Fun facts, there's no such thing as NIKE factory. NIKE only sub-contract production to overseas factories. At present there are around 146 factories in China employing 189,000 workers. Nike make a large variety of products in factories across China. As Asian, we know Chinese very well and we know how they make more money than they suppose to.
Same people that makes fakes makes the retail ready ones….. I recommend this video to all sneaker heads. Now Quality control will put stamp in the box but their still the same shit if they pass quality control. Hence how shoes go to outlets so fast.
Everyone is free to feel how they feel. I have gotten pairs from nike direct via mail and in person with bad stitching, bad leather, paint issues, color issues, etc. I did the factory variant thing when I was young also, and loved going home to NY and buying off the street. All of that stuff was awful. Terrible everything. Today, the sneaker business is making private people millions of dollars, so it only makes sense that people are going to find a way to shit on (in many cases) an amazing alternative. I will NEVER spend 500 plus dollars on some nikes or some adidas, but the APPS won't even let you get them if you wanted! The brands are forcing people who just love sneakers and looking fly to look for other alternatives. I have had hundreds of pairs of retail. I was the nike factory store king for years. Now the outlets don't have shit, you never hit on the apps, and kobes cost 600 dollars. F all that. The UAs of today are as good as retail, often times better. I have had UAs authenticated by sneaker experts in my face, never in life have I had someone question my kicks. Everyone claims to be an expert, but I have held a UA and a retail in my hands of the same shoes, and boy do you have to reach to find differences, IF THERE EVEN ARE ANY. and who is telling you to take your shoes off, putting black lights on them, or checking leather density on the street? LOL. that's just silly. Literally no one would know, but me.
that's a fact, I myself found a plug were I was skeptical at first but took a chance buying the kobe 4 protro I recieved them and was glad they wasn't fugazi, I like them so much that i bought another pair and will probably buy more in the future, people have no idea how much those kobe 4 Protro's shoes cost to get here in the U.S. these idiots would spent their whole paycheck and rent money for these kobes real talk and its sad while meanwhile I only paid $100 plus shipping and handling which cost in total $115 which ain't that bad 🙂
@ancient warriors nah, what I got to be mad about, I own a sneaker store and got shoes that are DS and collecting dust bro, I just don’t like these fools taking advantage of people looking to purchase shoes. And the ones that don’t know the game. 🤷🏽♂️
As a person who has connections in Shenzhen China where most texttile/manufacturing companies exist in China, reps-fakes-ua copies.....they are all the same. Original companies that contract these factories out have extremely high security during their material purchasing process, manufacturing process, and quality control process. They just don't purchase extra material so they can happen to make an extra thousand pairs at night. Every single piece of material in their inventory is consistently counted. All replica products are made elsewhere in other factories where they reverse engineer the product and use laser 3D scanners and laser printers to produce products are are down to a 1mm difference. Some are just as good as the originals or even better. Now not all factories are have the same quality and have the available materials they can get a hold of. Thats why one rep can cost more than another. It all depends on what factory it came out of. If you dont know the facility when you make the purchase, you are essentially flipping a coin on getting a quality product. All I can say is that if you are paying $500 plus for some shoes when there is another exact pair for less than $100, you are a fool. Thats how these brand new keep you poor as hell. Thats why there are so many multi multi millionaires in these areas where these factories exisit. They rely on poor and middle class people trying to look and act rich. Believe me, i have some reps (not shoes though) that will blow your mind. These factories are pumping out some spot on products.
Why do people keep talking about $500 pairs of shoes Jordan are about $200 retail At that point you're just being a cheap ass if you buy fakes, you can tell your self they're the same but they never last
Na this is straight bs, uas are 🗑. They fake then they are fake. Its a personal decision to not wear fake clothing or snkrs. Im not fake won't wear fake shoes
@TMCS who said they're broke? You just assume. Broke people don't have 4 pairs of shoes coming their way. Broke people resell shoes because it doesn't take intelligence to sell shoes. Go on about your day Al Bundy and stop worrying about how other people spend their money.
I wear reps as real and Nobody has ever call me out, i buy shoes to wear, not sell, if im tired of my shoes i probably gifft them to somebody but never sell them. Good vid G!
