Many times it was because lower income families are more likely to have issues with being able to shop at actual grocery stores whether due to transportation or location or long work hours. So they end up getting food from local convienence stores. He didnt intend for it to be taken as a dig at overweight people or even those on welfare
And honestly, even if he didn't mean it like that, I feel like it's a valid point, even if it feels a little mean, that morbidly obese people paying for food with food stamps feels kinda wrong or counter productive, idk.

. my hubby started a school bus business over 45 yrs ago... 1 bus.. made it into the largest bus company in our state.. working 90 plus hours a week... The buck stopped with him.. everything was on his shoulders.. 220 employees and their families depended on him .. he couldn't sleep at night sometimes from the pressure.. He sold the business about 8 yrs ago .. and the government is taxing him to death now because he actually made some money.. why is that fair. He will 68 2 days from now.. and now his biggest problem is trying to keep the government from taxing him TRIPLE at this point..Because he worked his butt off his entire life he's being punished, almost, because he was successful.. Something is wrong.

Seniors like my self can't have a wellness pet because we can't afford a vet bill, which they make u get them shots and God forbid they get sick. Have to listen to all of them together. He had his first number 1 song in the U.K. recently

. my hubby started a school bus business over 45 yrs ago... 1 bus.. made it into the largest bus company in our state.. working 90 plus hours a week... The buck stopped with him.. everything was on his shoulders.. 220 employees and their families depended on him .. he couldn't sleep at night sometimes from the pressure.. He sold the business about 8 yrs ago .. and the government is taxing him to death now because he actually made some money.. why is that fair. He will 68 2 days from now.. and now his biggest problem is trying to keep the government from taxing him TRIPLE at this point..Because he worked his butt off his entire life he's being punished, almost, because he was successful.. Something is wrong.
Please thank your husband for providing a service that allowed many children over generations to transport safely to school. Unfortunately, this is where the American dream can turn into a nightmare. It's also where songs like this and people speak up. Hopefully, one day, it will provide the spark of true change. To where stories like that you have shared are no longer a normalcy.
