Today we are trying to switch things around and are giving you a rundown of the latest news from the world of aviation. Which of these flying machines is your favorite?
Just read in the local newspaper, Hawaii is getting Wing in ground effect ferries. I'm going to buy a round trip ticket just for the lulz. 🤙 Edit: I just double-checked it's the sea glider.
I am an aviation enthusiast, but my fascination of aircraft is limited to warplanes. These new generation civilian aircraft has caught my fancy though, I like their innovative propulsion and design over the plain jane milquetoast traditional civilian aircraft we have been used to.
@@MrDino1953 I gotta say that I am dismayed about the quality of writing I see on most RUclips channels. Does anybody think about what they are saying? Have they actually watched their own video? Possibly even more alarming is that I see nothing in the comments about this. Instead there are mindlessly effusive love notes, as if this is the greatest thing they've ever seen. I would like to think that the love notes are bots, or some such thing, but it's frightening if they're not. Obviously, without the historic institutional filters on the production of mass media content, the average quality is going to go down, but it's disheartening to see it descend this far...
@@automotiveterritory So, you don't know that basic fact. Got it. ...and the company itself does not encourage confidence if they are stupid enough to not know that there is no such thing as an electric jet. Plane? Sure, stupid idea but okay. Jet? That takes a jet engine.
The black fly has the inconvenience of changing flight angle (without any benefits). It's just as slow as the straight quadcopters! Why it doesn't go at least 150 mph, really boggles me. If it has enough power for VTOL (and streamlined) wtf is holding it back at 60 mph? 😅 I think it must be prop pitch. It might need variable pitch blades for more speed in horizontal flight.
Honda could launch a stretched variant of the HondaJet that will be able to fly 2,690 miles (3,400 kms) non-stop & accommodate upto 10 passengers . . .
@@automotiveterritory Yup I agree with him 100% The Alice Eviation is an Electric Plane not a Jet because it don't have a Turbofan only jets do Turboprops and Turbofans are Similar in comparison So yeah you called it right in way but not 100%
To be a flying car it has to have two caperbilities: VTOL and roadable (as with the last example in this video). It is one of the rare real flying car designs. Most (so called) "flying cars" are just transitional aircraft, not flying cars (in my opinion).
I think they should give up on the idea of a flying car it was a wonderful idea but we have better options now such as vtols you fly to a location then get out a bicycle ,mini motorbike or walk the last little bit and eventually you could develop some of them to go to space imagine the building potential if you made a flying or floating city etc and you could fly up to it whenever you like
Not sure who wrote the narration but Eviation Alice is not a jet. It is also a not a turbopop. it is 100% electric motor. The Celera 500L also IS NOT a Jet, it's a diesel engine. Rubbish verbal content but nice pictures.
This video is mostly click bait and dreams. Much of the products are still in the labs or in drawing stage or is electric, which is miles away from prime time. The fastest means an airplane just beat the last record holder by a few knots, since jets speed been frozen by the "sound barrier" for 3/4 century. The major change to the Gulf 800 was the sticker price.
I don't see any electrical planes getting over any ocean any time soon. The Archer easily has the shortest range of any commercial plane, ever, by orders of magnitude ;-)
Unless you're burning vegetable oil, it is not "sustainable." We are trashing the earth mining battery metals and disposing of batteries, which are charged by fossil fuels. Design a small turbine that burns vegetable oil and alcohol, and I'll go along with it.
Well, it seems that there is no perfect solution at this time. Even if we take into consideration your vegetable oil suggestion, farming requires tons of resources too.
"Sustainable aviation fuel" is an oxymoron. Aviation fuel is not sustainable. It's fossil fuel. Also, a plane with propellers is not a jet. A turboprop is not a jet. And that "flying car" is ridiculous. With that huge thing on the roof it will get lousy mileage on the road.
The people that create the flying car idea do make me laugh.... esp: in this modern world where people are becoming dumber by the year, a flying car with HUGE drone style props just asking to make mince meat of people near it FFS

