What that person said was absolutely correct. With all due respect what you are saying, with some difficulty it seems, is not a logical way of portraying these types of scenarios. Rose colored glasses don't help people understand the reality of their choices, mate.
Don’t go to urgent care when you need the ER. My dad was a truck driver. He was extra careful to make sure his truck was safe; however he always told me to not stay behind a truck if at all possible. Stuff just comes off.
I went to the ER for a broken elbow. The insurance hounded me for a year for not going to urgent care. I should have known it was a closed fracture. Sorry I never got a medical degree people. I am not driving past the local hospital at night with a broken arm to the next town over for urgent care. Still paying off $2,000 for the ER after insurance but not going to an urgent care for a broken bone.
One of my very favorite channels. The stories are expressed with respect to the departed and their families. RIP to all who lost their lives. As for the Cellar keep up the good work!
When I was young I had a similar experience to the first story, after stabbing myself in the hand with a cactus plant while on vacation. I did the normal things but it kept getting worse. Like a dummy I waited until it got really painful before going to hospital. Fortunately it was not an unusual bacteria and responded quickly to antibiotics. I was taught a valuable lesson that day, with the opportunity to learn from it. The opportunity, only the opportunity. 😕 Sigh. . .
These stories remind me of Final Destination. When it's your time, it doesn't matter where you are or what you're doing, the Grim Reaper will come for you. I almost died from choking. I was grieving the loss of my husband. My sons were small, and I didn't want them to see me crying, so after settling them in at the dining table to eat their dinner, I took my plate in my bedroom. As I was crying and eating, I gasped in and a bite of meat became lodged in my throat. I couldn't speak, or breathe...I could feel my eyeballs popping out, and tears and sweat drenched my face. I thought about my sons...they'd lost their father and the thought of them finding me dead...no, I couldn't let that happen. I reached down with one finger and got the bite out. I think you're not supposed to do that but it was all I had, and it worked. Never cry and eat at the same time. 😏
Several years ago I was driving my brand new car on the highway. I was in the middle lane of a three lane highway. A truck in the fast lane ran over a 2x4 about 3 feet long in the road. His back passenger tire flipped it up and it went right through my windshield. It went in below my rear view mirror. I truly felt my heart stop. If it had gone in just a foot to the left I would’ve died. If not from the board then from the accident it would’ve caused. Luckily I only had to replace the windshield. That was the only damage.
Hey I had a truck with rock in it in front of me. I saw a massive rock somehow gain flight from the back of it and I shit you not, it was like slow motion watching this rock come at my driver side windshield. It hit so hard with a thud. Caused enough damage it looked like someone took a baseball bat to my windshield. I was on the highway and if it came through the windshield who knows how bad it could’ve been. You’re lucky my friend! That two by four being that close is crazy!
The first two -- absolutely devastating, my heart goes out to those women's family and friends. For the second one, I'd love to know if they found the person who neglected to adequately secure their load. They really should have been charged with involuntary manslaughter or something similar. The last two -- still tragic, but incredible lack of judgment. I feel for their families, but those two would still be alive if not for their own lack of even the most basic common sense.
