EXACTLY! Exactly! Especially since the demand is just not there anymore for Be Our Guest since they changed the lunch, you can basically walk up during the day and be seated. If they had one menu item, okay, but six?! I'm 1000% with you I don't know who this is for at all, especially with so many other food offerings available. We do need to know!!

It does seem to get earlier and earlier every year doesn't it? At least the decorations are only on Main Street in Magic Kingdom so you probably won't see too much Halloween while you're visiting!
It really was! I was surprised. They also had Skeleton Dance and some other older Halloween cartoons. I had no idea they did that until we went in last year!

Hi! I'm sure they will have gluten free options but unfortunately the food guide they released didn't specify which items are GF. My sister is celiac so I was going to keep an eye out for her once the party starts on Friday and hopefully more information is available - I made a note to come back here to you as well and let you know what I find! For trick or treating, you would just need to ask a cast member for an allergy-friendly trick or treat bag (they're teal) and then you'll get tokens at trick or treat spots that can be redeemed at Allergy-Friendly Centers the Liberty Square Ticket Office (7pm-midnight) and Chamber of Commerce (7pm-12:30am). This year the allergy friendly sponsor is Safe + Fair Food Company. They may be able to help re. the menus at the allergy center. Also, quick service dinner will be available at 6 locations around Magic Kingdom - if they have their regular dinner menus during the party they definitely have gluten free options!
Hi there! Looping back around on this regarding gluten free options. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like there are many exclusive / speciality treats that are designated as GF. I believe the Dole Whip and slushy offerings at Aloha Isle / Storybook Treats etc can be modified to be gluten free (cup instead of cone, maybe omit toppings depending). Additionally, some quick service locations have their full dinner menu during the party with GF options- Pecos Bill, Pinocchio Village Haus, and Cosmic Ray's definitely have options, albeit not party exclusive. All food locations also have binders with full ingredients to clarify allergens. I hope this helps!
First time going to the party with my son we are so excited! You spoke about photopass is that included with the ticket? Or do we purchase the memory maker?
Yay! I'm sure you're going to have a great time. Unfortunately, Memory Maker / PhotoPass isn't included in the cost of the ticket so you would have to purchase Memory Maker if you wanted to download your photos from the party. If you buy Memory Maker in advance it costs a bit less than buying it during / on your vacation. They also offer "Memory Maker One Day" but if you're going to use it for 3 or more days on your vacation it's a better value to buy the regular Memory Maker than the One Day. Only one person in your party needs to purchase because you're able to download photos for your Friends & Family list- at least that's been my experience! Hopefully this is helpful - have a great time at the party!
Is the special merch, like t-shirts, available in the day, or does it only come out during the event hours? I've not been before and i vaguely remember that area being closed off in the shop in main street last year. 🎃👻
The event-exclusive merch is only available during the event! You should be able to find it at the Emporium on Main Street and Star Traders in Tomorrowland. Sometimes it’s available from 4pm-7pm before the party officially starts, you just have to show your wristband in the store to enter the area with the exclusive merch. Can’t wait to see what they have this year! 🎃
I’m not! I worked in entertainment at Disney World in 2008-2010 - I did the college program and then stayed on seasonally until I went back to finish college- but not a current cast member. Thank you for making and sharing this video. I am attending my first MNSSHP in September and I am feeling a little stressed, so this video has helped me! A few questions I have for anyone who has been and could answer. I read that there are no ride and character wait times posted on the app during the party, is that true? Other questions regarding food, I also read that there is nowhere to buy food between 6-7? Want to know if that is true so I can plan that into my schedule. Last question, are the menu items in this video extra things that will be added on the menus and the regular dinner items and snacks typically sold at those locations will also be available or is this the only food that will be available during the party. Thanks so much for anyone who answers my questions! :)
Hi, thank you so much for watching! The party is so much fun, I think even with all the planning once you get there you’ll have a great time. The past two years there have been wait times for rides in the app during the party but no wait times for characters. I usually just sort of play characters by ear unless they’re a high priority for you because they could eat up a lot of time. Oftentimes, the cast members there can give you an approximate wait time when you get in line for a character which definitely helps!
Regarding the food questions, this year Disney said the quick service locations will be open for dinner but I think until the first party we won’t know exactly how it will work. In years past, some of the quick service locations would close from 6-7 to switch to the party menu, and others would check wristbands before you can go in and it varied place to place. I think in saying that select quick service locations will be open for dinner that the exclusive items would be additional on top of the regular dinner menu, but I can’t be 100% sure until the parties start next week. I made a note for myself to come back to you with more info after we go to our party in August since you’re going in September so I’ll let you know once I know!
Hi! Looping back around to this after our party. Ride times were listed in the app during the party but no character wait times. Jack & Sally and Mickey do have wait times posted outside their meet and greet location. Food locations were open between 6 and 7! Some locations actually started serving exclusive party food a bit early before 7pm since the park closes to day guests at 6pm. Regular dinner options were also available on top of party exclusive offerings at some locations - Disney has full menus up on My Disney Experience, but quick service locations that seem to have dinner menus as well as exclusives included Casey's Corner, Pecos Bill, Pinocchio Village Haus, and Cosmic Ray's. Hope this is helpful and that you have fun at the party!

