors
That is pre pretty cool for spraying small projects definitely going to look into purchasing it thanks
Very interesting, thanks again!
Great knowledge at 8:45pm.
I enjoyed your video and thanks ❤ for your knowledge.
And thank you for this comment Manny 👊
Awesome video. . .this one deserves 3 comments. Thanks.
Haha, thanks James
As a completely painting-useless homeowner, this is awesome. My wife loves painting, I hate it because of the tedious before and after (prep and cleanup), so for small things, I've always used spray cans. This is well worth the price seeing as how reasonably-priced spray paint is now a thing old grandpaws talk about from "back in my day", and young people believe never existed. We've actually dropped auto paint at the auto parts store where I work because of the ridicule-inducing prices.
Ya' know...peoplegreed screws up everything.
You're pretty good at this youtube thing. Cheers.
I Ignored this when I saw it on April Fools Day. Now I'm all in. It's real niceee like.
I had no idea this was made for a drill it's very useful
The fact that you don’t have to thin the paint is a game changer
Great idea! But just looking for it, but to save some $, get their single speed corded version--wonder if it works as well as the version you tested?
Makita or die! But sometimes I use DeWalt, too. When I was a young lad with no money and no sense, I once bought a Black and Decker drill *shudder*
I"ve used regular 360 to paint the interior of my house, so unless the output is weaker, you could probably paint a whole house with it. It'll take a bit longer because of the cup size, but doable.
these video's are sooo much work.
It’s what the kids call “extra”. Dude talks waay too much. Turns a 4 minute video into 20.
This is huge. I saw this the other day on Graco's RUclips channel. Why Graco? It's does the best atomization of your finish for these types of jobs (meaning smaller spray mist, leading to much better looking finish and easier to work with in between coats). And at this price point, there's pretty much nothing that can beat it (not an affiliate). I have a Graco HVLP sprayer, call me biased, but it's great equipment. I'll be picking one of these up. Thanks Clint for the how-to.
Let me know how you like it AB 👊👊👊
Can you use oil based semi transparent stain in this?
That's not bad! I got to get one!
That thing is totally cool, dude
Cool tool❤
I have the 20v Ultimate Graco and I haven't had a problem with the pump. However, the black cap on the lid I buy 3-6 at a time because they mess up easily for some reason and it almost seems like a broken pump. But that cap will mess you up idk why.
Looks fantastic…especially for projects in the middle of nowhere…..if this thing can shoot some Rust-Oleum paint for rust prevention or some primer etc it will sell to a lot of small business owners….no need of anything that pretty much anyone will have a drill ready to use or sacrifice for those projects that are hard to be accomplished without special equipment….I can paint a fence far away from anything for example.
Great review thanks! I would love to see more recommendations on 18v attachments
Thanks for another video that is "Kinda 'nas like!" Here's one for the algorithm. :^)
Does this work well with autobody paint as well??
I have the electric version of that sprayer, had it for two years now. Love it, fill it, paint, rinse it, put in pump armor, no issues whatsoever
What’s pump armor?
@matthewpiotrowski2677 it's a chemical that lubricates and protects the working components as well as removes most of the paint residue inside. You'll find it at the spray section at home depot or Sherwin Williams
Love it,! great idea, but what's the price for purchase?.
i bought one and used my flex on turbo and it’s just about the same as using the magnum offered by graco.
You always add the turbo bonz 👊
I was waiting for you to do this full length video. This is gonna be a great addition in the future. Hopefully you’re not floating away over there, cause someone forgot to turn the water off over here.
Haha, this weather sucks brother. Rain, rain and more rain 😪
@@ToolReviewZone same here
Can you use fence *Creocote* in holder instead of normal paint?
Interesting! Any idea how it compares to the Homeright or Wagner sprayers? (Even though they aren't cordless).
Great question. Never used a homeright, but I disliked the one ot two Wagner sprayers that I had very much. That's why I was somewhat shocked with how well this worked and I never had great experience with the smaller types of units
Is there any battery powered paint sprayer that has not been discontinued ?