In the first story about Lynn falling and cutting her leg, I knew it was going to be something about an infection in the cut. Something a little like this, but not half as severe happened to my mom a few years back. My whole family were in lower Michigan, my nephew was graduating from the University of Michigan, there were 2 different ceremonies for him that day. One with everybody that was graduating and then one for everybody graduating with that type of engineering degree. Of course the ceremonies were many hours apart. We walked many miles that day, my mom had a tiny cut in her foot and she had sandals on that day. No clue where she picked this up but she started not feeling good. As the day went on she kept feeling worse and worse, she described it as she felt like she coming down with the flu. By the time we got to the second ceremony she was froze, and very nauseous. Of course she didn’t want to say anything, she felt like she’d be ruining my nephews big day. We all went out to dinner that night and my sister and I could tell she just wasn’t feeling good, but when we asked her she’d say she was fine. She kept getting up from the table and going to the bathroom, we found out later she was throwing up. After dinner we all went back to the motel, she went right to bed. We were staying at one of those 2 story motels where you get in your room from the outside. We all had adjoining rooms. My mom and step dad, then my sister and her husband, then myself and my husband. After we all went to bed, I’m not even sure what time it was but someone was pounding in our door, it was my step dad. My mom was so so sick, she couldn’t even get out to bed to use the restroom. She had peed the bed and that is nit my mom. Thank God my step dad made her go to the ER. It was I take you right now or I’m calling an ambulance. Our rooms were all up on the second floor, and my mom couldn’t even walk. So, between the 3 men, and my mom isn’t heavy at all, but they got her to a computer type chair and the wheeled her down the balcony, then they had to lift the chair with her in it and carry her down the stairs. We didn’t know it at the time but she was knocking on heavens door as she was maybe an hour or so from dying. There was a hospital about 10 min away from where we were staying. My step dad took her, and we waited for a call. Turns out through a little cut in her foot, at least that’s what the Dr.’s figured, from all the walking that day she picked up the staph bacteria. Her one leg had blisters all over, it was really red and hot in that area of the leg. There was a red line traveling up and I’m no doctor but if I remember right if the red line traveling up her leg would have went to the heart it would have killed her. The doctors said if she wouldn’t of came in when she did she probably would have been dead within an hour. We just couldn’t believe it. She was perfectly fine in the morning and by that night she was so so sick. We were about 12 hrs from home but they kept her in the hospital for 2 or 3 nights. She had a pretty long recovery when she got home then too. It’s been quite a few years now but I think it took her all of 2 if not more weeks to recover. My mom doesn’t like to take an ibuprofen but she was hurting that bad that she actually took pain meds in the hospital and fir a few days after she got home. Sorry for the long story but I felt it was important to tell the whole story as that’s so scary to me that you can get that sick from something in a matter of hours to the point it could have killed her. I also believe if it wasn’t for my step dad threatening her with either I drive you now or I call an ambulance I’d be telling a story with a whole different outcome. My mom is so bullheaded when it comes to going to the Dr.’s when you really need too. She’s always “fine”.
My husband went through the exact same thing as story one, to a degree. Luckily!! He’s still here with me. Noticed a swelling, and redness to his wrist, had developed a knot the size of half of a golf ball, some days after we were fishing. Fast forward, went to doc, sent straight to an entire team of doc in the infectious disease dept at Duke. They were quick, surgery, then 6 months of a massive cocktail of antibiotics to combat the necrotizing fasciitis that had been the secondary cause for the swelling and lump on his wrist/arm., MRSA, being the prime culprit. Weekly checkups for the first 2 months, then monthly for the last 4, till he was finally cleared. He still has his hand, and full use of it and his wrist. Having known a girl who went To school with our daughters, and her father lost his arm to the exact same thing, he was a commercial fisherman. We know how truly lucky my husband was! Thank you for sharing! It’s information everyone needs, but sadly few have ever heard of!

Yet another horrible but awesome video!! All I can hope is hopefully, before too much pain came on, they were already dead or unconscious. I can’t imagine these situations. I used to go to the beach every summer when I was little and of course I get scrapes and cuts but never in my wildest thoughts did I think about it being anymore than simply a cut or scrape. The bar into the throat one was right out of Final Destination!! Thankfully she likely didn’t feel a thing but I can’t imagine being the driver of the car and having that happen. One can`t escape ffate. Some ppl yet seem to invite trouble and danger into their lives by acting absolutely careless and reckless. Sorry for all the ppl that lost their lives here, may they RIP.