1. Alot of these factories get the original molds for the original shoe from the subcontracted nike factories 2. Now most of the UAs are actually better quality then retail because they send qc pictures before they send you your pair so if you see any defects you can have them swap it out and send you a pair with no flaws 3. Ive seen plenty of UAs that are better quality then retail like jordan 11, jordan 1 , chunky dunkys etc. the good ua companies try hard to perfect to where as nike just sends them shits out to stores with all types of glue stains etc. the ua companys deal directly with buyers so they try to avoid any flaws
UA definitely exist but are quite rare, I’m from Italy I’ve worked for a factory that was subcontracted to make Gucci products and we made UA’s, but it’s a few hundred pieces at max, even at a larger scale they are not pumping out enough product to run multiple sites claiming to be genuine UA’s it’s all replicas.
Some brands destroy their "b-grade" merchandise. Some brands send them to outlets and stores like TJ Maxx. Why in the world would people believe the largest apparel company in the world would just "lose" extra materials and turn a blind eye for contractors to manufacture more of their products is just nuts. By that definition you should be able to buy a UA iPhone, UA iPad, etc. Since Apple also uses favorites in China to manufacture their products too and they have "left over" materials.
You can totally buy all that stuff in China...(iPhone, iPad, etc). They actually have entire shopping malls and markets dedicated to high quality replicas of all types of products. That being said, I don't really believe the whole U.A. myth, but if you're saying that there are no replica Apple products that are extremely close to retail, you're dead wrong.
@@andrewwhite8651 there's absolutely no website where you can buy a brand new current gen iPhone, iPad, or MacBook for a quarter of the retail price. That's the point it's not "high quality replica". It's fake. It's not running the same hardware, not the same software, etc. So anybody who buys a replica iPhone isn't saying "it's the just made from leftover materials."
@@_illmatic_ there's no point in explaining these things UA sellers have somehow managed to convince people that UA shoes are genuinely produced in the "same" factories as the actual factories brands subcontract or use & that some UAs are just B-grades when in fact B-grades end up in outlets. It's just copium on the end of UA buyers that they couldn't hit for retail and that they've been browsing r/FashionReps for too long.
All of this makes you have to ask the question….. what is “real” ? If the shoes are all made out of leather, nubuck, suede, rubber, etc. Why is one considered real and the other considered fake ? In the early 2000s there was definitely a difference, but now….. it’s all the same. There is no such thing as real and fake anymore.
I'd add that its all branding, if the "real" pair is recognized and sold by the Brand, then they're "real"...but the fact of the matter is, that they're made in the same place where these "fake" shoes are made. Yeah, you could argue quality or durability differences, but "real" pairs also come with minor and noticeable flaws. The game has changed.
@@KicksonKicks I got a pair of Rep Bordeaux 1s last year when they first came out. My best friend hit on SNKRS for em too. We compared both our pairs and my pair actually was put together better than his…. Yet because i didn’t get them from Nike they’re considered “fake” ? Both are the same exact shoe, regardless of where they were made. Unless the Nike logo is spelled wrong or some crazy off the wall shit, ain’t no point in calling a 1:1 rep fake.
Also, Just my personal opinion. I think these factories leave these “batch flaws” on purpose, maybe to avoid legal action from these brands. Kind of saying: “oh no…is not exactly the same…look at these differences”
I don't think boxes (you can't wear the box), paper (who cares about the paper) or extra laces matters but as long as the shoes are very close to what the retail pairs look and feel like. People always gonna talk negative about UAs which is fine but the truth is more and more people are going that route due to botting, backdooring and limited quantities available. The UA problem begins with Nike and other Giant retailers first. Until then if sneaker heads can't hit on retails they are going across the waters.
The knocks offs or ua and replicas now a days are quality especially if you know where to cop. My dunk collection is complete thanks to the nice factories. I've hit on snkrs before and if I can't I will cop from over da seas
@@kellyk7682 Yes, I definitely agree with you on that. As long as your satisfied with your purchase regardless of where they come from it's a W foe all. Shop smarter now harder especially nowadays.
All I know is that I recently bought reps of the Union 1 Blues and Black Toes and matched them and the box up with my retail pairs and they are identical. I put them all under a UV light and everything looks perfect, actually the reps had less flaws than the retails. 🤷🏻♂️
@X5J9 you gotta be a reseller bro, you are pressed in every comment section on this video. Maybe he wanted to double up and didn’t want to pay thousands? “Cheap” he has a pair of union 1s lol. All Chad Ochocinco does is buy replica shit and I guarantee he has more money than you ever will 😂
I literally do not care if someone calls my Jordans fake. Even if they meant it as a joke, I just hit the with the "I like the shoe, not the brand or the collaboration"
Bro. Retail pairs aren’t as good. Sometimes they’re worse. These Reps are PERFECT. They’re justifiable because it’s almost impossible to hit on raffles nowadays
I have no problem with reps. I have like 3 pair on the way, specifically for that reason. It's impossible to hit on raffles/snkrs. Esp if you don't buy often.
