    "What has happened to Rashford this season"?????
    Mate, that should have been asked last season when he actually played well. He's returned to his bang average self this season. It's actually criminal that they try compare him to Mbappe when he scores a few goals, when he's really just a glorified Martial

    • @MrXaphus
      @MrXaphus 7 месяцев назад +1

      Its not his age that he gets protected for - he gets protected by the club because he's a local Manchester player and his story is a symbol of what the club should always strive to produce, and he gets protected by the media because of his stand against the government, rightly or wrongly, makes him more than just a footballer (and when you're a global icon for many aspiring black youngsters in the UK and beyond, the media can't just let a black role model of that calibre be seen to fall short or fail). The easiest way all this can go away is he applies himself to his job and also distances himself from any bad influences that are leading him to make these kinds of decisions, because his stalled carreer doesn't just affect him anymore, as a role model.

      I’m curious, why do you think someone should be happy, or not stressed, etc just because they have money? Today, I have more money than I’ve ever had, but am I happier than I was 30 years ago? No I would say I’m less happy….I’ve met many wealthy people in my time who can’t get through the day without a bottle of booze….happiness is about much more than money.
      Rashford has made his situation worse - but I wouldn’t trade places with him….I would hate the spotlight, intrusion, and media pressure that comes with being who he is. The fact that you refer to the guy as Trashford makes my point.

My friend asked for a picture with Rashford to which he politely replied 'not in here'. If it happened back then, its probably happened quite a lot up to this point. It would explain his trajectory as a footballer being extremely volatile. Thats my opinion on the matter anyway!
    Its a shame because he has the ability to be world class, but he clearly has some underlying issues in regards to his discipline as a professional.

    He needs to look at himself in the mirror, he’s basically the poster boy of the club, academy graduate, community icon, England international. 3. To say ETH doesn’t speak the language is hilarious when Rashford had the season of his life last season under Eriks guidance but now has gone Big Time Charlie it’s ETH’s fault.
    4. To say his message on discipline or standards is unclear is pathetic ask Sancho, Greenwood, Varane, Garnacho and even Rashford previously it’s his way or the high way no more player power.
