This Laptop was Free - IBM Thinkpad 365X

I recently went to pick up a Facebook Marketplace purchase, and the seller basically threw this IBM Thinkpad 365X laptop at me for free.

Sincere apologies for the missing scenes in this video. I recorded all my footage and then sold the laptop, and didn't edit it together for some weeks. I don't know what happened to the missing scenes but I didn't want to re-record the script and re-edit the whole thing!

Nice pickup! I have the 365XD (with the cd drive). The keyboard in particular on these things are AWESOME, the clicking sound is amazing. I'm so jealous that you got this for free 😂
As for the DSTN screen, my original 365XD came with one, and wow I did not know how bad it was until I saw it in person. So I bought another one of the same model with a TFT screen for parts. With a little bit of patience, I managed to install the TFT screen on the DSTN model.
Enjoy it, these are great little vintage machines.

Wait wait wait!!! Please tell me you back up and archive the hardrive, you do not know how many times people have a laptop with drivers that have not been archived and they just delete it