tangks informasi and education 🙏😇
Thanks for sharing! Just added this video to my Awesome Aircraft playlist.
I appreciate it
Fantastic i whant more please love it .
We gone get there..
Boom, thats an exciting plane.
Is it your favorite of them all?
@@automotiveterritory yeah
Good pick
Nice
Thanks, which of these did you like the most?
🙂Gulfstream G800🙂
Awesome pick!
thanks for all you did , that was so good like always. i want to know more about aviation in here
I appreciate your kind words. Which of these did you like the most?
More, please.
I would like more...
VERY VERY Interesting!!! Show more..............!
That XPENG though....OMG. A VTOL that can traverse Highways wow! What would they think of next!
yeah I'm ready to preorder
i want more
The Boom is amazing
You couldn't find a video with the JetRacer with more clips in it or?
The Alice is a business prop.
Not business jet
Just gotta love evolution.
❤❤❤❤❤ amazing ❤ ❤❤❤❤
Make some more content , please !!!
More aircraft please
I will keep your request in mind, thanks!
Pie In The Sky.
If it has propellers, it is not a jet. Words have meanings.
Yeah, that caught my attention too.

Why are you repeatedly using the word jet to describe turbo prop aircraft. They are not the same thing.
The flrying jet chair probably holds about five minutes of fuel max
I believe the graphics said 3km range😝
I want more PLEASE
I want more.
Love the vid, want more! I was drooling at the XPENG!!!!!!!!
You do know that propeller driven aircraft are not 'jets', right? Right?
The company Eviation classifies this aircraft as the world's first all-electric jet. Most likely they mean a "prop jet", but a jet nonetheless.
@@automotiveterritory So, you don't know that basic fact. Got it. ...and the company itself does not encourage confidence if they are stupid enough to not know that there is no such thing as an electric jet. Plane? Sure, stupid idea but okay. Jet? That takes a jet engine.
In the immortal words of Police Academy's Capt. Debbie Calahan... "I want MORE!"
"Give ME MORE!"
I will do my best, thanks!
The Honda for me!
Awesome pick!
its cute, can do aftermarket like its land vehicle siblings? 😂
You should also include Panhwar Jet. Looks like they have amazing technology which generates power for onboard and does not require heavy batteries.
I will look into this one, thanks!
i want more please
I will see what I can do, thanks!
The Lilium Jet and Blackfly are two more that are quite interesting

Glad you liked this video. Will try to have more of these coming.
An electric turboprop jet? Thatt names three different proportion systems..... sounds like marketing bs.
If it has a propeller it is NOT a jet, and if it is electric it is NOT a turbo prop. The AI voice is interesting but why not voice it yourself?
What kind of voice?

Did you not see any positives in this video except this patty stuff 😅
@@jimparke5814 I enjoy accurate factual videos.

The 500 L is absolutely amazing stuff
Problem with Jet tracer : The noise ! Much too much !

The electric ones have a ridiculously low range and boom doesn’t even an engine, let alone an airframe.
calling a twin turboprops all electric?
What would be a better term for this one?

Eviation’s Alice is not a business jet, because it is a prop plane.
People should make electric jet engine powered planes.
It would have even less range than Alice.
Why can the Gulf stream support up to 19 passengers, yet only sleeps 10? HUH?
thats because sleeping uses much more space lying down ,and different material is needed for safety precautions
Is this a robot voice? So many oddly pronounced words.
Jet racer as a gyrocopter.
Looks like you missed a big one..the AIR ONE. Check it out on our channel-AIR eVTOL
I will check it our for sure, thanks!
I see a lot of electric airplanes being lost on flights over the oceans!
I don't think that they are ready (or designed) for such long distances.
I don't see any electrical planes getting over any ocean any time soon. The Archer easily has the shortest range of any commercial plane, ever, by orders of magnitude ;-)
@@yiorgos272 Well batteries storage is increasing fast so maybe!
Xpeng is developing a new one much better .
I would like to see a cargo plane that can also dive under water.
take a look at joby aviation
Prop planes are not jets
I'll let you ride in the electric aircraft thank you very much, while I stay on the ground. lol
What made you think that electric motors are unreliable?
Ok what's Jet about the first one? Ps so a Jet has a five blade propeller now. 👎
Why isn't the cover flying boat in the video
It is in the video
haha ground effect seaplane. are conditions perfect? cool. are they not? uncool.
It's all just talk until they're actually selling the plains. Watch people lie these days to get investors.

How so?
Nothing really ground braking, mostly expensive toys for the rich.