I absolutely love UA shoes! I get my UA's from a girl who worked at a shop that made shoes for Nike so she knows all the mats they use, where to get them, and how they are made. I'm getting real Jordans specially made for me, for retail price or less. I got a pair of Dior jordans and you really can't tell any difference between the two. I absolutely love UA's!
I got into UA because of resellers and sneakers app lmao. I remember the shoes around your time. Night and day. Now all the tools the replica shops have them. Dare I say the same employees too. Same goes for the apple cables
Anything made by human hands will have some flaws. No two retails are exactly the same. No two UAs are the same. They're all made on the assembly lines using the same machines. Say what you will but if we have to determine if a shoe is real or fake according to the box or extra shoe strings the whole sneaker community has been fooled. Stephen Marbury tried to put people on game years ago about sneaker manufacturing. I really doubt if so called expert shoe authenticators know the difference these days.
Finally some1 speaking some real shit! This Retail vs UA game is psychological! What's got people in an uproar is the UAs look just as good if not better than Retail. While some (Insecure sucker) spends $400 & for Resale. His homeboy spend $150 to $170 for UA. People (Technology) change the game. Now nike & Jordan are flooding the retail market. This is pushing the middle man out. Yeah you resellers!
@@501Caution NO they don’t! They just don’t… idk why yall lie to y’all selves and say they look the same or even better in some cases. That’s a bold face lie… I have NEVER seen a perfect rep in my life. Now granted the flaws be minor and you would really have to know shoes to even notice it, but then shits be off. Either the color is to light or dark. Or the lettering on the shoe is off. Or take for instance I bought a pair of off white 4s the tan pair. I have never seen anyone do them perfect yet. Either they have the color on the back tab is off OR which is normally the biggest flaw, they make the butt of that pair super short. When it’s suppose to be Long and thicker. I wish they would start making ua shoes perfect, then I wouldn’t have to pay $400-500 for the real thing
The current Rep sneakers aren't exactly the same as Nike contract sneakers yet, but they're 99% there with SB Dunks, Dunks, and AJ1's, and that 1% that is off is easily covered by current "Nike Quality Control" or lack there of. Only the laziest of the lazy (DHgate and Aliexpress Jordan buyers...) will wind up with pairs that are bad enough not to pass on foot, with near 1:1 stuff readily available if you're willing to put in the work to research a little. I'm not dropping 2 bands on Chicago 1's when the "fakes" on my feet that cost me $150 get me compliments as if they're real.
People that are ready to put hundreds more for the stitch to be 1mm more to the right so they can be called "real" compared to the UAs pair just dont have a good self esteem about themselves, buying UAs is just smart because you spend less for literally IMPOSSIBLE to notice details in public, bro,im happy asf with my UAs.
facts! i remember when Kobe passed, and i went looking for the Kobe 10 Elites, all the UA sites were sold out... remarkably places like StockX and GOAT had PLENTY of pairs...I wonder how they acquired them.
Man, I remember when I was in HS back in 2003 and all my boys were wearing 11s with LV, Gucci, Burberry (etc.) print on them and they were only like 90 bucks. No one gave a damn. We all thought it looked good. Hahahaha
One thing you can at least hold to merit of the UA sneaker title is that they are supposed to be the highest grade regardless of the background story, so it is best to go for them if you want close to 100% correct. From speaking to many suppliers it seems they still acquire the blueprint back door from the factories and try to match them, in some cases you can find the materials are slightly off but even higher quality funnily specifically with leathers. There are still slight differences with every individual release so you have to look at every colourway of every shoe compared to retail to see the differences
@@nicklauschristofonoXXIIwho cares about real there is almost no way to buy high demand shoes nowadays and l know for sure if they real or fake the way I see it there all the same and if someone says cool shoes are they fake just say yes if you know they are it isn't that hard
I stopped buying anything thats over retail...It's so dumb when these reps are so good nowadays. Especially Jordan 1's...The travis scott shoes are great because you can wear them with anything. I have all the mochas and they are reps. I wear them to work and when I wear them out I just grab another pair. Definitely couldn't afford to do that with the real ones.
Nice video. I will never be swindled by Nike ever again. I have my tested UA site and the ones that come are better quality than the original. I work very hard for my money and the only thing that matters to me is I get what I like at an affordable price. The only people that I can see arguing UA are retailers, anyone else is just in denial only caring what other people think.
