However 4 years ago people weren't as knowledgeable about NGO, Antifa, Guards singing from same song book, arms of state. Now the eyes are open, and I'm hearing a lot of Irish say Defund NGOs. We can't have these paid Govt activists, their political interference, and their always Anti Irish agenda. Covid19, ngos pushed that, abortion - ngos pushed THAT, massimmigration, ngos again, corrupt perversion & hate for Irish taught in class - Teni, Spunout, +Ngo from Galway university pushed that. Thank God Irish people copped the last 2 referenda were more NGO political interference.
Well done Ben.Grip media are brilliant. If you want value for money get NGOS out .We didn't vote for them.Who is running this Country. The rubbish that is going on in our country needs to change .God bless Grip media.
I got the fright of my life when I got into one of those Irish Family Planning meetings to see what was going on. The National Womens Council of Ireland, the students unions, the immigrants groups, Dept For Affairs, ALL pushing for more abortion. That pro abortion satanic campaign was pushed by NWCI and all the NGOs & arms of state. When you see the political interference, and drive of billions behind something so evil, you see the danger of these NGOs. Non Govt organisations? They are Govt operatives colluding with nefarious arms of state. No end to money invested in aborting poor infants. They're absolutely depraved lunatics, 7,000 killed babies a year isn't enough, the want more abortions, later term abortions. All the while pushing mass immigration, another NGO cashcow.
Great work Ben always asks questions that answers need to be brought to light, I cannot and will not ever see the need for these ngos, no need for them, and a lot of them, are a nuisance to the country
Some NGOs go out scouting for business, and in that process they create needs and grievances that before didn't even exist. They are encouraging people to demand things that are only privileges, not rights.
Ireland, WAKE UP!!!!! Get them out now And then we need to get out of the EU. They really do think that they will get back in 😂 Never again will I Vote for them. What a disgrace for Ireland if they get even one Vote!!!!! Wake UP!!!!!
We have 1.7 million nonIrish here now. Many of those can vote. 60k people leave Ireland at least in a year, many Irish. Of the Irish remaining, state/semistate employees, those employed in ngos and immigration - all will vote fg 32,000 ngos, how many fg votes there
That's all very nice. The absolute fear of this govt with regards to tackling the complete nut-jobbery of some of these activist NGOs. They gave these people so much power, and they''ve abused that power, and now they're petrified that they'll be labelled many of the things that they, themselves have no problem with labelling the general public as, when it comes to certain matters. This is how these NGOs work. They cease the moral high ground, and then heavily penalise anyone who even remotely steps out of line, with cancellation attempts and to the point of destroying people's lives and careers. Well done ya bunch of class chess players. It's like they just specialise in not being able to figure out what happens next. Maybe they'll eventually cop on how sinister and malevolent these people really are. They want absolute power. Anyway, back to the view count on the SPHE whistle blower, which will get me back into a good mood.
2.8bn a year from Roderic O Gormans department under the heading "diversity equity & inclusion". We could build a childrens hospital every year for that. Money down the toilet.
Cut the funding to the National Women's Council. They dont represent Irish Women. They state on their website they have 190 members, and they used taxpayer-funded money from Government to campaign for a YES vote in the Family and Care Referendum. The outcome of the Referenda was a clear and resounding "NO" vote to changes to constitution, meaning as the Minister says, the Irish Women's Council are clearly out of touch with ordinary Irish women. DEFUND them NOW!!!
NGO economy, ie NGO industrial sector, migrant/refugee industrial sector, writing off 1/2 billion euros in public money on previous "metro consultants" in 2012 you just love to waste money on nonsense.
The Charities Regulator needs to be scrutinised too. It's allegedly an "independent body" but appears to be positively predisposed towards woke "progressive" applicants while extremely hostile to any applicant that doesn't parrot an approved narrative. There's numerous left leaning "charities" that appear to carry out identical activism robustly supported by establishment politicians and legacy state media. There appears to be several separate charities for every group in the alphabet rainbow movement, which is hardly representative of the actual percentage of citizens in that demographic.
These ngo's are recieving 6 billion a year surely they could shave that number down, even by 2 billion. That could be useful every year, you could raise the old age pension maybe so they can heat and eat. Tbh honest to be paid to help someone in trouble is a bit yuk!
Government tried to outsource the work of engaging with community and understanding social concerns to NGOs, but then the NGOs just became swamped with ideological activists who aren't competent enough to be hired in most other roles, or the private sector. It's like they inadvertently created a new HSE or OPW, and now have to try and reign it in/clean it up.
Several NGOs in Limerick city are ruining community's by dumping problem tenants into older estates without any infrastructure in place to cater for the serious needs of these tenants, this job used to be done by council housing officers who were open to public scrutiny that NGOs can ignore. All those council housing officers kept their jobs so what duties are they paid to do now? I the private sector those council housing officers would be made redundant. Spending more money to do the same job but badly?
There are well over 32 thousand NG0s in Ireland. According to Gript news in 2021 €5.9 billion euro (which would have obviously risen by now) is state funding. Whilst I am not saying some of these don't do good work; I am asking if Ireland really needs over 32 thousand? That's one thousand for the 32 counties of Ireland. 😮
Ngos need to be defended by 4 billion that 4 billion would solve the housing crisis. What's also important is investment into new energy sources, developing the roads to be more wildlife friendly
There needs to be an independent investigation into all NGOs. How much money they are getting and what exactly their contribution is to our society, what is the Irish taxpayer getting for their money. The general public should have full access to all information about these NGOs.
He has the Aura of an honest rational man trying to stradde the line between telling the raw truth and towing the line for the sake of his and his family's livelihood. What a shame, sums up the inherent poisoning of character that the Irish political system does by default
Bla bla BS BS BS bla bla "......that needs to be looked at". What a Waffler. We all know that nothing will change because these incompetent idiots couldn't be bothered to rectify the situation. Their motto - if it's broke, don't fix it.