Looks very interesting. How does it compare with a DIY paint sprayer, like those available from Wagner?
I hated my Wagner sprayer. This was waaaaayyyyy better
thats pretty neat there OhiO! , im sure i can find some leftover TTI drills to use.. smFh
Hmmm...thinking of doing a guitar build kit. This might work great for painting the guitar!
I'd like to see that 👊👊👊
Finally something that works that won't break the pockets off my pants.
You can always use some masking tape on your drill to limit overspray on it when through just peel it off.
was going to say the same. Or a Ziploc gallon bag or plastic supermarket
I LUV IT
I need to get one
Will this product work with lacquer sealer or blush retarder ????
Nice Video👍can I use oil base on this sprayer? Thanks 💕
Should have no issues 👊👊👊
I am going to do a spray in bed liner in my truck. Will this work with that type of application?
Thay stuff is pretty think. I don't want to say yes or no as I'm just not sure Richard
Do you think this would work for a house foundation or should I go with a n actual sprayer for that?
If the requires more than 2 gallons of paint I'd say it's a no go. It's really meant for small projects.
The best non-mechanized tool for painting is still rollers or the trusty paint brush.
I like it I wonder if it could do Bed liner
Hopefully you try it with the turbo button engaged.
You always add the turbo button bonzman 😪
You going to try it on the flex?
The PAIN CANISTER (2:59 caption) sounds like something I would like to use on the Makita Gnome!!! So PESKY! ⚡⚡☠⚡😱⚡⚡
Thank you for coming to my rather unkind-to-gnomes Ted Talk.
He is extremely pesky Floober, and I would paint him Ryobi green just because of how pesky he is
@@ToolReviewZone That _would_ make him easier to spot, good idea.
Nice
Hmm can I use oil base? It sounded like you said there is a tip
It's a great idea, however the price doesn't make sense. this version is $189, or for $165 you can get the one that doesn't need your drill attached, but runs off a cord. Now the true cordless one that took a Dewalt battery is $650+ so it would be a good option to get the cordless for a lot less money (that's the one I wanted to buy, until I seen the price). Would be cool if someone made a video showing all the different models they offer, and why each one is worth the price. I might pick one of these up, for that cordless option. Would have thought this option would have been cheaper than the corded model, since they don't have to include any electronics.
Appreciate the feedback 👊👊👊
We will see some cheepos out of China show up on Amazon in the next few months for sure. This is a $80 product at best.
The drill has been very useful since I bought it. The batteries are still working perfect only the extra battery pack that I bought from home Depot is giving less time now.
do you have to dilute the paint with a certain amount of water?
Nope
❤❤❤❤ I need that one 4sure
This could actually be really useful for painting a gate or a bench.
What type of dark manic is this? Wow.
Oil paint? Oil Fence tint?
1. Pump only lasts 20 hours
2. Area prep (plastic sheathing etc) + cleanup is more than time saved spraying unless you have a large job
3. If you have a large job a dedicated paint sprayer will do a better and faster job. You're going to be spraying 5x as long and refilling constantly with this tiny sprayer
I have cordless drills and batteries. I like the idea of this sprayer. My use would be spraying an oil based stain on my deck and fence. However, it doesn’t look like it’s durable enough or affordable enough. We would be looking at spraying around 10 to 12 gallons of stain with this thing.
It'll work but you still want to back brush the stain in so it absorbs properly into the grain just it will be lots of refilling. Depends on how much you want to spend for a sprayer and if you will use it again. Other option would be the graco X5. How massive is this deck?
@@hellaboredfs the deck is 8’ x 14’.
based on the recommended use from the manufacture it would be a no. Items tend to fail faster when not being used for what they are intended for.
Is there a product that can change a sprayer into a drill?
i was gonna say even Graco itself can't figure out how to make a good handheld sprayer, then the video started playing.