From what I've seen, most replica sneakers you get are just replicas. Like there are a lot of different sites and sellers that claim they sell UA, but they are just replicas in the end. There are a variety of different factories that may get retail materials and machines but 99% of the time replica shoes aren't straight up from Nike factories and instead different batches such as M, CZ, PK, LJR are made. If you search up some factories a bit, you can see many get a retail pair in hand and they cut them up, dissecting them to find how they are constructed to build their own pairs. Although, I have heard of some sellers in China though that have sold "authentic" and actual UA sneakers in extremely rare cases, normally early pairs which have been verified authentic by some buyers, but they have all been sold only a bit under market price. Ex: There was a seller that sold "retail" Georgetown 85's for around 2000Y or $300 USD.
First of all, I’m 40 years old and been a sneaker head for quite a while now. I’ve sold nearly all my authentic sneakers. Except for my Chicago ones and bred ones. But I know what a real sneaker looks like and what it smells like and what the leather feels like ir the cheap leather that they typically used to make these shoes. So I can say and I can attest that UA’s or replicas are the same. Like I said, I’ve been buying shoes for over 20+ years now and every single pair of authentic sneakers I’ve had always have some slight errors with the stitching or you could see the glue or the guidelines I’ve had a pair of shoes that both don’t look the same. People need to understand that all these shoes are handmade in the same factories. People need to stop falling for these resellers by giving them your hard earned money for a pair of sneakers that probably cost $15 or $20 of materials to make in China.
The best thing you said here is the bit about sporting “fake” shoes and not giving a bleep. Do they cover your feet for a reasonable price? Do they look kinda nice? Rock them sh!ts.
Not true they has sneakers that will pass authentication. Even under the black light. It depends where you get it from. They have different grades of reps. Go search the higher the price the better the quality. My nephew lives in china. And he sent me a pair of Jordan 13 del sol’s and they pass the black light
blacklight and smell test both don't work anymore and give it some more time you won't be able to authenticate shoes anymore its already starting to be real hard and legit check apps and website are already passing reps 🤷🤷 shoes are shoes brother
@@bretttuzzo713 Pen guidelines are easy to remove with a little heat from a blow drier, and you can air the smell out in a week, and then they smell the same! The retails smell the same right off the line too, (its the glue!), but the retails usually sit in a warehouse for MONTHS before their release, so the fresh glue smell has already aired out and is long gone by then.
I've been overseas to a factory on a tour and a UA shoe is exactly what they say it is. No one can tell me differently anymore because I've seen it with my own eyes.
UA are usually official they have a slight defect that doesn't pass QC, and are supposed to be disposed of, but of course someone in the factory sees an opportunity
Call it whatever you like, justify iit however you like. Long as you aint feeding into the reseller abuse. This sht gotta stop man, Thankfully it's going in the right direction right now with the market making way for Reps/ UA's because the Rep UA makers are sneakerheads as well and are intimately familiar with the work of all of the shoes, so much so that alot of the new reps are better quality than the retails Eg most of the new dunks ,1 and Nike Yeezy's . Between that, the whole Nike vs Stock X thing, Covid, it's effectively crashed the market to the point where it's relatively cheap to get alot of good sneakers now compared to pre covid. we really at the point where reps/UA retail make no real difference because we all have reasonable options to get what we want to wear at relatively reasonable prices and I absolutly love it here ngl.
I got the jordan 3 wizards off the sneakers app and they came flawed with the elephant print. UAs for the win of you ain’t dumb enough to pay hundreds over retail for the same pair and same quality…forget about resellers, bots and the hype game…lol
At my son's school there is a lot of bullying for not wearing jordans or Air Force 1s, their shoes have to be inspected by the bullies to see if they are real, the school doesn't beleive what's going on after bringing that to their attention, is sad, my son says that everyday the kids with normal or fake shoes get beat up constantly.
I think the biggest difference is the tooling Air max Zoom air boost etc is not the same on fakes. The leather and suede is probably close to the real thing since most sneakers are synthetic materials.
bruh these shoes now are so hard to tell if real or fake i wear them and people cant tell. i buy mines from a seller in china and they be on point since i have the reals and reps.
They've also somehow managed to convince normal people that can't hit retail that Unauthorised Authentics are genuinely made by the actual factories where retail pairs are made because Unauthorised Authentic has the term "Authentic" in it
As much as I mess with reps, I don’t buy into the same factory bs but I believe that some rep manufacturers work with employees that produce the actual sneakers
I've personally been in these factories... Some of these factories make MORE THAN SHOES... They make some of the clothes as well. They make excessive amounts and what DOESN'T PASS QC (clothes as well) gets outsourced to online stores and boutiques. Go buy 2 pairs of retail and I promise you will find differences.
