Thanks so much for the video and for giving it a good home. It made it that much easier for Dad to let go of it.
It has its own shelf. I'm honoured.
I have a ThinkPad 380XD that I picked up from a recycler that was shutting down. The recycling center rented out devices to film studios as props, so if there is a movie or TV show filmed in New York City with a ThinkPad 380XD, it's probably mine.
Haha, that's cool!
you can adjust the cd-rom speed in the bios settings
Best keyboard ever! IBM
That was really nice of them to donate... Now I want one 🤗
Good luck on your quest!
I really love 90 IBM ThinkPads and some Toshiba libreto.
Toshiba's are a rare sight around here either old or new.
@@LaptopRetrospective yes but one day somebody give me one for test and was amazing the same bottom like Thinkpad
Wow, this is in good condition. The shcolls made the right choice.
Great video. I ran across it because I just pulled my 385XD out of the basement and turned it on. Its working, but entirely slow. I was trying to figure out a way to get any docs and pictures off it. Any ideas? To explain the speed, it currently takes about 4 minutes per picture to load the preview.
I'd remove the HDD and use an IDE to USB cable/setup. Sabrent sells a great model that works with all drives. I reviewed it on the channel.
