Hallelujah. I’ll stop complaining about Frankie being an eyesore. Congrats.
what a wonderful group of folks you met picking up your new dingy.
You two are the real deal. Your sence of fun and how life should be lived is very powefull.
You raise my spirits every time that i log in.
Congratulations on the new transport.
We need a name soon. Perhaps " Fredereeeeeeka"
See you soon
Caradon.
Thank you so much! 🥰
always nice having NEW things. enjoy
FYI when you anchor, measure the distance from the anchor roller down to the water. Add that distance to the depth of the water. Then for a quick stay ,lunch on the boat,5:1 , short stay shopping for a couple of hours 7:1, long stay 12:1. So if your boat is 1 meter above the water and the water is 5meters deep 1+5=6. At 12:1 , you need 72 meters of chain out. More for storms. Hope this helps
Love the new dinghy very nice souwester hat is very good don't know how the design has been around at least 100 years all you need is a boom or small crane to lift it onto boat for longer voyages a very good replacement addition to yaba well done happy dinghying 😊😊
Good Morning Yaba-Daba-Do, yes I did and I was correct congratulations and happy to see you all enjoying yourselves, don't worry about the gray skies and rain at least the sun is shining from your hearts, but I don't know who enjoyed it more you or the dogs.
🥰🥰🥰🥰
Give a man a fish you feed him for a day , teach a man to fish you feed him for life ❤
Congrats on the new dinghy. Better later than never. Now, go anywhere!
Thank you so much for showing brazilian people and culture! That was a lovely episode!
Also listening to you guys speaking Portuguese is awesome!
Thank you to the gentleman who gifted you the dinghy. Congratulations!
'Mobee'
That was an idillic little housing work compound, so pretty. Def meeting people like that will be a the biggest benefit of Yaba.
Very nice dingy, suitable for Yab'a.
I really like MP's "knotty" blouse :D
It looks comfortable and casual, yet versatile. Dark colours really suit her, I think
Oh, but I wrote this before she put on the Storm Bonnet! So cute!!
23:09 - the storm hat is very stylish.
Agreed! 😍 we love it!
Congrats on the new dingy!
Great to learn fisherman history of Brazil and get to ride in the native tree canoe sailboat. Sweet people, puppies and a new Sweet Pea dingy car. Nice episode. Thx
Nice to see the new Dingy. Awesome!
Your black dog obviously doesn't like being wet.
The look on his face is priceless!!
So much to learn from those fishermen ,life skills!
Your new tender looks very elegant and sits on the water as lightly as a seagull.
My recommendation is that you use two tow lines just in case one tow line decides to give up the job.
It is such a nice looking tender, it would be a shame if it decided to go on a little self-guided jaunt.
Your happiness at enjoying the hard work of your labors and your new tender is surely going to bring sunny skies, cheers.
COngratulations on the new dingy! AS always, thanks for taking us along.
U guys are amazing. Love ur content . And ur humor .. be blessed .. from a retired military gentleman
Thank you so much!!
You should use two tow lines. If the main breaks during a night transit. You will never see her again. Love ya
I am very happy to have found your channel. Your videos are a real godsend for all lovers of quality content.🐠😸🤚
Make two eyes on the transom to pull the dinghy from with two lines. Let the lines go through an eye on short rope connected to the pull point on the bow. This keeps the bow down as you tow. And more. Nice dinghy by the way!
You guys are a real inspiration
A very warm and happy episode full of joy and endeavor!! Thank you for another wonderful video.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching!!
Look forward to blue skies and fair winds after all yr hard work. Wishing you many more subscribers and new fenders ahead
Thanks for posting and sharing. Best wishes to Yana and crew.
Congratulations on your NEW dingy! Can't wait to see the adventures you get into!
Thank you!!
Loving your videos, cannot wait to see where you go and what you do from here! Be safe, stay healthy!
R2, the new dingy name,Yab`a is looking superb.
Congratulations 🎉
I was just thinking, I've watched you guys from almost the beginning and I really like the sound of the Portuguese language. It sounds really nice to this American. For whatever that's worth.
It seems to have relics of Spanish, Arabic and it a little French. If it wasn't for you guys and Odd, I don't think I would have heard the beautiful Portuguese language as much as I have. Thank you!