This is the thing when I know that I can hit on the sneakers app I have a Chinese supplier that sells very good UA’S, and I’ve been with him for some several years now and I am very happy to wear my UA and everywhere I go nobody even notice because in 2023 these UA are better than the real ones I am a UA freak.
Yo, I'm in the mall every weekend and get tons of compliments on my UA's. I honestly stopped taking sneakers so serious when someone wants to hurt my kid for them or you can't get them for retail because enough aren't made and the price of resale is out of this world. Na, if I can pay retail that's good but if not go UA
We own factories producing only adidas collabs. When there’s a collab, they send us nearly the exact amount of fabric to produce the quantity ordered. Usually margin for error is 1 shoe. If there is an incident that occurs, we don’t just pick up the phone and ask for more fabric. There’s an entire process behind to ensure UA’s don’t happen. We don’t produce mass quantity models, so not aware of how those work. But I imagine Nike operates a similar way. So to say there’s many UA of collabs and exclusive Nikes is a little shocking for me.
However, I will say I’ve seen first hand “factories”, where ex employees quit and purchase old equipments that factories like ours retire (either because we upgrade new equipment for new technology or from wear and tear) and they have the skills and equipment to make nearly perfect replicas. 10 years ago, there were still many flaws. But over a decade, they have become nearly perfect. You could argue, if it was the early 2,000s QC team would approve. QC now is very different than the past. There are bad replicas out there, it doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
@@supavegetasama that’s the name of the game my friend eliminate the middle man so I can make more with less, same thing what builders do carbon copy blue prints for homes and put there own name on it, yeah I agree the the reps have become perfect, like u would need a black light and a magnifying glass to distinguish the 2…
Really debating about buying reps for the reverse mocha. I don't think I want to spend 1K+ on a shoe. Sure I can just sell some big ones I hit for retail, but at the end of the day I would only wear them to beat up. Don't want to stress losing money as I wear it.
thanks fam! I just started the channel like 2 weeks ago so I'm not surprised. Hopefully more people will come across it and share the content with friends.
My first reps are on my feet now, the Jordan 1 next chapter. I went for the shock drop and missed then the official release came and took another L. They were reselling at the time for over 400. Found a place through ig and got a pair for 150. No one is asking me where I get my kicks from. I’m gonna get a few more soon.
RESPECT! I personally only cop directly from Nike or the mall shoe stores but that’s not important rt here and now but what is important is the transparency you displayed while what I believe you spoke is the truth keeping it 💯 thousand a counterfeit is a counterfeit and the only problem I have with a counterfeit is when people try to pass them off and I mean sell them as anything but ..that is where I have a problem ✌🏾
Imma buy what i want to wear what I want ua, retail etc. Somebody telling me they spent 500 on some dam shoes to walk on concrete with doesn't impress me. Jordan's use to cost 125 to 150 in the 80s and 90s and that's real facts. Man buy what yall want
Bro the UA theory is 100% true. I can refer you to a guy who father owns a factory that is subcontracted to make everything from Polo to cheaper clothing. They work for peanuts so they have to do this.
Clearly bro hasn’t seen a rep shoe that’s 1:1 💀💀 there are batches out there that are identical with retail some even better than retail on materials you talk as if reps are not that good but they have improved and a lot of most look better than retail depends on which batch you got the box one is also not true as I said depends on the batches we’ve had a lot of reps pass legit check yes they are fake but fake don’t mean they are not good they are way improved than retail in most cases
UA SHOES don't make a difference unless you are reselling. I bought a pair of cherry 11 authentic from flight club . Then I got some concord 11s UA and didn't see a difference
"Here's how you can tell they're fake. Box coloring is off and the paper inside the box doesn't feel the same." Note to self: Do NOT carry shoe box around the mall with me when wearing the shoes. Problem solved 😄👍
Fr, I ain’t even going to give anyone the chance to even get that close to see if the K on the Heel is a little more bold than what it should be. Gtfoh lol
Being on the rep wagon myself for sometime for luxury watches, mainly to have a cheap backup to my genuine similar watches and being able to find amazing 1:1 high end reps where weight, hidden details etc were exactly identical, i got to a point that i felt “fake and cheap” myself wearing them, regardless if no one else could tell the difference. So i got rid of them. As related to sneakers, i would recommend to the young folks to get out of the hype trap, and if you can’t cop the shoe you want on retail, just find another shoe that you like and be genuine. I would prefer 100% wearing a product that i bought through a legit channel and show everybody else the finger. The industry will always work like that and there is no way around it. And stop paying triple the price on resale for a product that 2 minutes earlier have released cheaper. Save you money and invest. Fakes make you feel fake. And even if nobody else knows that you are wearing an counterfeit, the worst thing is that you know and in time it will make you feel devaluated.
