Best instruction on playing 3 string on youtube !! bought one about a year ago, played it a little and sat it over in the corner. then I ran across one of your videos and it inspired me to pick mine up again, so it goes to show its all about the teacher and the style of teaching . Thanks your videos are great keep them coming .

I'm trying to learn to play one of these. Tried a 6 string 30 odd years ago but failed, so I'm trying to follow your videos. Thanks for sharing.

I've found the learning curve on these to way up there. Much less complicated, but..... Many of the same challenges exist, like practice time. Best of luck. Let me know how you do. It will help me in designing my lessons. Thanks

Love it mark! One question, what would you say is the best use of practice time for the complete beginner? Cheers

      My thoughts,
      1. always warm up for 5 min.... scales chord changes or some such
      2. decide on 3 easy 2-3 chord songs. no more no less.
      3. Work on those 3 until you are proficient.
      4. Your warm up can include the chord changes/solos for the songs you have.
      5. when proficient with 3, find 3 more and start the process over.
      6. Now you have 3 in the hopper and working on 3 more.
      7. when you have 6 songs get 3 more
      8. When you have 9 your ready for Open Mics.
      9. Your best 3 of 9 are your mini set