It seems wrong somehow to say what a great upload due to the nature of the content 😮 but as a factual documentary its fab as is always standard from your channel 😊
I was in the hospital for almost 3 weeks, 2 years ago with an infection in my leg. It was swollen to almost 3 times it’s size because of a scratch that turned into MRSA. Because I’m diabetic they were worried it would turn into necrotizing fasciitis but thankfully with 2 weeks of IV antibiotics and a ton of prayer from across the country, it didn’t! And I’m here today! The things they were planning if things didn’t turn around were HORRIFYING! Including amputation! The SECOND time God saved my life...10 years before I suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm and 2 strokes! When I woke up after a 2 week coma I had to relearn EVERYTHING from swallowing to talking and of course walking! It’s safe to say that He has plans for me! So sorry that it took this poor old lady out so quickly! It’s sad to say but at least she (and her son and fam) got to spend such a wonderful time together before it happened. I’m sure it’s a trip they had been talking about for years!
Wow that’s unbelievable what you went through and lived to talk about! Glad you overcame and yes, at least she got a final week with her son and family. Just horrible how things can go horribly wrong so quickly
Situation awareness is absolutely what any driver or passenger should have. You can be the best driver in the world, but it is the other drivers that will kill you if they aren't paying attention. If the drivers that caused all of these fatalities had even a smidgen of common sense, they wouldn't have been on the road, or they would have secured their loads... It all comes down to common sense. Even a good driver having a medical episode will run the car off the road or slow or stop somehow. Edit to say that stupid is as stupid does. Maybe the people that issue these drivers their licence should be held accountable. Watch the idiot level, causing these fatalities drop.
Hello, I kind of know where the t top car accident was. I’m from eastern Kentucky. I’m don’t drive but I know that trying to change places while driving is idiotic. I can’t imagine how awful it felt for the lady who died from necrotizing fasciitis. My mom had necrotizing fasciitis but she didn’t pass from it.
The channels overlay of their logo on top of the entire screen is very distracting. A better option would be a smaller logo on the right side bottom of the screen. The reason for being on the right is, it won't be covered by closed caption text. It could also be placed at either top corner. The bottom would look more professional & dignified. Previous Graphic Designer here. Take suggestion as you wish.
Thanks, I think I got a little carried away with how much I used it in this video. Sometimes I like the look and aesthetic of it and I use it with news footage at times. Thanks for the suggestion! I can see how it can be distracting
We loose one or two folks a year here in Texas to the flesh eating bacteria. Most times it’s a hardcore fisherman. Every once in awhile it’s just someone on a day out having fun.
@@TheCellarTrueCrime it’s the heat… you can literally smell when the water isn’t heathy. So many folks live on the waterways with irrigation systems and pets… all that runoff of fertilizer and waste, added with the Texas heat just makes for a deadly stagnant soup… there’s literally times when you can’t consume oysters, the living filters of our oceans because they’re full of…. You guessed it…. Bacteria’s and viruses….
Two of these stories are literally f-k around and find out. Switching seats while driving-dumb decision. Jumping into beyond boiling pools of water-dumb decision. No sympathy from me for those involved
😂 I could’ve said that better, but the park is infamous for deaths within there hot springs. I knew what was thinking, just didn’t say it as clearly as it could have been said lol
Switching seats WHILE DRIVING?! THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE for that very poor decision.
Yeah can’t really defend that one at all
Yea but come on if you never did anything that could of got you killed 25 yo or younger that's rare and amazing
Most um sheltered people have at least once did something dumb that could of killed them but luckily did not

Lynn being impaled the pipe is a true freak accident. I hope she didnt suffer. That really is some Final Destination type stuff.
I thought of that intro from final destination 2, that’s for sure
You guys totally read my mind. Thas was the first thing I thought of.
I'm sure it was fast as it probably hit an artery. She would've bled out quickly 🫤 that's so sad tho.... there one minute, gone the next. ❤️🩹
Wow crazy!
Thanks to everyone waiting for the premiere!
Thanks for spreading awareness on flesh eating disease 😱

It’s safe to say that He has plans for me!
So sorry that it took this poor old lady out so quickly! It’s sad to say but at least she (and her son and fam) got to spend such a wonderful time together before it happened. I’m sure it’s a trip they had been talking about for years!