That’s what I don’t get about a lot of these rep RUclipsrs constantly said they don’t care about rocking fake then always trying to justify why there’re warring fakes. Like some of the people watching don’t care that’s why we are watching.
I understand brands aren't going to turn a blind eye to leftover materials etc but wouldn't that factory just buy their own material? Either way I'm not buying the whole UA thing. It just seems too convenient and people are good liars. We know that. 😆
I hit on the Jordan 1 high Travis Scott a no d my tounge on the right shoe was stitched on all kinda crooked. Every time I put them on I'm pulling the tounge back over to the left every 30 min. WTF over!
Reps are a vital instrument in the war against resellers and high sneaker prices in general. Nike did this to themselves. But now I’m honestly numb to all Jordan’s. They might as well be chucks or Vans. Even the special ones aren’t special anymore.
You're totally off on this one bro! I guess you never seen MK cut open these UA sneakers? They're the same. Sneakers we're cut open and sneakers were leather. You have no clue what you're talking about. Sorry to tell you bro. You're Wong. Period.
which part was wrong? the part where I said today's replicas are really good? or when I said the factory workers know what they're doing? Or just the part where I said that doesn't make them real? lol
@@KicksonKicks the part where you said their not real. I talk to people who work in these factories. They tell me what you guys don't know. I know what's going on. All this shit is the same. Real talk!
Honestly the only reps I avoid are any sneakers that use a patented cushioning like boost or react because I'm not 100% sure they use the same materials when it comes to those.
@@KicksonKicks Nah i meant stuff like the element react 87, I aint paying resell for the sail colourway. Its more about the comfort for me but yeah I guess if its for the looks it shouldnt matter too much.
Imo there’s nothing wrong with replicas. In fact, I just bought a pair of replica University Blue dunks. As long as you’re not trying to sell them off as real, no harm no foul. I personally will only buy replicas of expensive sneakers because I just can’t rationalize spending over $250 on a pair of sneakers I’m planning on beating into the ground. If you’re someone out there who buys reals and actually wears them, god bless you. I’ll never understand the hypebeasts who have collections with hundreds of sneakers that they’ll never wear because they simply succumb to trends instead of buying sneakers they actually enjoy and will wear.
At this point, it's not about feeling bad or justifying wearing replicas. It's that spending $500+ on a $150 nike shoe is absurd. If you want to rock some Travis Scott Nikes you're going to have to spend a ton of money on a nike shoe that someone is profiting 2-5 times the price it costed them. People with good contacts getting these limited shoes for the sole purpose of storing them until they can profit triple the price on them. This is when good replicas come into play. If the shoe is on the shelf, then yes, get the Authentic pair. But if the shoe has an absurd price on it (like the Travis Scott ones) then get the PK, H12/KickWho "godkiller" replica and you will be able to rock shoes that you couldn't in the first place. This shoe game today is disgusting. They hype a shoe or they buy out a limited shoe for the sole purpose of cashing in on them and then they shame you for wearing reps. Wanting you to buy the Authentic pair at an absurdly inflated price that they themselves made in the first place. Who are the evils one here actually? The people making the 95-99% accurate reps, the Nike company purposely not making enough shoes for the demand it has, or the BS resellers buying shoes that they won't wear for the purpose of cashing in on them.
To each their own. I prefer to own pairs purchased from retail stores. I don't want any pair bad enough to purchase them from "Jenny". If you have to say "they're from the same factory", you're just trying to justify your purchase. As long as no one tries to sell them as legit authentic pairs, I'm cool. Being deceptive is flagrant
The one who makes UA are same factory nike hired in the past.If in the past made certain colorway they will for sure continue making other colorways that other factory are making or made in the past. They already know the pattern, color code and materials.
Bro I just came from Vietnam and don't get fooled I saw some of the best quality sneakers ever there .The only difference in quality is in the molds Nike sends out different molds to different manufacturers the workers can make any shoe to retail specs it's just the materials that you have to pay for to get retail quality.
These factories have a contract with Nike to buy certain amount of pairs to sell in the US or other countries. However, these companies also need profits as well. They the same shoes. You got authentic pairs look like grade b. You got some reps better quality than authentic. So whenever Nike get them they are printed as AUTHENTIC. That's all. Reps are AUTHENTIC just not label buy a big company.
There are some good reps but you will get called out if you stunt above your grade. Don't walk through the mall with Diors J1s or Eminem 4s, that's asking to get crucified.
