A video of Big Ben of course I'm gonna watch it.
Being considered in the MVP voting while averaging less than 10 points per game speaks a lot about his impact on the game and his importance for the Pistons during that early 2000s. Besides averages are just numbers, no one can argue about the results and the success he brings to his team.

After Rodman my Favorite Rebounder ... Best Help Defender ...which to me, yes yes, is what basketball is first about ...whatever size you are ...the most vacant spots on a team is for the best help defenders ...in Big Bens case it was a Forward acting as a Center ...but with kids it's about point guards thinking as centers ... Am Football is the other half of all this

I remember when Grant Hill was traded. He obviously wasn’t Jordan but he was ridiculously talented with the Pistons. With him they were up-and-coming but he walked to build a super team with Tracy McGrady and it felt like that rise was over. The anger I felt seeing a full-page photo ad in the sports section paid for by Hill saying “Thanks for the memories Detroit!” I was a dockporter on Mackinac Island when I saw that and crumpled the paper up, told people around me that the Pistons would win a title before the Magic and beat Hill in the process. I had no idea how, nor was I convinced that they actually would do it! I watched every game of the rise of Ben Wallace and the progression of the Pistons all the way to the 2004 title. It was absolutely amazing. Ben was a revelation. One of my favorite athletes ever in any sport. The narrative today is that it was a shock that the Pistons beat LA but it wasn’t at all. At least not to my friends and I who watched every game back then. That team knew that they would eventually have to beat them and figure out a way to slow down Shaq if they wanted to win the title. Every time they faced LA in the regular season they were trying different strategies. The most common highlight played is Ben blocking Shaq when Shaq was with Miami. My favorite Shaq block by Ben was late in the 2004 regular season when they finally found the right combo. Mehmet Okur bodied Shaq just long enough to let Ben come over with his help side defense. Ben got the block and that was it! After that block I knew they could win. Those Pistons were defensive tacticians and once they figured out an angle to beat you at something they’d just hammer you with it.
Great video, thanks for the memories. The Pistons of today need to watch this to see how Detroit basketball teams win championships: DEFENSE!!!

So please, if you really respects his career, you’ll do an nba timeline video on him, and i think it’ll make me feel better as I pray for my Jewish people in Israel.
