Bring it back
Great entertainer was Ted Rodgers. A real people's man. A Superstar, not a cheap celebrity the like you see today. He was a true showman. Genuine. He was always happy for the contestants when they won. His gesture of a hand under the lady's chin while she sat in the Astra right at the end was a wonderful gesture. Miss Ted Rodgers and 321.
That dance routine by Lipstick was ammazing. I want more of this sort of entertainment.
Ha! Ha! Pisstaker! It was specially aimed at all the fat Dad viewers!
The car (Mk1 Astra) is now a classic. I certainly wouldn't have turned my nose up at it.
Glad to see they're adhering to the Highway Code - "Always remember to put your hazard lights on when parked on the set of a Saturday night gameshow."
I failed my test 4 that 1!!!
At 10'33" Ted does say 'c*unt" by accident ... marvellous
Thank you for uploading! For info, Challenge have just started to broadcast the 1979 series.
Ted was especially smart this ep, luv the 3 piece suit!
The preggers lady's baby will be apprx 37 years 2day - Eek!
This just shows that Challenge is seriously overdue for a face lift, and it needs a shake up, at the moment, we're going nuts repeatedly being force fed The Chase, Tipping Point and instead we should have more (decent) shows like Family Fortunes, Treasure Hunt, Crystal Maze, and Big Break. And during the day, Knightmare, Finders Keepers, Blockbusters and maybe a new version of What's my line.
If this is Series 4 Edition 2, where is Series 4 Edition 1? According to Wikipedia, a 3-2-1 New Year special was broadcast on January 2nd 1982, but I do not remember it, and it is not on RUclips. Perhaps someone knows?
by original broadcast it was Central in the midlands. Maybe at filming it was ATV.
Paul Kronbachs I think you’re right. YTV discontinued using the Colour Production end board in 1982 so I’m guessing this was recorded in late 1981.
Utterly puzzled why Ted gave Rcy that samdwich... Weird, I presumed it must lead 2 a gag but it failed! I guess it was a extra clue re the prize...
Roy Kinnear was in Blakes 7 roundabout this time!
7:20 I always found that sound intreging
Wow memory unlocked. Think it had a hypnotic effect on me as a kid 😅
could not understand what the frig this show was about but better than the dross on t v nowadays !
2:39 Was Off Sync, Right?
I fancy Diane. That's all
who is the announcer
Roy Kinnear was on this show but he was not mentioned in the description, should put his name in. And god do I hate Chris Emmett, he used to give me nightmares when I was little!!!
Hah, each to their own - I really like Chris Emmett!
It's his eyes, bless him, like pcached eggs!
The cars always seem massively dated!
ugly car, would have prefered the vacation, thanx for sharing broadcaster!
You’re joking, it’s a classic and beautiful!
Vacation?!
