- Hey beautiful folks!!! I know I know, y'all have been looking for this review for a hot minute so today we're talking all things Melanin Hair Care! Whitney released her new Multi-use Softening Leave-in Conditioner for pre-order during Black Friday and I purchase two along with the Twist Elongating Style Cream to do a review for you all. So this review is a culmination of testing this product over the last couple of weeks based on all of the claims that are marketed! This leave-in was formulated to be a moisturizing, conditioning, and softening product that can be used for 7 different purposes (yep you read that right!). I’m in complete agreement with you! This is my 3rd week using it and I must say as a refresher this is my top choice product. If I do a wash n go around the 3rd day I use a refresher to twist my hair. The slip was on point and not to mention the shine and softness. When you started to say you had an extra bottle I was immediately saying no no no, girl keep it! I love the butter as well, it lasted me a entire year. I just bought another one. Awesome video

I literally just used the Melanin leave-in tonight as a prepoo/detangler and twisted up my hair. It's a dream as a detangler. The slip was everything! I love the oil also. BTW...your braid out is bomb💜

yes I like them both and the oil , my wash and go lasted for a week , it a little colder in Philadelphia . And as always your hair looks nice . I'm going to try it with a gel next time

I feel like the leave-in conditioner could have contributed to the dryness. It doesn't seem to work that well for me. Maybe it depends on your porosity?
You and your hair are gorgeous. My birthday is next week so I'm breaking my no buy for Melanin. Whitney's concoctions helped me keep hair on my head back in the day. She also taught me how to pronounce cupaucu 🙂.

Your hair is absolutely beautiful. I use it as a leave-in conditioner on wash day and a refresher between wash day. I have to try the As I Am Black Jamaican Caster Oil water.

The Melanin Hair Care has changed my hair so much in a good way. I have been able to wear my twisted out for over two weeks. My hair has stopped breaking off with the conditioner.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it because my hair hated it, it gave me my worst hair week in a decade. I had a feeling I wasn't going to like it when I saw that glycerin was the 6th ingredient and aloe vera did precede it that it was going to be a fail, but I love Whitney so much that I wanted to support her journey. I will admit it has a ridiculously amount of slip to the point the plastic bag wouldn't stay on properly, it has moisture on wet hair only, but when it dries, the desert. I even paired it with the elongating cream, I could tell that the cream was trying to smooth my cuticles but the leave in was preventing it from doing so. I'm glad I got to support her, so I guess that's all that matters. By the way your hair looks amazing.