Hi, so nice to see you enjoying fruits of your labour. I am enjoying your travels and it reminds me of a boat moored at a place in Scotland called Tobamooray "Auld Reeke" was the name of the boat that originally carried coal from the mainland to the islands of the West Coast. It was a converted coal streamer that was converted to a training vessel to teach sailing and team building for kids who may have never been to the seaside let alone sailing. I spent so much time on board as the coo, it was such a beutiful part of the Scottish Coast so seeing you sailing to the islands brought back memories so thank you. Here's to the next installment,. Stay safe J.
The way you travel is amazing ❤
👍👌👏 I'm happy to see that the cute black dog is helping you quite a lot to steer Yaba! 😁 ;-) Isn't it nice to have the boat for yourself for a change? Here are four 💚💚💚💚 4U.
Best regards, luck and health in particular. To all 4 of you of course.
Thank you so much 🥰
Dear @@SailingYaba couple
Thanks for replying and especially for giving a heart to my comment. I always and totally appreciate both very much. Please pet/hug the dogs for me (thanks in advance).
Sincerely yours.
Loved the poem Ben. I could see as he started and approached his day in my minds eye. I could ‘feel’ his life and his mindset and the life he lived.
Beautifully and simply written.
Thank you for sharing.
Love the dinghy. Is it a Polly craft or rubber?
Congratulations on your new home and little family , just a thought you might get the pups little beds to lay on but with grip so they don’t slide about 🥰
Love the new dingy. Love the yellow hat !!
Congrats on your new dingy! 👏🏻👏🏻
One of your better episodes! Thanks!
Thank you so much. This means a lot to us ❤️
Finally A rill dining!
❤ from 🇨🇦 Bc
You guys sure earned that new dingy! Congrats 🇨🇦
Woohoo!🎉Yaba daba do!❤😁
Frankenstein has been banished by the Wolfman! Oh the drama! Nice dinghy, how about a walkthrough?
What an interesting video, thank you for taking us along.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Dear Sailing Yaba couple.
👍👌👏 Some serious "netforts" to catch fish in the future. 2) Ownership mostly entails obligations = of course now you need a special thingy for your new dinghy. 😁 ;-) So please kindly allow me to suggest something: At last build some davits or add a crane respectively loading boom to one of the masts so that you don't need to tow the dinghy behind Yaba all the time. Keeping it out of the water while sailing will keep the boat much cleaner and safer.
Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing.
Best regards luck and especially health to all 4 of you.
Please consider adding a second painter line to the dingy while towing. Dinghies have a bad habit of wearing though lines and disappearing.😁
You should name the new dinghy La Perla !!!! Excited for you guys!
🦪
It's time for a new Dingy !
Love your energy and and passion for adventure, Yaba has come a long way ,congratulations on the new dinghy. Continue sailing westward… you’ll be welcomed here in Guyana, best wishes 🇬🇾
Thank you so much!!
Congratulations on your new dingy. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Que lindo ! siempre quise conocer Brasil al menos por la pantalla , sigan asi!
You could call your new tender - Sister Sledge ... after the song Frankie :D
Congratulations, you'r going to have a dinghy!
It’s a…. Dinghy!!!! 😄
Espero que aproveitem bem o verão já tão próximo felicidades
Fantastic! Cheers. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
BEN WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THE PLANS OR A VIDEO MADE OF HIM BUILDING ONE OF THOSE SAILING CANOES. btw BEN U SHOULD CONSIDER PURCHASING A COUPLE BUCKLE SEATS FROM A PICK UP TRUCK FOR YOUR HELM THEY WOULD BE SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE FOR YA INSTEAD OF SITTING IN THAT WOODED CHAIR.
Que maravilha. . . .voltamos a navegar pelos sete mares. . . .amo essa vida. . . .me sinto um marinheiro do Yabá. . . .lindo barco de apoio. . . continuo orando por vocês. . . que estejamos juntos por mais 50 anos.. . estava quase esquecendo. . . .MP é o que o Brasil produziu de melhor, a mistura mais sul americana que possa existir, Brasil e Argentina, sorriso natural, olhos amendoados. . . .Bem você é um cara sortudo. . .em cara.
Muito obrigada João!
congratulation for the new dingy!!! it's going to be time to try wingfoiling!!!!
