Kahn: "There's a standard here. I got spoiled. I was around Maurkice Pouncey and Jeff Hartings. Obviously Dermontti Dawson. There were plenty of great center here. There's a high standard so we owe it to ourselves to look at everything to try to find the next great Steelers center."
The Pittsburgh Steelers starting offensive line in 2024, LT Broderick Jones, LG Isaac Seumalo, C James Daniels, RG Nate Herbig and the only decision that’s up for debate is right tackle. What I love about each one of those players, all of them are physical. Can you imagine having to deal with that offensive line for 4 quarters, it’s not a defense in the NFL that wants that problem.
@@carltonclaboine2855 Yeah but even if we go RT in the first Daniels won't be the center. We could grab SVP in the 3rd most likely if we go T in round 1. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out
@@joecampbell2496 There are still 7 rds. In the draft, so what's your point? Further, the Steelers STILL have 7 picks in this 7 rd draft, as THEY (Not "we", unless you're a Rooney, or a minority owner.) have 2 3rds round picks, and 2 6th round picks. So, I'm still not understanding what your response is about.
The quickest way to the quarterback is a straight line, if we can get pressure upfront we wouldn’t have that problem. That’s how you solve that problem.
It's center all day everyday. People should quit over complicating it. Tackle priority isn't even top 3. Dan Moore and Broderick Jones can both be top 15 tackles in the league. People who say we need a tackle didn't watch any of the games last year...or year before that, lol.
Dan Moore is not a tackle I want to start 17 games. He gets pushed around and makes some stupid penalties. There are some real good offensive tackles that will be for the taking in this draft. You want to get better not keep average.Plus Khan wants to move Jones to LT.That requires a RT to be drafted and start halfway through the season cause Tomlin does not start most rookies right away. There were mistakes made in past ol drafts that did not have the lineman play the right position.

Zero chance this happens. Daniels WILL NOT be the starting center
@@jwsteelers1 You do know that Daniels is a better center than he is a guard, go back and look at his tape at Iowa.
@@carltonclaboine2855 That's great I guarantee he's not our starting center
@@jwsteelers1 You’ll know by the first night of the draft, if we take a right tackle first. We won’t take a center till later on in the draft.

You do realize there are 7 rounds in the draft, right? Right?
I think we traded away our 7th

I would get the best player available and then trade back into the first round
Exactly if it’s Arnold of Alabama or kool aid or Quinyon Mitchell or Brian Thomas jr etc
Cornerback should be the 1st pick Steelers can't stop an average quarterback for throwing for 300 yards this has been a big problem for a while

Moore a top 15 tackle? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
