Sugarcane Run Part 2 exploring fields and Ol US27

We find our way through wide open fields of bright green sugarcane. Then find ourselves following the network of train tracks to finally get out of the maze of fields and onto the closed section of US27.
The closed off sections of US27 were challenging. The broken asphalt had pot wholes hidden underneath the overgrown grass in combination with steep crown of the road made those sections more difficult than the sections of access roads of the sugarcane fields.
We ended the first half of our ride at Jalapeños in Clewiston for lunch.
