- Hello Guys, Today in this video we would deal with #Dell #Inspiron 15 5000 #ChargingPort Replacement. From my point of view, this is a simple task with extra care especially, if the used laptop has physically wear and tear!
Get the right replacement, its easy to get the part from online. But remember there is two Version with this cable as one of them short in the Cable which is a short one and other is a bit longer in a Cable which is long one. But Both replacement does have the same port as well as the connector. So before you order Just check it out.

Hi I replaced a broken dc jack on my Vostro 15 3558. Now, the laptop doesn't recognise the adapter. Also, the battery won't charge. Is the replacement power jack faulty?
Same issue, but the unit I have have does the same thing with original power jack when swapped and it only charges when laptop is off. Once on, it only holds same battery level, never discharges or charges from where ever it is.
