Steelers don’t have to take OT with 20. They do need to draft C before round 3. If an elite DL player is there at 20, don’t be surprised if they go DL at 20 because of the value
DL would be helpful 🙂 Stop ✋️ the run and establish the run. When the trenches. Rush the quarterback protect your Quarterback
They can take a quality OT in 1 and still get a quality C in round 2.

Bro, I'm right there with you, or at least I really hope we do. Honestly, we can't afford not to get a top wr in this draft. Take one in rd 1 or trade up the 2nd, but it's an absolute must imo.

I watched the 1st half of that press conference several times . The questions Omar answered around the Center question from the first guy was where he showed the most “request for approval “ behavior the entire interview . That doesn’t necessarily indicate deception but it does indicate a point he’s really trying to sell harder than any other this interview , wether it be his true feelings or a smokescreen . I would guess the latter . Also right after that exchange Omar started to say there were a handful , then self corrected , and felt the need to soften that and expand that answer to broaden it . Saying that there were several C that would start or “eventually” start . This def indicates an attempt to cover the obvious “thirst “ for a C , tust there are 3 studs there , and they really are going to do whatever to snag one of them. It’s highly highly probable that they will do whatever it takes to make Barton JPJ or Frazier a Steeler !
Obviously if someone falls at tackle I’d take them but I’m hoping for a trade back to grab an extra 2nd round pick & address center and receiver, in any order, with the first 2 picks. Have a feeling they will run it back another year with Dan Moore to cover the other needs on the team in the first 4 rounds

And one more thing,other than Amarius Mims, since the senior bowl,whose name have you been hearing linked to the Steelers up until now and it's still being linked.....jpj that's all you've been hearing other than Mims, if anything Bartons name only just started gaining steam a week ago. So who seems more like the Malik Willis of this year's draft....any guesses?

I’ll say this. There is going to be atleast 2 guys that we will draft that everyone is gonna be like how did these guys just fall into their laps? People fall every year and people you’ve never heard of get drafted too high.
Steelers not wasting the 20th pick on a center. There are too many capable centers in round 3, then re-sign Cole for cheap. 🤷♀️ but round 2 in for a WR!!! Botton line. Round 1, get RT or BAP

Did Frazier win any of the awards for playing center? No! Was he injured, yes. Great player for sure and I wouldn't mind if they got him, but JPJ is just a better all-around player, period. A tackle does not snap the ball on any play.
That player flexibility did not help them win any playoff games, did they?
They need to let players play their natural position. The Green experiment demonstrated that the player flexibility is alright in a pinch, but not good long term. Some say bring Cole back. I say, why?
The need to stop moving players around and go and get your damn center. Either JPJ or even Frazier.
