I have been listening to dozens of versions of this song because I want to play it at my dear father's memorial service. I have never heard of Amira but when I heard her version, I started crying and knew it was the one. Absolutely beautiful! I know my father would've loved this version.

My teacher told me not to imitate any singer's voice from CD since the voice we hear from the CD has been enhanced in many ways in the studio. Only listen to the singer's voice when they sing on the stage.

This was Kathryn Kuhlman's theme. She asked...do not come to the stage until you have been healed. I thought it was strange-- no laying on of hands and calling loudly for a healing. But HE was there. And it was not necessary to believe. It happened regardless. And I live because of this. This woman's voice sings the Truth. And it is also wonderous.

It may not seem to be there according to our tv, media etc,, but this young lady is proof positive that there is in some a gift to lift our spirits and give us hope that all is not lost. @@christophervan6966 Fair point. Both young ladies have shown extraordinary talent from a very early age. Jackie has more recently been 'experimenting' with genres differing from the classical crossover style she is known and loved for. It would be interesting to see if Amira makes similar decisions in the future.

One has to shy away from the main stream media and hype, and look for the pure good in this world. It may not seem to be there according to our tv, media etc,, but this young lady is proof positive that there is in some a gift to lift our spirits and give us hope that all is not lost. Thank you Lord for the Angels among us who give us the strength and hope to smile and see the better in this world. Just sitting here , sun shining thru the window with this beautiful piece by this wonderful so talented young lady makes this older veteran smile and know that no one or group can take away our faith and our hope and our spirit.
