Itachi had to let sasuke know who the goat was before he died. Bro styled on sasuke, countered all his jutsus, then asked him to stop holding back when he was outta chakra 😭

i believe the part where we dont hear what itachi said to sasuke is actually itachi planting amaterasu in sasuke's eyes to kill obito, one part jutsu and the other part is where he says "forgive me sasuke" or "forgive me sasuke, this is the last time". something along those lines.

The fact that Sasuke was powered up after absorbing Orochimaru just makes Itachi ass whooping him that much more insane.
I refuse to believe that some people here dont see that itachi could have kiled sasuke with susanno the same what he did with orchimaru. And easily too. One swipe with the tuska blade and he wouldn't see it coming. If itachi didn't wan't save sasuke he wouldn't have dragged that figh outta him. people can really be dense sometime, they don't stop to think.
Don't worry bro, we all know that at this stage of the anime itachi was still by far stronger than Sasuke.

This entire fight was a massive ego check for Sasuke. Itachi was sick and dying and he STILL mopped the floor with Sasuke. He had Sasuke pinned against a wall and physically trembling in fear right before he died. I love Sasuke but holy shit was it so gratifying to hear him talking all that shit the whole fight just to finish it trembling in fear for his life at the end of his rope against someone who was dying and wasn't performing at his best to begin with. Kakuzu's theme playing when Amaterasu was revealed was the most hype thing for me and is still my favorite part of the whole fight scene
This fight was a straight up violation 😭😭😭
for both parties.
Itachi got violated cuz he only lost to disease, and nobody knew that.
Sasuke got violated cuz he got shit on so badly in this fight and got humbled.
It was a loss/loss fight for both parties...
@@BF1_enthusiast how did sasuke get shit on? he countered everything Itachi threw at him and only lost to the Susanoo. His Sharingan came out looking like a million bucks just from countering the Tsukuyomi.

Yeah, since he obtained the Mangekyo Sharingan he use it so often that gets blurry all the times. Do not forget that his sickness that none of the Akatsuki even his own parents knew about.

Itachi was sick, damn near blind from previous times he overused his visual prowess and STILL holding back against sasuke
And he still would’ve won if he wanted
27:30 to this day *STILL* one of the *COLDEST* jutsu introductions in the series.
It’s so interesting when you realize Itachi provoked this whole fight because he wanted to get rid of Orochimaru and give Sasuke the new Sharingan.
He knew he would die but wanted to pass on information and protect his brother
Orochimaru got ignored harder than when Ye remixed like that
All Sasuke did is to brake Tsukuomi on himself, aside from that he did nothing, Itachi let him do his moves and pretend like he was fighting "serious".
The original idea for Itachi was that him to remain evil, but due to huge amount of Love the character received, the author changed him later and make him from villian to hero.
And really took a dump on the story consistency. Making Itachi a good guy doesn't explain mindraping his 12 year old brother and putting Kakashi in a coma for no reason whatsoever. Itachi is the reason why Sasuke went rogue.
How come every reactor finished the video thinking that Itachi was trying to take Sasuke's eye at the end, when it was blatantly obvious that he was doing his big brother forehead touch thing?
