Or there are more options which will work so fast, responsively, competitible with GPU? if there are, please share :> I would really appreaciate. Thanks :)
Honestly, any distribution out there has the same exactly gaming performance, Fedora, OpenSUSE, Ubuntu and Manjaro are all great options, so it does come down to personal preference, however that being said I would recommend using a distribution that uses the KDE Plasma desktop environment because it automatically disables the compositor when playing games which can cause performance problems on some hardware. But if I had to recommend, I would look at Manjaro KDE Edition since you will have access to the newest software before any Ubuntu based distribution, and Manjaro has some great GUI tools to install software, no Terminal required at all. See how I set up my installation without using the Terminal once - ruclips.net/video/01KCtHcB2D0/видео.html For reference I currently use Kubuntu 20.04, since a lot of the software I use would require using the AUR in Arch, which seems to not work on my system correctly, so instead I use the Deb packages developed for Ubuntu instead.

@@IntelligentGaming2020 checked all and termianal say im using nvidia (nvidia-smi) but performance and lags are still very very bad...even when watching youtube screen stuttering...on intel graphic is normal and on windows all is fine...looks like linuxes are still in deep hole :D
Kinda part of the reason I want to get an AMD GPU, just to see if it makes that much of difference as people claim, but my nVidia GXT 1080 has not let me down yet.
@@IntelligentGaming2020 For me nVidia will always provide that one click of extra performance. But on Linux, AMD just works.
@@rockdie9522 Never used an AMD GPU on Linux, only nVidia, but in my experience once you install the proprietary nVidia driver, they just work, but each to their own :) Just use what you find best, I say.
@@IntelligentGaming2020 I found alot of benchmark videos of csgo on archlinux with a nvidia gpu with great performance. But with my amd rx 580, with all the proper packages installed like specified in the arch wiki the performance sucks. Based on what other people have told me in forums, they are experiencing the same issues. Though the amdgpu has a better out of the box experience on most distros, some games do prefer the nvidia gpu regardless of this ACO compiler.
@@alphabennyrosy5068 Unfortunately I only have a GTX 1080 so I cannot comment on performance of AMD GPUs, you might have better luck asking in the Linux4noobs subreddit.

is there protontricks on opensuse ?
It might be available in the OBS, but honestly you can do the same with Wine Tricks, it's a just a shorter command to use Proton Tricks - github.com/Matoking/protontricks
after I downloaded Steam I logged into my account and it said "steam browser is disabled"

Hey. Could you make a video on how to install vkBasalt on Ubuntu?
Maybe, its not something I've looked at before, so I'll have to do some research first.
@@IntelligentGaming2020 That'd be awesome. Its a nice feature to have but I probably speak for many of us Linux noobs when I say that it definitely isn't easy to install.
@@gottaslay8827 I agree, its not exactly something that someone not familiar with compiling could do, however you can install it with one click if you are on an Arch based distribution such as Manjaro through the AUR.

Hello, can i ask which distro is best in these days for everything? i want something lightweight, gaming, fast, responsive, like openSUSE (yesterday i tried on my medieval laptop, it's just runs smooth and fast without any lags). I know there are POP! OS, Manjaro, Solus, Fedora, Zorin. What i didn't liked in POP! OS is high ammount of ram usage. (P.S i'm using gaming laptop with i7 6700H 12b ram and ssd + nvdia) So Could you try help me to consider? i'm little bit confused. :D As i heard about Fedora and Solus is also great for gaming and has super performance. But I don't know why, i see Manjaro as the best. Is it truth?
@@IntelligentGaming2020 Hello, thank you for the informative answer. I will check your tutorial soon when i will install the Manjaro. Just a little question about nvdia drivers. As i seen there is Nvdia optimus application which let's you to switch between Hybrid, Nvdia and intel. I wan't have hybrid option always turned on. If i will install from drivers manager tool intel/nvdia hybrid driver, i will need nvdia optimus? or no? i asking because as i understand it's prepared already for hybrid graphics?
And one more question: does ubuntu/manjaro/openSUSE has different nvdia drivers? (are they released separately for their distros?) For example: if i can have specific intel/nvdia driver on Manjaro, the same version is in openSUSE and Ubuntu too? or i can have problems with it? this part is not clear to me.
@@mantasltu5811 I'm not sure on the nVidia optimus side since I do not have switchable graphics, and not much experience of them under Linux, it might be better to post that question in the Manjaro forums. The nVidia driver is the same across all distributions, the current version if 440.82 which can be installed on any distribution, it just that some distributions make it easier than others.
@@IntelligentGaming2020 thank you again so much. You helped me a lot to decide. For now i'm testing Solus OS Budgie on my old laptop, also runs smooth. First i wanna try everything to make my self sure that Manjaro is best option to me can be, then i will go with Manjaro.
Thanks bro

Yes, you can do it that way as well, I just found the easiest method was as shown in the video, using YaST.
they could make a video to configure it to make music!?
"They"?
Are you using Tumbleweed or Leap? Just wondering.
Going back a while now, but I think it was actually Leap, the non-rolling release model, when I created that video.

Yes, although some of package number versions will obviously be higher.
