Melissa was my favorite character on this show. Ana Alicia played her magnificently. The first 3-4 seasons of this show had many interesting characters and storylines. Loved it

I hated how they got rid of Melissa. She was troubled but the fans felt for her and loved her and Falcon Crest was never the same. I wish Jane Wyman would have intervened to keep Melissa on the show. Towards the end, even Jane Wyman was displeased with the scripts and the show’s direction.

Ana Alicia's Melissa was my favourite character,she reminded me of Patricia Mc Pherson who played Bonnie in Knight Rider

Pilar was class but she added nothing to the story line. They tried to make a new Melissa in season 9 her Aunts sister Genelee.
Killed her off brought her back as a new character show cancelled lol
I hated what they did to her character.
