The best part about this video is the post-tourney interview with both SonicFox and Flux. That kind of information and how they think about certain situations and what they do to deal with it... we need more of those. The other lesser-skilled players who want to improve need to understand how experienced players think about the game so that they can also adjust as well; if they can copy something, then by all means, because playstyles are not copyrighted.
We need more of those exchanges between good players.
Despite dropping the combos, Flux has done super incredible! He finally beats SonicFox in this game! Very good shit!
Jedah has always been a favorite from Darkstalkers, so when I see him used in MVCI I get so happeh.
Fox is doing well against the veterans. Flux still putting in work with his Zero. 👌🏼

Semij defeated SF in injustice 2 this year in tournament after big dominance, and we all know what that made SF do in becoming a more multiheaded monster for the tournaments after :) . He really can adapt and learn why he lost in ways a lot of people just haven't demonstrated.
But in all seriousness, and without conjecture of the future; this wasn't even a major loss or anything, and he did go 4-3 against Flux in both the sets, so to say he was still not demonstrating the fact he is still in high contention for that title is just absurd, and far too early. And well, just going against the trend that sonicfox has been setting down the last few weeks.
Also, in the new TSL 4 tonight that I just watched, SonicFox just got his revenge :)
There are way more comments saying shit like "I don't get all the the sonic fox hate, they both deserve a medal" than they're are comments hating on sonic

SonicFox, by resume, is one of the greats of this game. He’s proven that he’s better than a huge chunk of the marvel legends. Even buying the game late.

And he already won the rematch today against Flux in the grandfinals of TSL #4. So, yeah, a day of adjustments. Plus, he still went 4-3 in losing out of these grand finals in this video. Yeah, people declaring this the death of SonicFox's awesomeness in this game seem to be really, really buying too much into this.

Lintlikr1 it's not mvc3, drops aren't exactly bad in this game if you can keep them in the vortex because of how heavily shit scales in this game
People like to complain about the combos that Flex dropped; but refuse to even think about the times where SonicFox made some similar types of mistakes that might have turned it around. Accept that both messed up, and both played well; but this is the result.
Plus since SonicFox beat him 3-0 in the first set, for the reset - SonicFox actually beat more rounds than Flex when they fought that tournament. So people need to stop saying "OMFG, FLEX BETTER". No. Stop. You are embarrassing yourself.

Sonic Fox got revenge, but by playing a bit cleaner without messing up his play to what Flux was doing. The "Flux is better" is now short lived. It lasted a day until the revenge tournament :)
yall some savage mfs. seemed like sonic was playing better but was in losers so had to win twice as many games. im not a big fan of either I was just surprised flux won. also he didn't drop lightning loops much in mvc3 so its odd to see so many drops. you guys are takin it a little too far hahaha

Plus, even in this one - he was in losers, and 3-0d him to bring Flux to losers before he adjusted; so the overall score between them was still 4-3 Sonic. Don't understand the SonicFox hate. He did well considering this is his first marvel game he has played . And considering Flux a Top player in UMVC3 was still playing UMVC3 in Infinite (I.E. Shitty Port Overs/No Expansion on the older roster) I think the fight was hype and both sides are winners.

Skullgirls is more akin to MvCi than MvC3 is. SonicFox loves SG and plays it A LOT.

I think quite a few people were just waiting for him to lose so they could make fun of him. It doesn't take away the fact that he's still one of the strongest players in the game at the moment.
It's cuz Capcucks are often insecure and they've been pretty salty about an NRS players beating them at their own game. It's makes them feel like their integrity as a fighting game scene is lost and they feel small. Sad huh. Personally, I love crossover from different scenes. I want more of it.
