Thing is, Manipulator isn't a vocoder, it's a frequency shifter. It has a function for MIDI, but all that does it take MIDI information and try to map the pitches to it. Vocoders on the other hand use a carrier, which is a dedicated sound that has it's own actual sound, which is used to "carry" the modulator. Nevertheless, this still sounds great and I love the sound! 💚

I thought, "Man, I wish he would play that with the change so I could hear what it sounds like, but I'm sure he will skip it". But you didn't skip it... you played it back post-modification! Please don't ever change your style of explaining the details. It is perfect.
finally a vocoder that provides the sound I'm looking for, tried a lot of free vocoder plugins and stock ones on logic and then I have vocalsynth from izotope which is good but cant get the sound I'm going for. Manipulator really has that professional vocoder sound that popular DJ's use like Zedd as mentioned. little pricey though