I'm watching ur video from Islamabad, Pakistan. I bought this same DeWalt from New Jersey in 2013, the one that uses 20 volt batteries.
I have Chinese sprayer and I was wondering if this would get attached to my drill. I'm building my home here and do most of the chores myself. I am planning to paint the whole house with my sprayer. I am also wondering if it gets choked or not. Our construction is different from USA we don't have wood mostly it is concrete and cement. If you or anyone else seeing this may guide me. I'll be obliged😊
189
wow
better be good
Gotta see how this puppy works on my car
Cool
I’m visualizing guys painting their vehicles with that. 🤔🙃😬
Smeesh that like button. 👀👉🏼 👍🏽
I wanna see someone paint a car body panel or hood or some other similar thing with this. Curious if it will spray even enough for a decent finish.
I'll let you know if I find out lol. If I can do a good coat with a spray can, I'm willing to bet I can do better with this.
Maybe for a sanding primer…even under trailers, campers or cars will work probably.
Still looks fantastic for non finished jobs….
Imagine someone in the middle of nowhere to be able to paint his project without air, power etc…
Great! Looks to be the same front end that GRACO has for their other portable, battery operated paint sprayers. You simply provide the motor and power source separately with the drill/driver you already own. I need another motor, battery and battery charging system, like a need a hole in the head.
So you don't already own a drill or imoact driver🤔
@@ToolReviewZoneI think he's saying he has enough battery platforms and is happy to not have to get another built into a sprayer.
That pump is rated for 20 hr. use . And then you have to replace pump I paid over $600 for the 20volt Graco version replaced three pumps already do not recommend that sprayer to anyone. It is not a good product. No amount of cleaning will save that pump. Garbage !!!
What was the failure mode? Did the piston seal fail and internally leak?
I had the same experience with the one I used.
Would not buy again.
The failure mode is irrelevant because you can't fix the pumps. You have to buy a while new pump for $200. It's such a bummer
Thanks for that information
How can there be a pump failure. When the drill is acting as the mechanics of this tool. I'm assuming it's just spinning and impeller to draw up fluid/paint. It's not like this tool has a pump motor that will shit out. And like any sprayer, if you clean and maintained it, they tend to last awhile 🤷♂️
The only problem with spraying that picnic table like you're doing is you got to give it several coats because you have to thin the paint before it go through the sprayer so you're really putting a thin coat on there with the picnic table you should be using a brush
thats real naaasss like
Meu sonho comprar uma Graco
None at Home Depot in Canada yet
Can’t believe Very Camera Guy wouldn’t hold the camera for you
Bruh does this work for small auto paint jobs too?
My whole life I was told it was a paint canister. Imagine my surprise after reading it's actually called a "pain" canister😮
. . .and I'm upset about the table. . . :^D
Compressor plus an hplv spray gun from harbor freight... Cheapest way
I wonder how it would do with plasti-dip
Can agree makita is ehhh..BUT, their 40v miter saws lay shame to all others. Ive had them all 😂 only thing better is a festool.
👍👍👍👍
worth about 99.99
So is a big Mac these days 🤷
Magic 🪄 😂
🧙♂️
where is the link to this product? also, would you paint a car with this tool. I am thinking it could be done using car paint. why not make a video painting a car, that would be a good one to watch
If this was like $99 id buy it. $200 is too much. 😊
Yup
Right, I'll stick with the Wal-Mart $40.00 corded sprayer.
If the thing only lasts 20 hours, even $99 is way too much.
IMHO, of course.
@@patrickbodine1300 true.
We’re getting closer and closer to lithium ion powered cars, 120 volts
This is really nass like! Thanks TRZ! Btw what’s with 90 gallon paint container?😂😂😂
There's more paint everywhere than on the job, 😂
Me: "I gotta buy a M18 cordless drill!"
My Wife: "WHY!!"
Me: "Because I want to buy a paint sprayer" 🤓
Niceeee
