    The saddest part about Joseph’s story is that the only time in his entire life he was treated well was on death row by other inmates and a warden.

    I was in tears listening to Joseph's story. I have four special needs siblings. Even though they have their difficulties they are still human. So was Joseph. My heart aches for that young man. He was innocent and the justice system didn't care. I don't know why they call it a justice system because most of the time it's injustice it delivers. No matter what impairment he had it didn't stop him from having feelings. He was still human and that is what needs to be enforced. He was a HUMAN with a HEARTBEAT. Prayers and condolences go out to his family and friends. I hope he is in a better place. Rest easy man. You are loved

    Three interesting facts about Joseph's case. First the sister that survived wouldnt point the finger at Joseph as she knew he wasnt the one that hurt her or killed her sister. Second of all the warden would take Joseph home to his owm family for dinners. Joseph absolutely loved the warden's wife's homemade ice cream. The ice cream that Joseph was served before his execution was the homemade ice cream from the warden's wife. Third before Joseph was executed, he gave his beloved toy train to another inmate that he became friends with.

    Joseph's story is actually one personal reason as to why I never moved anywhere as further west as Texas and don't ever plan to anytime. One of the truths to why Colorado is dubbed as officially one of the most dangerous US states only lies half within the high crime rate from its citizens, but even worst of all, its own "justice" system. My heart goes out a full one hundred to both Joseph and his family.

      Which is why lots of people want the de*th penalty out, bc poor people and especially limited individuals get railroaded into a confession bc they're told that if they confess they can all go home!

    While I have heard the story of Joseph Arridy, I am reminded that it took being convinced of murder and sentenced to death, in order to meet Roy Best. One of the only people he ever met who treated him like a person. If the story sounds familiar; it should. It was Stephen King’s inspiration for The Green Mile.

      To each their own. I watched some of her stuff and she had a good sense of humor and I thought she had a grounded point of view. Do looks help when it comes to any kind of media? Of course, but relating to people and have a good sense of humor are needed to take it to the next level.

    It’s awful what happened to Emily, but her sexual advice is awfully harmful. Many can’t have sex daily for disability reasons. Watching porn is harmful and in my eyes cheating. She seems like the type to push sex over love which is what almost brought me to suicide multiple times as a message😢.

    • @TheCellarTrueCrime
      @TheCellarTrueCrime  5 месяцев назад +1

      Well I think it’s preference and belief driven. Just because someone gives their advice doesn’t mean it’s suitable for every individual or situation. A lot of her content was made for people to laugh and have fun with. But I don’t agree with everything Emily said, same as I don’t believe or agree with everything you stated in your comment. I don’t think differing opinions, thoughts, or ideas are necessarily harmful though. Unless those ideas or thoughts are hate fueled in nature. Every person should think, and do what’s best for themselves at the end of the day.

    that first video coverage, emily?
    never heard of her, and after watching some of her content, clearly an acquired taste.
    if your bar for 'real problems' is set that low, i see why she flown under my radar.
    still, shame what happened to her but i can't claim to care outside the fact loss of life is never a good thing.
    i'm from england btw.

    Mr. B&B was interesting at first. I enjoyed his strolls. Sunday walks with no depth, just listening to him while looking at the locals. But i grew tired of the same rather snarky comments. Condescending, a typical Brit among the peasantry. And he has this thing he does which is like a sneer, smirk, upturned-nose thing, after his quips.
    Others do what he does but in a more engaging manner. It’s the idiosyncratic sneer that got me not watching much.

      Thanks for sharing. I’ve watched some of his content but found it to be long winded at times. Feels like stories are being dragged on for run time. He’s good at what he does tho overall obviously
