It still os working for me. However when the batteries go dead the swamp cooler will not kick on and will overheat. There needs to be a fail safe. I would not recommend for a cooling application.
It worked flawlessly for about 3 months. Afterwards it stopped turning on the swamp cooler. It does not default to on so my greenhouse overheated for a day. I was able to warranty the product thru the manufacturer and it has been working fine ever since.
@@420alt A little disappointing to hear but nice to see the next one is on track to work fine. Did you ever test, ie feel, randomly if the wall outlet component was overheating since is wasn't rated for 15 amps but 14 amps? I don't think the instructions says it has an internal fuse to change. I believe I asked that question at amazon and digiten said no. Mine is working great but only had it for a week and set to not to get close to maxing close to the 14 amps or for long.
@@bobp5715 I haven't checked it for that specific purpose but it never felt hot to the touch that I remember. I never measured the amps though. I am now going to use it for a heater. Hopefully it works out just fine.
Thank you for the great info on these ,currently in the process of buying one ,so this was very helpful ,thanks!!
No problem! Time for me to make an updated video. I found a better controller now.
I returned mine. it did not work out of the box. There are much better units available.
Yes! I have to agree. I have one now that controls humidity also. It costed more, but way better. Worth the cost imo.
@@420alt can you share the link to the new one you got? Thanks

Mine beeps. What does that indicate?
Not sure. I have never heard mine beep, but I do not stick around my greenhouse very long.
How did it work after a week or so? Everything you wanted from it or had to return it, ie stop using it?
