Just moved to kings river and the family loves the trees and trails. Came from wa st and the trees really remind us of the pnw. The community has welcomed us with open arms. Really cool area and I totally agree with it being a great place to live.

I saw your videos before you moved to Kingwood. When I came back to check on your channel, I was ecstatic to learn that you now live in KW too! I been here only a year and I am already so Kingwood proud!!!
Also all that rich area in the point on lake Houston flooded bad in hurricane Harvey. Just about all those houses were flipped and remodeled. We are on 7 maples landing area and love it. Hope to c u one day. Love u and Joe Joe!!

Deer ridge park could be a good video. I just found it a week ago and it is amazing. They even have batting cages for kw residents. We just got our k stickers and next a boat or jet skis so we can use the boat ramp .

Only bad thing about kingwood is the traffic getting out on Kingwood Dr and Northpark.
Also, we were just in Kingwood a few weeks ago, try Coco's! SO good!

Hi Jackson, thank you for your videos they are very informative. How is the Kingwood section closer to North Park Dr.? I moved to New Caney from Westchester NY a year ago and my wife does not like this area so we are considering Kingwood but we are not sure of the different sections.

Came down from CDA Idaho. Husband loved Whataburger-Kingwood.
I lived in Kingwood for many years. I recently moved to Las Vegas. Kingwood is nice but people act like they live in Beverly Hills and they don't. Not even close. Oh my god, when Aldi's opened up, the community had a FIT! HAHA Kingwood is BORING. Everything in Kingwood and Atascocita closes early and is just plain boring. Schools are great. People in Kingwood call it their bubble for a reason. The Green Belts are great! The tacos at the meat market are THE BEST! If you are married with children and have no life, Kingwood is GREAT! I would say people in The Woodlands have more bragging rights though. Kingwood is very old and they are building new housing additions that are nice. When hurricane Harvey hit we were all stuck in Kingwood and the community did a great job coming together and helping each other out. PHENOMENAL job actually. Sharky's is great! So is Berry BAR! Oh, and AKASHI!! We will be coming back for Christmas and can't wait to eat at our favorite restaurants. Aside from just being extremely boring, Kingwood was a great little community to live in, aside from the many times my daughter was called the N word I suppose. I do think there are better communities though than Kingwood.

Awesome videos you do. We enjoyed our time in Kingwood. As for your point about the best burgers, I prefer the California chain (In N Out) over the Chicago chain (Whataburger). Still we come back to Kingwood once a month from the woodlands and stop at Pete’s Burger Place on 494. Just an awesome place.
Bill's on 494 is SO much better than Pete's!

Bro u never showed River Grove dead end street park with the boat launch that is by far the best park. Feels like a campground
U also skipped the sharkys restaurant area on the lake. That is way more impressive than the heb area. Also try that new beer tavern restaurant at the back of New heb strip mall it is awesome. ❤❤

Final thoughts is Kingwood is the best area to live in Houston Metro if u need close bush airport access, boat life, and golf fitness biking we have 85 miles of trails and parks. Woodlands does not have a boating lake and is extremely congested traffic wise. But Kingwood major flaws are lack of high end shops and restaurants. We mostly have crappy mall and shops and low brow restaurants. Woodlands has all the high end stuff and shopping. If u want the best lake experience move to lake Conroe area. It is a lot further away from houston crime which is probably a good thing these days. 😂😂

I’m looking at moving to Houston and Kingwood looks ideal. However, I’ve been told Kingwood floods. Looking at your video, where are the cars? Are you not allowed to park on the street or your driveway? I also notice everywhere I look there is an HOA. What’s that about?…never mind..I do see some cars.

Love Kingwood, but I would never live there. We live in a rural area pretty nearby. Go there to eat and shop. Love the Back Pew brewery. Have friends there. Go to the Y there. Thinking about joining the country club as a social thing. Downtown Kingwood 6 feet underwater during hurricane Harvey. Too close to the San Jacinto river. Not true what he says about the trash.

had a massive flood during harvey but there was some govt. stuff that happened with Conroe opening their damn and flooding kingwood, its a huge mess up if you ask the locals.
