That last part at 3:25... so beautiful and so sad. Absolutely love it!
This was such a beautiful piece. The sad, sombre, deep piano notes go perfectly with the carnage left behind.
3:25 is where it gets real.
Definitely one of my fav music, I'm listening to it every day. Playin Path of Exile with many DOS2 songs too.

I gave up 2 days, but every time i hear the part after 2:25 in the game, I start going crazy and start googling. Even tough it's a short it's worth it.

Every time I hear this music I remember the first time I played and found Gwydian's family. I struck up a conversation with the magisters, fairly confident that my persuasion main could get them to leave. But he couldn't. Every failed persuasion check, another innocent person was killed, and the more desperate I got. Finally when only one or two were left I gave up on talking and thought maybe by fighting I could at least save them, but my party was too weak to even manage that. I've never felt so helpless in a game before and it was an incredible feeling.
I share a similar experience. The feeling of helplessness and frustration. After the battle I just kind of pondered for a few minutes with the fantastic music playing in the background.

I didn't even talk to them, I've just straight up opened up with Epidemic of fire on them. Because screw them and everything they stand for.
@@EgorKaskader I was slightly op before i came there and was studying the situation from afar.My char and Lohse were on aerothurgy just enough so that i can port and displace them as far away from the hostages.Opened with the line that I will not let them do this to anyone else(got the hero tag).
i always avoid that more family members die, in the camp with the massacre shortly before you can find a ghost and talk to her. so you can talk with that stanley guard and lure them away without the first attack, beside your characters get the hero trait.
i love games where your choices and way of play have impact on things.

This version of the "A Tear In The Veil" is so much better than when you get from the Divine Ascension, thanks for sharing man.
The lady vengeance final departure quiet version is even better because of the vocals in the end..

This and the music in Arx is so good... Like the musicians did an extraordinary job on this game!
ADC Vivan it’s all the composer. Unfortunately the guy from the last games (Kirill Pokorovsky) passed away, but I’m really liking this guy (Borislav Slavov). Of course, there’s not actually any musicians that I know of that worked on this, as this is synthetic, like most soundtracks you’ve heard most likely

The arrangement is phenomental here. It's so much better and reacher then official TitV track from OST. Thanks for the track! (zippyshare is down, by the way, but mega still lives).

I'm curious as to the instrumentation behind this track. The only thing I can identify with certainty is the piano.
Lots of brass intruments I'd say
Clarinet (or bass clarinet), trombone, guitar, maybe cello. The only musical experience is in wind symphonies, so a lot of the instruments are exotic to my ear.

Hello! Have you recorded the music in the mines in the blackpit region, before finding the hidden temple? It has some trumpets or other brass instruments. Reminded me of some music from Dragon Age Origins.
Was there notable music in the mines beside the one after opening the hidden temple? When I was there it was mostly silent and ambient sound but I'm gonna check it out again tomorrow. If you know a specific place where it plays you could help me narrow down what you are looking for. :3
Argh I am now not so sure where exactly it was but I think in the room where you find the shrieker? Maybe? I remember thinking wow this music is cool, kinda reminds me of Orzammar in DAO. Or maybe I just immagined it^^
Couldn't really find any song besides the quiet ambient noise but that can hardly identify as a song. D:

Another favorite of mine. How did you rip this? Turned off everything but music and then recorded your stereo out?
Jup, just recorded my stereomix with a sound editing program. But be sure to record the master audio, don't let it pass through the windows record mixer and reset your sound equalizers if you have one in place as it will alter the recording. But other than that it's pretty simple. :D
Find any pak extractor and extract from Music.pak then go here forum.worldofwarships.com/topic/95552-converting-wem-to-ogg-for-sound-mods-tutorial/ then extract divinity sound converter to the location where you extracted the wem files and convert it to ogg. I know this is vague but follow the internet and you'll get it.
FYI you'll get about a thousand files that only have numbers for their file names. That's the reason why I didn't follow through on uploading extracted songs. xD
But if anyone is interested I can upload a pack that basically has everything you need to do that. :)
Why not, and yes, I know but Larian only gave as Ascension dlc with 1/10th of the soundtrack. Which is a pity cause there are a lot of awesome songs in there. Btw Bloodmoon Island is another favorite of mine.
