Dr. Joe DeMarco, chiropractor and owner of OcraMed Health, demonstrates how to stretch and perform self massage on the sternocleidodomastoid (SCM) muscle of your neck.
The SCM muscle can become very tight for a variety of reasons. To much computer work, using our phones too much, a bad pillow, etc. When the SCM tightens up it can result in neck stiffness/pain. It can also result in your head translating forward.
In today's video, I demonstrate how to perform self massage on your SCM muscle. This is followed by an awesome stretch for your SCM which is simple and easy to perform.