7:20 i’m not tryna cope but do you think maybe they just cut corners because Nike isn’t forcing them to keep up to par to their standards? im not under the impression that its common but i think its definitely possible that it has gone on
I don't care if the box is a bit off. I don't care about the damn box or the one tiny microscopic thread popping out. I want shoes because I like them, not to flex and stuff. Shoes are to be worn on foot and used and these small details are just straight irrelevant.
This was informative because I have a co-worker who is also selling UA even models that were old like the J4 in the Nubuck version. And he is selling it minus 2k the retail price. It kinda look legit but yes your correct unless you really look at it and compare it with a retail version thats the only time you can tell is not the retail factory version
UA sneakers actually exist if you know who is working at one of the factories. All you have to do is get the factory worker to take home pairs that didn't go into inspection. Now whether or not you can trust an online site saying they're selling UA sneakers is another thing altogether lol. Here's an example of UA Fashion. In the mid 80's to early 90's, Hip Hop fashion designer Dapper Dan would design east coast rappers & R&B stars with exclusive designer brand outfits by using the factory bought materials from the actual name brand manufacturers. Difference is, he'd make authentic fashion designs that the manufacturer didn't make. So everyone went to him instead of going to Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Benetton, etc... His designs were so wave, that those companies, specifically Gucci sought him out to design for them. Now he designs for everyone and has his own boutique Dapper Dan Gucci fashion store all from making UA designs.
Yeah, UA is a thing, but it’s not what people are trying to pass off online. I think your Dapper Dan example would actually just count as a custom. Similar to what The Shoe Surgeon does these days.
@@KicksonKicks Actually his designs were both custom (his own creation) and UA (unauthorized) as the manufacturers never officially approved of any factory custom designs that he made from the manufacturer's materials.
I have originals ( paid shit high cash from recognised dealers) and reps. I live in Asia, i can get 7 pairs for the price of 1. The quality is on point. If you gotta start checking them under dark light etc to tell the difference, then in my book the only difference is the price.
All the shoes I have now replicas, and I don’t care what anybody says. But I do have a gray with someone trying to sell replicas so if you just buy replicas to put on your own feet and rock them then by all means, go ahead, I’ve walked around the mall everywhere even to some of my family members who are also Sneakerheadz and they can’t tell that they’re replicas unless I tell them
I've bought plenty of DH Gate reps for $50-$60, and was happy with most of them. I personally can't see paying $200+ for reps. If I'm going to pay that much, I'll just pay up and buy real ones.
I've bought Real from the Nile's website and UA reps; truthfully in 2022, there is virtually no difference in most of their shoe, especially the Jardon 1's.

I feel that
Everyone is free to feel how they feel.

Shhhhh… you’re being logical way too loudly lol
You can totally buy all that stuff in China...(iPhone, iPad, etc). They actually have entire shopping malls and markets dedicated to high quality replicas of all types of products.
That’s not a fact though. They’re not made in the same place. Unless we’re just naming the whole country of China as the place.

Great video though, keep it up
LJR IS THAT CRACK LMAO
Your shoes, your money, your happiness.
@@bretttuzzo713 Pen guidelines are easy to remove with a little heat from a blow drier, and you can air the smell out in a week, and then they smell the same!

Agreed. The general public either has no clue they’re UAs or they just don’t care. It’s only the online sneaker heads with a bunch to say about it lol
What site do you recommend for them
We own factories producing only adidas collabs.
Counterfeits inherently cheapen and disrespect any hobby they leech from. People who do things legally and legitimately don’t appreciate that.

Factory variant is a term used to sell goods that are deemed defective but replica is a copy of the original product
Well said! Really enjoyed the balanced reporting. Mad respect!
I think that one's called OEM. It's what it'w called when a brand company subcontracts to another manufacturers.
where do you buy your reps from?
Jordanreps is my loves, often buy from it
And yes, sometimes factory workers do mess up from time to time. B Grades etc.
Do you have any UA recommendations?
GoatShoes have lots of UA sneakers, great quality with 1:1
The leading manufacturer of Nike shoes is China and Vietnam.
Box coloring is off and the paper inside the box doesn't feel the same."
Note to self: Do NOT carry shoe box around the mall with me when wearing the shoes.