Wow that’s unbelievable what you went through and lived to talk about! Glad you overcame and yes, at least she got a final week with her son and family. Just horrible how things can go horribly wrong so quickly
As tragic as these are they can be a lesson.
LOVE the new intro,positive energy.🌻
Thank you 😊 glad you like it!
Thought the same, it was cool before but the theme/track fits way better^^
Oh no man !!!
I always want just one more story 📖
Then I think I’m doing my job well! 😂
I think theres probably more missing people in those hot springs in Yellowstone and they didnt accidently fall in😮
Would not doubt it one teeny tiny bit
❤❤❤❤❤from England
Hello, I kind of know where the t top car accident was. I’m from eastern Kentucky. I’m don’t drive but I know that trying to change places while driving is idiotic. I can’t imagine how awful it felt for the lady who died from necrotizing fasciitis. My mom had necrotizing fasciitis but she didn’t pass from it.
Thanks for sharing, glad your mom pulled through in the end!
@@TheCellarTrueCrime well she died of lung cancer with necrotizing fasciitis as a contributing factor. Thank you though. I miss her
The channels overlay of their logo on top of the entire screen is very distracting.
Awesome new introoooo ❤❤
Glad you like it!
The first car story gives me Final Destination vibes. The second car story is just stupidity at it's finest.
Excited
😢😢🙏🙏❤️❤️ thank you love T C
❤️
You are gonna blow up, man. 👍
I hope so! Views been down lately. Hopefully RUclips gives me a break 😂
@@TheCellarTrueCrime Just keep grinding man, Sometimes it just takes time.
I hope they got a refund for the antibiotics
The 1st and 2nd story are both Lynn Flemmings???????
Yes they are
🙏🌍🏥🩺🩻🔬
That's life.
❤
Couple of nominees for the Darwin Awards, here.
@@Hbinky lol
It's becoming more and more prevalent. Makes for good content though 😅
Love the new intro glad the old one is gone
Glad you enjoy the new one!
Awh I like both!
We loose one or two folks a year here in Texas to the flesh eating bacteria. Most times it’s a hardcore fisherman. Every once in awhile it’s just someone on a day out having fun.
That’s terrible and it seems like cases are increasing every year
@@TheCellarTrueCrime it’s the heat… you can literally smell when the water isn’t heathy.
@@TheCellarTrueCrime great vid I might add…
How does a leather/plastic wallet and a pair of thongs survive that heat?
2 Lynn flemmings???
Found a second one when researching the first one, figured I had to cover both when I discovered two people with the same name suffered crazy ends
The intro? 😢😢
Fate is actually 1 to 3 Goddesses depending on where you look. 😊
Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos!
@@TheCellarTrueCrime You are a gentleman and a scholar sir. ☺️😉
Goes to show, a college degree does not equate to intelligence.
Street smarts vs book smarts
You'd have be some dip-shit to swap driver and passenger when going 70mph... I mean... Darwin awards are a thing
Yeah not the smoothest move
Two of these stories are literally f-k around and find out. Switching seats while driving-dumb decision. Jumping into beyond boiling pools of water-dumb decision. No sympathy from me for those involved
I just don’t understand why you send condolences to the person that passed. It doesn’t make sense to me. Other than that, I love your content!
shorten the intro please
😝👍
Better intro the other one was awful lol
I love you
Well thanks for the ❤️
infamous park?!?! i think you might do well to take a course in gramar. i need a course in spelling lol
😂 I could’ve said that better, but the park is infamous for deaths within there hot springs. I knew what was thinking, just didn’t say it as clearly as it could have been said lol
I'm going to be at work by then, but I'll watch it when I get home..
Thanks in advance, The Cellar..💖
Appreciate it!
Switching drivers at 70mph is some crazy dukes of hazard stuff. I wish i knew what made them decide to do that at such an unsafe speed. ❤️🩹
Yeah… example of younger adults thinking there invincible in a lot of ways
@@TheCellarTrueCrime I guess we were all that way once. Some of us were just luckier than others. Thank you for the content❤️
