How to change PCV valve on 96 Ford Ranger 2.3l

Clearing the third code for a PCV valve in order to pass smog. First code was for purge control valve second code was misfire cylinder 1

Good Video. However, after watching a few videos on this subject I think you were remiss in not cleaning the gunk out of the PCV Valve receptor, maybe with a vacuum of some kind. You don't want that gunk being sucked up into the new PCV Valve.

Did you not change or clean the crankcase breather filter ? Heard you can use a spray to clean the junk out.

It was just the one code for the PCV valve and it went away on its own
