Great update, Totally forgot about Ebony Pendant. Humidity & heat has kicked in, in Queensland. A few days in to summer & it's already quite annoying. Haha!

here in Oslo it is -1/30 farenheit and snowing.around 20 centimeters/8 inches.it will snow a litle tomorrow as well and colder weather forecasted for next week.enjoy the heatwave:)

I'm not familiar with any of those bands as i'm not a big fan of extreme music, but it's a really good idea to add links to sample the music and who know maybe discover your "favorite new band". cheers and be well
nice selection there mate, not heard of any of em ha - I do dabble in and out of black metal, got a fair bit now on all 3 formats - still like to collect ltd tapes as well as vinyl and cds. Its cold as ice here, which I actually prefer to summer
That Evilfeast album is such a wintry album - great stuff. While on a Polish tip, did you check out the new Furia album? nice stuff. As is the new Gruzja.
Great albums there! Excellent update. As far as I recall the ą is pronounced very nasally, almost like a O The cover of the Gulguhk album should be an illustration of Gustav Doré for The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Coleridge, but I might be wrong

Ringarë and Swartadaupuz are responsible for some of my favorite modern era BM releases but I'm not happy to hear that Nattfärd is all guns blazing Marduk style affair. I've listened to Ebony Pendant before but they strike me as a band without their own sound & flavor
Hopefully it didn't come across too much as Nattfard turning into Swedecore, because it really isn't. But it also doesn't sound much like the first album. It's closer to Haxanu if anything. As for Ebony Pendant, they will unlikely win awards for originality at any point but this self-titled is easily their most "Ebony Pendant" flavoured release yet. Give both albums a go.
I know your pain, I lived in Sydney Australia for some years and it was bloody hot and humid! Pure suffering if you don't have AC. Ebony Pendant album is damn good, It's my favorite BM release of the year. The vinyl gatefold and book is really well done. I saw them live last year w/Lamp of murmuur and Arizmenda, really good show.
Some stuff in this video I need to catch up on when I find the time. I have been re-listening to the Ynkleudherhenavogyon album from this year too many times now, it has sneaked into my top 5 for AOTY already. It feels like a hidden gem when it comes to 2023, the project doesn't have a lot of hype but the songwriting on it is exactly what I needed!

That would make sense. Maybe like Orange? And the Gulguhk being a Doré would also make sense!