But I would b offered heroin when pilled up an within 3 months was a heroin addict. Its my own fault and and in sober nearly 2 years now from everything wont even have one drink or toke. They could have put more money into building more rehabs and like I mentioned before drug free accommodation. I've a friend on the street 3 years because she clean and for years and cant be put in a room with girls who will rob her and openly do drugs they let you do it in the rooms. It should be an area downstairs so they can use there hang out do their thing and leave the sober people along. Anyway defund them and use the money on the poor Irish for one. Can we be put at the front of the queue just once it's infuriating. I'm doing great and got my own place 13 years waited got talking to a Nigerian I know the accent plus my gf is half tho she has a thick cork accent lol anyway he got his place is 3 months and was complained he had to stay with Somalians the time he was there seemed a nice enough bloke but it's so wrong whats happening he said his brother owe money for drugs and fled so the dept pass to him. I said why Ireland snd not the rest of the world he said his friend showed him o gormans tweet and 20 of them left that month he said he want to work but have no education so he gets the dole he got his first payment a week and a half after arriving. They gave him a phone clothes and vouchers for dunnes he said they feed him enough when he was at the ipas he used it on alcohol and cigarettes while he down drink so would swap for weed. 200 a week voucher free food clothes rent and credit couldn't make it up. DEFUND NGOs immediately.
Disgusting misuse of representation of the Irish communities.. Ngos must go
Defund the NGOS
89 NGO's dealing with racism alone, is there even one NGO to help Irish people return to the Country of their birth
I think Dept FoRegn Affairs might have a diaspora programme
Place is upside down these NGOs are as bad as politicians.
#SOFARREMOVED.
Is that number accurate? How did you come by it?
No, there isn't. They're all anti-Irish. NGOs all over the EU are working against the interests of their host countries.
@@countrichardvoncoudenhovek8855 did my comment go walkies
6 Billion for Unelected NGOs 😮
Defund

Non government, should mean not be funded by the government. Tax payers money.
Here here!
Exactly.
Irish Gov funds NGO's but can't build a Children's Hospital they allow Irish Children to die & live in agony how can anyone vote for these people?
But they do, they love being their own worst enemy, old Irish trait, like turkeys voting for Christmas.
Well done Ben this needs to be seriously looked at and funding withdrawn to many NGO groups doing more harm than good.
Ben and Gript real work
6 billion,omg shameful
Charity begin at home
400 extra staff to look after the👹 We now know what the Gov. intends to do in the future. I am sure most of the 400 will not be Irish??
Waffle waffle waffle …. So that’s a no then
That’s a big fat NO

NGOs have no place in interfering in our voting systems & political decisions. The Irish people are the main "stakeholders" not international NGOs.
Don't forget unions. They hold massive power by being able to say we will tell our members to vote for or against something.
I got the fright of my life when I got into one of those Irish Family Planning meetings to see what was going on. The National Womens Council of Ireland, the students unions, the immigrants groups, Dept For Affairs, ALL pushing for more abortion.

Money is not life or blood, it's a dead entity, it's a system of enslavement.
