God!!!! I was dreaming about it!!!
I am just trying this at the moment and I can tell you that it is far superior than Amplitube 5 which also has the SVT VR, SVT Classic and the SVT PRO 4. I use the Amplitube 5 Ampeg models all of the time for recording which are close but this SVT Suite sounds like the real thing. Maybe they could include a B-15 in the near future which would make it the perfect Ampeg Suite.

I wonder... How would it compare to the old plugin Ampeg SVX by IK Multimedia? (They seems to had been discontinued, but in the past I had and use it, even on Live Performance situation and I liked it).

I hope this sounds even better than amplitube with its ampeg simulations. They are already quite near to the original.
Hasnt Ampeg worked with them to create Amplitube, and if so, have you stopped working with them now that you have your own amp plugin?

Uses the same “engine” but the models are all brand new.
It is not. We used some building blocks from Helix, but everything is customized and updated from there for Ampeg land.
This plugin is already known to crash your DAW if there is any kind of external drive connected in use. That has to be fixed. Looks promising though.

Hmm... neither Reaper or Ableton can scan the vst2 or vst3 files and Blue Cat's Patchwork 2 just crashes when trying to launch either of the vst files. I'm on Win 10 with latest updates and have all the Visual C++ versions installed.
Hi NJ! Sorry to hear about your issue. I'll pass this along to the team to investigate. Just want to double check that you've manually selected VST2 in the installer and that the VS2 was properly installed?
I use Reaper and I don't have any problems adding the VST into a track.
@@liberatimusic Yes and yes. But neither vst2 or vst3 files work. I just noticed that you are partnered up with Line 6 for this and I can also tell you that Helix native doesn't run on my system either! I downloaded the trial for Helix maybe a year or two ago and tried everything to get it to run but the most I could get it to do was open up once after installing, then after maybe 10-15 min it crashed and after that it wouldn't open again.
Edit: I just discovered that the Ampeg Suite only crashes when I have my external drives and/or a USB-stick connected. I do need my external drives connected though so if there isn't a fix to this I won't be able to run it anyways.
@@fendersunburst4832 Seems like it is a problem with Line 6's coding and having external drives connected in some systems.

Yes, both ampeg and line 6 are property of yamaha.
Let's say, for example, you have a bass that's stereo output capable... then what? Or, if you want to use your sansamp instead of the plug in effects... how does that work?

Ya I know right. I guess if your just into VSTs its cool but Ampeg is pretty late in the game and I am not seeing any game changers here. I'd sooner buy a svt and 8x1o then another plugin
These models are much different than the Helix models, and cabs built of full resolution IRs, not sims.

Alright… here’s the issue. What are you supposed to do when you select your input device, but then get a message that says “cannot use this device” or something to that effect
You would Rubin that a further message would pop up saying what the problem is and how to fix it… but no. You’re left scratching your head and pissed the fuck off because you can’t figure it out yourself
You all said that this can be ran as a stand alone. No pain in the ass DAW should be required, which is why I bought this . Fuck using a DAW.
