Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame artist, Lucille Starr (1938-2020) performing with the Rodeo Wind Band at Festival Place in Sherwood Park, Alberta, in 2010. Her 1964 recording of "The French Song" sold over 1 million copies, making her the first Canadian artist to have a million seller.

It is, or was almost shocking how few Canadians knew about her. I grew up in Holland and she was truly a "Star". She does look indeed very ill already in this clip, so sad, but that huge voice out of this 72 year old Gal, incredible .