Will they have anything gluten free
Hi! I'm sure they will have gluten free options but unfortunately the food guide they released didn't specify which items are GF. My sister is celiac so I was going to keep an eye out for her once the party starts on Friday and hopefully more information is available - I made a note to come back here to you as well and let you know what I find!
For trick or treating, you would just need to ask a cast member for an allergy-friendly trick or treat bag (they're teal) and then you'll get tokens at trick or treat spots that can be redeemed at Allergy-Friendly Centers the Liberty Square Ticket Office (7pm-midnight) and Chamber of Commerce (7pm-12:30am). This year the allergy friendly sponsor is Safe + Fair Food Company. They may be able to help re. the menus at the allergy center. Also, quick service dinner will be available at 6 locations around Magic Kingdom - if they have their regular dinner menus during the party they definitely have gluten free options!

Hi there! Looping back around on this regarding gluten free options. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like there are many exclusive / speciality treats that are designated as GF. I believe the Dole Whip and slushy offerings at Aloha Isle / Storybook Treats etc can be modified to be gluten free (cup instead of cone, maybe omit toppings depending). Additionally, some quick service locations have their full dinner menu during the party with GF options- Pecos Bill, Pinocchio Village Haus, and Cosmic Ray's definitely have options, albeit not party exclusive. All food locations also have binders with full ingredients to clarify allergens. I hope this helps!

You spoke about photopass is that included with the ticket? Or do we purchase the memory maker?
Yay! I'm sure you're going to have a great time. Unfortunately, Memory Maker / PhotoPass isn't included in the cost of the ticket so you would have to purchase Memory Maker if you wanted to download your photos from the party. If you buy Memory Maker in advance it costs a bit less than buying it during / on your vacation. They also offer "Memory Maker One Day" but if you're going to use it for 3 or more days on your vacation it's a better value to buy the regular Memory Maker than the One Day. Only one person in your party needs to purchase because you're able to download photos for your Friends & Family list- at least that's been my experience!

Is the special merch, like t-shirts, available in the day, or does it only come out during the event hours? I've not been before and i vaguely remember that area being closed off in the shop in main street last year. 🎃👻
The event-exclusive merch is only available during the event! You should be able to find it at the Emporium on Main Street and Star Traders in Tomorrowland. Sometimes it’s available from 4pm-7pm before the party officially starts, you just have to show your wristband in the store to enter the area with the exclusive merch. Can’t wait to see what they have this year! 🎃

I’m not! I worked in entertainment at Disney World in 2008-2010 - I did the college program and then stayed on seasonally until I went back to finish college- but not a current cast member. I just love doing research and putting together all the info I can find! So glad you found the video informative
Thank you for making and sharing this video. I am attending my first MNSSHP in September and I am feeling a little stressed, so this video has helped me! A few questions I have for anyone who has been and could answer. I read that there are no ride and character wait times posted on the app during the party, is that true? Other questions regarding food, I also read that there is nowhere to buy food between 6-7? Want to know if that is true so I can plan that into my schedule. Last question, are the menu items in this video extra things that will be added on the menus and the regular dinner items and snacks typically sold at those locations will also be available or is this the only food that will be available during the party. Hi, thank you so much for watching! The party is so much fun, I think even with all the planning once you get there you’ll have a great time. The past two years there have been wait times for rides in the app during the party but no wait times for characters. I usually just sort of play characters by ear unless they’re a high priority for you because they could eat up a lot of time. Oftentimes, the cast members there can give you an approximate wait time when you get in line for a character which definitely helps!
Regarding the food questions, this year Disney said the quick service locations will be open for dinner but I think until the first party we won’t know exactly how it will work. In years past, some of the quick service locations would close from 6-7 to switch to the party menu, and others would check wristbands before you can go in and it varied place to place. I think in saying that select quick service locations will be open for dinner that the exclusive items would be additional on top of the regular dinner menu, but I can’t be 100% sure until the parties start next week. I made a note for myself to come back to you with more info after we go to our party in August since you’re going in September so I’ll let you know once I know!

Hi! Looping back around to this after our party. Ride times were listed in the app during the party but no character wait times. Jack & Sally and Mickey do have wait times posted outside their meet and greet location. Food locations were open between 6 and 7! Some locations actually started serving exclusive party food a bit early before 7pm since the park closes to day guests at 6pm. Regular dinner options were also available on top of party exclusive offerings at some locations - Disney has full menus up on My Disney Experience, but quick service locations that seem to have dinner menus as well as exclusives included Casey's Corner, Pecos Bill, Pinocchio Village Haus, and Cosmic Ray's.
