    I have a ThinkPad 380XD that I picked up from a recycler that was shutting down. The recycling center rented out devices to film studios as props, so if there is a movie or TV show filmed in New York City with a ThinkPad 380XD, it's probably mine.

    I really love 90 IBM ThinkPads and some Toshiba libreto.

    Great video. I ran across it because I just pulled my 385XD out of the basement and turned it on. Its working, but entirely slow. I was trying to figure out a way to get any docs and pictures off it. Any ideas? To explain the speed, it currently takes about 4 minutes per picture to load the preview.

      I'd remove the HDD and use an IDE to USB cable/setup. Sabrent sells a great model that works with all drives. I reviewed it on the channel.