Problem solved 😄👍
Fr, I ain’t even going to give anyone the chance to even get that close to see if the K on the Heel is a little more bold than what it should be. Gtfoh lol
Where is the best place to buy reps I’m not wanting to pay 100,000 for Nike mags fr
IcyStarNet is great choice, great quality and customer service, more important, it will help to save money,
Being on the rep wagon myself for sometime for luxury watches, mainly to have a cheap backup to my genuine similar watches and being able to find amazing 1:1 high end reps where weight, hidden details etc were exactly identical, i got to a point that i felt “fake and cheap” myself wearing them, regardless if no one else could tell the difference.
People really say that UA/reps are riddled with issues when real Nike shoes purchased from their app store is no different.
That’s what I don’t get about a lot of these rep RUclipsrs constantly said they don’t care about rocking fake then always trying to justify why there’re warring fakes. Like some of the people watching don’t care that’s why we are watching.
Yeah man. Listening to some of these RUclipsrs reminds me of high school lol
I understand brands aren't going to turn a blind eye to leftover materials etc but wouldn't that factory just buy their own material? Either way I'm not buying the whole UA thing. It just seems too convenient and people are good liars. We know that. 😆
That’s exactly what they do. They source their own materials and try to make the product as close to the retail version as possible.
I hit on the Jordan 1 high Travis Scott a no d my tounge on the right shoe was stitched on all kinda crooked. Every time I put them on I'm pulling the tounge back over to the left every 30 min. WTF over!
REPS > RETAIL

Reps are a vital instrument in the war against resellers and high sneaker prices in general. Nike did this to themselves. But now I’m honestly numb to all Jordan’s. They might as well be chucks or Vans. Even the special ones aren’t special anymore.
You're totally off on this one bro! I guess you never seen MK cut open these UA sneakers? They're the same. Sneakers we're cut open and sneakers were leather. You have no clue what you're talking about. Sorry to tell you bro. You're Wong. Period.
Mk definitely is the truth when it comes to UA'S. He's the reason I start buying them
which part was wrong? the part where I said today's replicas are really good? or when I said the factory workers know what they're doing? Or just the part where I said that doesn't make them real? lol
@@KicksonKicks the part where you said their not real. I talk to people who work in these factories. They tell me what you guys don't know. I know what's going on. All this shit is the same. Real talk!

The people making the 95-99% accurate reps, the Nike company purposely not making enough shoes for the demand it has, or the BS resellers buying shoes that they won't wear for the purpose of cashing in on them.
the rarity of the shoe is part of what makes it special.
Exactly he said it, reselling is out of control....
How do they smell like? And what about the material is it authentic enough?
These factories have a contract with Nike to buy certain amount of pairs to sell in the US or other countries. However, these companies also need profits as well. They the same shoes. You got authentic pairs look like grade b. You got some reps better quality than authentic. So whenever Nike get them they are printed as AUTHENTIC. That's all. Reps are AUTHENTIC just not label buy a big company.
There are some good reps but you will get called out if you stunt above your grade. Don't walk through the mall with Diors J1s or Eminem 4s, that's asking to get crucified.
7:20 i’m not tryna cope but do you think maybe they just cut corners because Nike isn’t forcing them to keep up to par to their standards? im not under the impression that its common but i think its definitely possible that it has gone on
If you care more about who make it instead of how it looks and feel, you're screaming "I HAVE LOW SELF ESTEEM!"
@@KicksonKicks Where did you get that digital wallpaper on your PC?
@@KicksonKicks Actually his designs were both custom (his own creation) and UA (unauthorized) as the manufacturers never officially approved of any factory custom designs that he made from the manufacturer's materials.
I have originals ( paid shit high cash from recognised dealers) and reps. I live in Asia, i can get 7 pairs for the price of 1. The quality is on point. If you gotta start checking them under dark light etc to tell the difference, then in my book the only difference is the price.
Also the phrase “Unauthorized Authentic” is an oxymoron. How can something unauthorized be authentic?
i agree, wear your kicks proudly...the mans' gotta point👍🏽
All the shoes I have now replicas, and I don’t care what anybody says. But I do have a gray with someone trying to sell replicas so if you just buy replicas to put on your own feet and rock them then by all means, go ahead, I’ve walked around the mall everywhere even to some of my family members who are also Sneakerheadz and they can’t tell that they’re replicas unless I tell them
I've bought plenty of DH Gate reps for $50-$60, and was happy with most of them. I personally can't see paying $200+ for reps. If I'm going to pay that much, I'll just pay up and buy real ones.
“FBI raid on a local flea market”…. Hmmmm sounds like Bmore lol
I've bought Real from the Nile's website and UA reps; truthfully in 2022, there is virtually no difference in most of their shoe, especially the Jardon 1's.
I agree the differences are super minimal. And I have a ton of UA 1’s for that reason.
