Always majorly saving my life motivational to me.... I love PRV'S speakers, especially their horns , those are high end show quality mids .... Shoot right I just a couple 6.5 Clarion Marine speakers in my Cummins Dually truck that I'm building.... Salute , Blessings to everyone grind and motivations.....
@@CarshowRellStudios i might man. If you have IG or Facebook i can just send you pics of items I've built and accumulated over the years. I don't be on Facebook much but I can do IG if you have it. I don't see myself having time to post videos nor do I know the process or rules currently
Yea man I'd say go with PRV and yes an amp on the door speakers will work wonders. That's my next step and probably swap the head unit and battery to a XS
I like prv, but i really wish they'd get rid of the bogus ppwer ratings! I got like $8,000 in prv speakers only to fi d out i could have saved money and achieve a compatible level of sound quality with another speaker. Resilient Sounda to be blunt. Their v2 lineup for mids is definitely to be considered. Especially if you want a speaker in my opinion compatible with prv. In particular the PRV MR1000
Good thing you ordered the correct size in 4 ohms instead of 8 ohms. .now the speakers getting all the power from the stereo instead of only half the power.
Speakers with a higher impedance (ohms) actually have better sound quality than speakers with a lower impedance.. That's why home audio systems are normally 8ohms minimum.. A lot of home speakers are even 16ohms so you can wire them parallel and still have an 8ohm load to the amplifier.. With car audio systems, we have to compromise and sacrifice some sound quality for more power since we can't really plug a car stereo into a wall outlet and are stuck using batteries for our power source.. The low ohms don't make a huge difference in the sound quality of the subwoofers, but there's a noticeable difference in the sound quality of mid range speakers and tweeters that have a lower impedance.. If you want the best sounding and most balanced systems that you can have in your vehicle.. Run one amp for your subs and keep the ohms as low as you can.. Then run one amp for your mids and highs and keep the ohms as high as you can..
Them Sony xplodes are decent use them as a full in for my 6.5s last over a month with 12 prva slim 6.5s. So would’ve been 10 prv n 2 of the xplodes they all work on clean power
You are absolutely correct. Granted PRV’s is louder/crispier, the audio wasn’t too big of a difference between the two receiving power from the headunit. And you have 12 speakers. In what ride? Suv, Slingshot?
This video shows they live up to the hype . Crisp loud speakers but I still need to put them on an amp to get its max power. I’ve been seeing lately people with slingshots and can am’s with them sounding like a concert on wheels. .
@RellPurnellakaCarshowRell Nice!! Yeah, tricked out golf carts are big where I'm from.. We can legally drive them around town.. There are a few driving around that sound like mobile concert halls.. I'm putting one together for myself now.. I think I'm gonna use PRV speakers for my mids and highs..
@RellPurnellakaCarshowRell Some people have just regular golf carts like you would see on the golf course.. You can buy body kits for them that make them look like mini cars and trucks though.. That's what most people have.. There are a couple mini hummers driving around town.. I've seen a shelby gt500 mustang, a corvette, a 57 chevy.. One guy built one from scratch himself that looks like the 64 Lincoln 4 door convertible President Kennedy was riding in when he got assassinated.. Mine looks like a mini Cadillac Escalade.. They are pretty cool really.. If you didn't know what they were, you wouldn't think they were golf carts when you saw them..

Looks like I'm going PRV and an extra amp. I think I will have to have my rear wired up I have to double check but I don't think it is.

Yes I don’t think I would’ve had enough power to push them.

I've seen a lot of hype online about the PRV speakers, but I have not heard them in person.. Do you think they live up to the hype in your opinion?
