That first scene I was wondering why certain parts were blurred out! 😂 It seems like you really like Guatemala - I have to agree it definitely has a nice charm. Breakfast looked pretty awesome as does your little apartment. Have fun, Matt!
Hi, Matt I applaud you for your energy and enthusiasm throughout the film. Did you have difficult time to rouse a travel-weary body from the comphy bed and immerse yourself in the town? You look exhilarated by revisiting Guatemala. You nailed it. BTW, nice suntan with a hat. You take care. I would like to appreciate you for dropping by K7S. We never meant to film it for making a film, but so many families and friends are asking for information since they cannot reach out their love ones. We currently self-evacuated to FL. No water, no gas, no power, no internet nor cell service, food shortage, and curfew at 7:30 as we left the city. I thought I might leave my car on the highway without knowing where we can find gas. I will be away from home for antoher several weeks till the water system gets restored in the city. Now I have to prepare for antoher hurricane approaching. I may lose the power.
Hi Matt, it was great you met another RUclipsr on your journey! 👍😀Loved the sign on the bus bathroom "Only for pi$$ing!" 😂All the food looked good as did your accommodation. Safe travels and take care ❤😊
That ride midway was actually quite stunning, especially as you had the sunrise colors. And again, interesting people you chat with along with delicious food. I don't know how you do it Matt, I've been on a number of trips recently and I can say, traveling is tiring af. Hahaha! This was an awesome adventure and thanks for sharing the "real" experience, challenging long transit. Definitely, it's not always glam.
Wow, it does look well flooded! It’s certainly seen a fair share of rain. Safety instructions. Hate them, particularly on planes, how many times do we need to see them? Meat pies, lovely! Nice RUclipsr chance meet up! Thats a quality coach, bet it’s a relief it’s only for number ones being sat that close to it! 4th time in 2 years? That’s good going! Looks even wetter than where you left! Village of hills, interesting. Nice that you can get much more for your money there. Great value hearty meals. This is a long day, you must have been exhausted later! The square looked mostly nice. The apartment looks lovely and a great price too! 👍
Hi Matt, looked as tho it had put some rain down there. No breakfast is not good, that would make me grumpy. Silver lining not going to right the bus station tho picking up some meat pies. Cool meeting up with another RUclipsr. You're classed as the expert now. The bus looked pretty comfy and great not many people on it unlike the second one. That cafe breakfast looked good but one to drive the blood sugar levels up. Probably much needed after the long journey. I'd say good idea swerving the pay per hour place, it looked dodgy. £18 a night...now that did look a bargain 👍
Hello Mat.. this must be an exciting trip for you to take. 27 Hours from Caye Caulker to Guatemala city. Really full of challenges and exciting experiences. Thanks for sharing.
No-one seems to have the spirit of adventure like you do Matt: you are amazing. The greater the adventure the more you like it! what an amazing guy you are - I just wish you were not so handsome when I am not!! lol!!
Hey Matt., another great video, its lovely to see your positivity when travelling even when you have Irish weather, love your humour, safe travels and looking forward to the next adventure.
Awesome trip and long bus ride😊 love it!!! the dog sleeping and all the beauty around. I was waiting for the ladies to call you pasale guerito.. Hope you had a long siesta 🙏
Hi Matt, your new YT mate seems like a nice guy. You could maybe give him some Spanish lessons 😁 Travelling over there seems like an adventure in itself, always meeting interesting folk. And your apartment looked great, I bet you had a good kip after that journey! All the best and looking forward to the next installment. 😎
Brill Matt loved this one mate this time the travel felt like a kind of behind the sceans episode (cool that ) a day in the life of Matt🤠👌🏻 Nice to see your sombrero mate 🤠🤠 ATB and stay safe Simon 👍🤠
Cheers Simon, that's exactly what I was going for, something like a behind-the-scenes kinda thing! The sombrero is still going strong 💪🤠 have a great weekend mate!
Ahh Guatemala! Tis a rather different scenario to Belize. However, Delia Smith, your food reviews were excellent :) And the food looks awesome. Another lovely video, can't wait for the next one
Rough but interesting journey. We have had fun wandering between bus stations in the past in some interesting places. I know just how tiring days like this can be. Some buses more comfortable than others and for me they are always too hot at night. I remember one that had sheets of metal covering holes in the floor(Aswan to Edfu). Fun to meet up with another RUclipsr and get his thoughts. I am sure that after this journey there would be some sleep to catch up with. Best wishes once more.
I can imagine those Egyptian bus rides were an adventure! I love travel like this. For me the journey means more than the destination. Even if it is sometimes exhausting 😅 these days if I take a 3 hour bus ride I'm sad when I have to get off. Thankfully these coaches have air con though, unlike some of the old school buses I've used recently in Central America.
I loved the main square cathedral, creo que asi se dice jajaj fue muy imponente como fondo en tu video y que se ve verdecita , éxito ya sabes que deseo que sigas encontranso gente linda en tu camino ✨️.
A lot different from Gravesend. 😉😂. ( I live in-between Rochester & Gravo 😮) I really enjoyed watching all of the Kent coast. I’m actually going to walk around Sheppey next year 👍 Glad you are living the dream. You are an inspiration to many. 👏😊
Viajar mucho tiempo al extranjero te fortalece el estómago. Creo que estás acostumbrado a la variedad de especias y a las largas horas de viaje. I hope that's the right phrases. Decent accommodation and foods overall.
That's one interesting coach toilet. I completely rate your ability to survive ridiculously long bus journeys - definitely something I couldn't do! How much sleep did you manage in the end?
Looks like you have that bus all to yourself. I hope you didn’t vomit in the sink. Cool finding and hanging out with another RUclipsr. Nice apartment at the end. It looks like you have a lot more room than the hostels. 👍67
The colour of you 😂❤ 21 hours..😮 u must have been exhausted dont u.every get irritable ? Or does the excitement keep u going...lovely travelling companion. Do you ever watch the television at night because of course you can understand it ..
I get irritable sometimes but not really when I'm travelling...maybe it would've been different if I had someone snoring next to me 😅 I don't really watch TV apart from sometimes documentaries and sports, if I have a TV where I'm staying then I'll watch, if not no problem 😁
Bread pudding 😂 yum ..anything you miss food wise in uk..roast dinner, yes..I used to miss the chocolate and the tea.. There was a silly remark about you always eating, in another video but it's not as though you can pop into the kitchen and get something, you don't really know where you're going to eat next..so of course you're going to grab when you can.
Roast dinner not really tbh although I do miss a proper full English brekkie, the best breakfast in the world for my money 😋 oh yeah I do put on here quite often what I'm eating 😅
2 coffees and a cappuccino - you must’ve been wiped out! (You usually have the happiest eyes, so it’s hard to tell whether you’re tired or not.) I’m diggin Guatemala’s prices - especially after normalizing paying $13 for (glass-bottled) water here in LA 😩
When it's been more than 5 days, thinks "where is he " 😅 but it is usually that length of time.i noticed another guy asking if you were OK in a comment, and you told him it's because you were uploading videos to keep the traffic going, so people are hoping that you are all right.
We loved this video, it was nice you met another youtuber, the food looked smashing, surprised at the rainfall but all part of the experience. 🙂❤🇬🇧
Yes lots of rain here in the tropics, keeps it green and lush 🌴
Beautiful place, Cheers 🍺🍺
🍻

