You need to call this company out by name. Complete garbage! They probably ARE the company that was originally selling these items. They figured out they could sell it for more and much quicker saying it was “Unclaimed Mail” and in Mystery boxes.

I’m almost 100% sure those red boxes are the same red boxes CVS sells that have lil Christmas presents in them that are usually cheap gimmicky things like slot machines coin counter banks things like that. I think most of those are literally just last years CVS stocking stuffers

This looks like all the Christmas crap that a local Walgreens couldn't sell last year. They legit look like the "end of season" returns we'd send out from our warehouse in January.

It very likely is liquidated products that they're trying to get rid of, most of it was amazon, but, some other stuff to be sure. Really not a good deal.
I came to say the exact same thing! I worked for the Wag for 10 years and we got this crap in every single year. It could be severely discounted and no one would touch it. Inventory would tell us to send it back. Looks like we know where it goes now!

Like with the "highlighting brush", he said that this is only a paint brush, it doen't do any highlighting, where the highlights? I don't have a wife or girlfriend, but common since would tell me that they call it highlighting brush because I would think after women put on their makeup, they then use the brush with a darker colored makeup to "highlight" their eyes. I guess I know some of this because growing up back in the 90's, my mom used a lot of makeup.

56 packages for $500 you'd expect the average item to be about $9 each ... Looks like a box from the Christmas season, those are probably the generic presents companies can send workers, or cheap folks can send their friends. That and makeup and clothing are quite expensive for what they are. I'd say, if they'd been items you could use you probably got your money worth for the boxes. These are most likely items delivered during Christmas where they weren't able to be delivered for some reason, or were returned.
There are a number of shops in our area that have popped up that seemingly sell things like you got. They have some random good tech, a lot of makeup, clothing, jewelry, etc. Things come in on Thursday for $10 and every day they're in the store they become $1 cheaper, until they're either re-upgraded to $10 or thrown out it would seem (or maybe sent on to the next store).
You didn't get scammed, that's for sure (welcome to the world of expensive clothing and jewelry!) , but you didn't get anything that was valuable to you. Donate what you got to some charitable organization, and put the value down as $500 and take it off your taxes.
I think the total value of everything in all those packages could be about what he paid for it. Only thing about mystery boxes is that you don't know what you are going to get, you're only promised the total value of everything inside the box. Maybe most of those things are worthless to Tyler, but they could be worth something good for women and girls. Although he says that he got "bamboozeld".

The only mystery box videos that I have ever seen that are worth anything are the yarn boxes that one of my favorite crochet channels purchases. But, they never sent enough of any particular yarn to make a project with.