When the new Dinghy is so much fun (of course it is) and by not forgetting old "frankie", you should name it "fun-kie" (not: funky). "Yababy" would also be a good one. I'm curious what you both will pick in the end. Always fair winds, happy travels and best regards from Berlin, Germany
Boa tarde MP e Ben.😊😊😊
I said it before.....what a life style you guys have👌👌👌i am jealous...of jaloers....(in a good way ) thank you guy's for sharing ....it makes my week 👍🫶😎😉🤗
You need to put identification on the new dinghy so when the rope breaks in the night & it drifts away, whoever finds it can return it to you.
Maybe “Yaba Too!” 🤷♂️😉👍
Another polymer dinghy owner here (Whaly 310), do not cheap out on the antiskid. Use only Seadeck branded seadeck otherwise the UV will obliterate it in under a year and you'll spend a few days painfully scraping up the old glue. Ask me how I know...
I am so glad you got rid of " Frankeystein ". Welcome to town.
So. I’m watching your adventures for a while, I just have one thing to say, enjoy, profitez-en, que disfrutais ! You’re sailing Corto Maltese boat, hope you’ll never meet Raspoutine 😊
I was so rooting for a jet boat 😅. Keep bieng awesome.
Yes it was the only option, that you really needed.
Boa tarde MP@Ben tenham uma ótima semana muito gostoso o vídeo de hoje
Muito obrigado! Igualmente!
Fantastica la nuova barca ❤❤😊
Here are three suggestions to make your life easier and safer. First I would recommend adding a loading boom to the forward mast. Second is to buy one of those clear view windows and install it in the window infant of your helm position. This works way better than a whipper. Third and most important one is to have a board that you can slide in to separate the wheelhouse from the hull. Your wheelhouse is at deck level and a big wave in rough weather could easily flood your hull. Alternatively you could separate the wheelhouse were you have that security fence. When you plan to make ocean passages that one is a must.
No safety on this boat mate😢😢
I don't think any ocean passage are planned this is a inshore motor sailor yes need a clear view window .No life raft ??
@@karibakid Ben mentioned in this video how they were going to sail around the world .
A knew Dinghy 🤗🤗
Parabéns pelo carro.novo
Adorei teu chapéu. Muito estitojo⛵⚓⛵⚓🐶🐶
Time to install some anchor rode wash nozzles to spray off the chain with sea water...And some 'Beach Wheels on 'DABA DOO'...
It’s a new dingy you’re having 😂
Felicitaciones por el nuevo bote, es hermoso, se podria llamar Yabita o Yabito.
Since the dinghy arrived without oarlocks you could call it Lockless
getting a new dingy
Hide a Air Tag some where on the dingy. Enjoy Thanks
17,063rd tag-along view about to set sail... 2:31 = in-flight refueling... 'check'. ('islands' = the tops of the ocean's mountains).
Please put a safety line on your outboard when transferring it to the dingy. It will help you NOT to go diving for it again. (Another great video.)
Congratulations on the new dingy 🎉🎉❤
Thank you so much!
I did indeed! New dinghy, new name challenge?
Love the yellow hat. 👍
Me too!! 😍
Now you need to give it a cover to protect it from the sun. Will also make the side less slippery.
You should call the new dingy Dabba do
As your boat is Yabba
Nice 😂😂
Weather change, I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. End of October is typically the big weather shift. Not always, but most of the time. Winter is coming!
What ?? I think they are in Brazil 😂😂
Are you going to reveal how much the restoration of Jaba cost, how ever much it was I’m sure it’s worth it 😊I think it will be worth investing a fixed captains chair in the future less chance of an accident 😊
Your going to get a new dinghy 😅
Hi guys seeing you in the cockpit and MP outside in the rain keeping a lookout, I had an idea I don't know if its feasible to have CTV cameras at the front. The same way some vehicles have reversing cameras
Dingy. New name, Wilbur ❤
Great video!!!😊🎉❤
Be sure you are using two towing lines always ,incase you break one for the dinghy so you dont lose your new dinghy.
You should put a safety line on there a little slack so if the other one parts You won't lose your boat.
Please put a lanyard from the engine to the small boat. If the engine comes off the transom, you will not lose it. You can put a snap on it to made it easy to take off.