I'm very fond of Guatemala - I planned on being here 2 weeks and it's almost 2 months already 😅 hope one day you can make it here!
Another great video.
Thanks Jon!
Yes Matt a great vídeo. Really you had a long tríp. Greetings from Argentina my friend 😀😀🙋🏽♂️

C'est un fait , il faut voir aussi cet aspect du voyage.... mais rien ne fait peur à un grand voyageur comme toi 😊👍

Nice one, mate

Nice one mate, good effort that! ❤
Thanks mate, I'm sure you could drive for longer lol
@@no_soy_rubio Best I’ve managed without stopping is 8 👍
You must have been exhausted, Matt. Looking forward to your first report from Guatemala! Cuidate, hermano...
Thanks mate! I slept well that day but was back filming the next day (for next week's video 😁)

I got precisely zero sleep until I went to bed that night and got about 11 hours I think 😂

Thanks Craig! I managed to not vomit thankfully!
I know by experience that the tropics hardly provide quick transportation....😊
Watching all the way from one of the richest countries near France
Luxembourg? 🤔
27 hours is A GRIND all at once. I usually start going stir crazy in about half that much time. Maybe that's why I'm traveling so slowly :D
Haha it sure was a grind, luckily I had some company for most of it at least 😁 and got some editing done 😅
@@no_soy_rubio I saw that! I haven't run into any others of us on the road yet, at least none that have approached me.

Haha I've never been told that about my eyes before! $13 is insane! I've paid less than that for three meals here 😅
La panadería...closed. 😩
😫
£18 a night for that nice apartment in Guatemala? Damn that is dirt cheap. Ur breakfast there also looks good.
