One thing I think you missed here. I think during the second timeline, Eren, after deciding to kill everyone, went through the paths himself and saw all of the opportunities and options until it was too late. However, he did see the true peaceful future which was where he kills his friends but the world is at peace. I think that's why he wakes up in the anime (3rd timeline) and asks Mikasa "why are you here?" because she should have been dead. He wakes up in such a nightmare-ish state because he saw what he had to do (kill everyone) and was shocked/scared by it.

    So it's basically like Steins;Gate
There are things that whatever you do, you can't change. A fixed point in time. The only way to beat it is by changing the world lines which is only possible by time traveling and returning the things they changed in the very first timeline to how it's supposed to be. So it's possible that the "Good ending" isn't the very first timeline. It could be just one of the timelines. Then what is the first timeline? In my theory, the very first timeline is possibly where Armin dies and somehow Mikasa used time travel to save his life, which create a different world line where Eren is the one who is destined to always die. The only way to stop Eren from dying is by going back to the original timeline and leting Armin die. But in that timeline, Armin is the one who is always destined to die. So basically it's Armin or Eren. Now the reason I think Armin is the one who dies in the first timeline is... Well who else would it be? If I say Jean is the one who dies instead of Armin, surely Mikasa would choose Eren to live over Jean.
*Sorry if my explanation is confusing hahaha, just watch Steins;Gate so that you'll have better understanding of what I'm saying*

Another thing to note is that in season 4 AOT (final season part 1) episode 1 we get to see Falco on the battlefield. When he gets back he says "Wasn't I just flying through the air with a sword fighting titans, like woosh".
In the manga he does not say this. In the manga he doesnt even mention this and acts all confused.

      @theseal126 2 года назад +5

@@Jigglywhiteboy7156 It means that the ending will probably be different from the manga. But why would he do that? Well it's because there are different timelines and futures.
I think it will turn out that mikasa is the real main character. There are a ton of hints to it as well.
Both Levi and Mikasa seems to know events that will happen and try to change the future. Ackermanns seems to remember all the universes and efvery time they reset.
Pyxis actually seems to be evil and seems to have given Eren a special spinal fluid when they first met in a form of vine. That is why Eren tried to kill Mikasa because of that spinefluid he got from Pyxis.
Pyxis wants Mikasa dead. Probably because she resets the world every time to save Eren. However Eren must die or humanity will be destroyed and pyxis only fights for humanity.
There are many hints why Pyxis is evil. Especially is the pattern on the vine bottle he gave Eren to drink from. It is the same pattern as the church bells as well as the pattern on the mirror mans mask.
IF your asking of the line Falco said and what it entail specifically. Then I would guess that there is a chance that conciousness can be traveled between different people of ymir. So like Pyxis could transfer is his conciouss to another person and take over their body.
Or that in another universe Falco was born on the island or that he in one timeline got the founding titan.

Damn, as a wanna be writer myself it's scary to see what the theorists come up with 😆
I know all the dots connect but some of the changes like Annie's laugh are suggested by Isayama because he didn't like the way it turned out in the manga, and the scarf is red in the anime because it symbols the "red string of fate" from Japanese culture.

As in the opening(at least to me) can be looked at as his conscious playing games with him; plus an apology to his dead friends. Why is Mikasa so important? Eren makes a vow to her to keep wrapping the scarf around her as much as she wants when he first makes contact with Dina Fritz. He unintentionally made a new vow similar to the one renouncing war which is why he is now trapped in a timeloop, forced to repeat events until Mikasa ends the vow. That's what I think is the cause for all the timelines. Mikasa refuses to forget about Eren like he asks her to do in the cabin timeline, which leads the cabin scene into the manga timeline, and then into the anime.

The first seasons: Eren is the emotional one, full of expression, driven to action but not as strong as her. While she's calm, stoic, hesitant but really strong. In the fourth season: he's the stoic, calm one, with a lot of power, while she's more emotional and more expressive and sentimental. It's really amazing how the balancing works.

Not that I don't wanna believe it, but how could Isayama possibly have inspired himself from Life Is Strange when the game came out in 2015, when the story of Attack on Titan was already pretty advanced? Did he decide to add in butterflies in the anime halfway through? I know at that point only the first season had aired, but that would still mean that that wasn't his original plan. I won't deny that butterflies definitely play a key role in how the ending will pan out, but at which point during the story did he begin to 'inspire' himself from Life Is Strange? Look dude, I have the highest respect for such content and theorycrafting you do, but the language you are using really bothers me. "Now that we have confirmed" is a phrase you use a lot in this 20 mins, but just because there is a butterfly in the anime, does not confirm a multiverse existence. You sound like you are sure of this theory of yours and it actually devalues the content you are trying to put out. Try "suggests" or "implies" rather than harsh confirmation in your sentences. You are not confirming anything until the writer or the studio itself give an explanation about an alternate ending or multiverse's existence. I too believe they might be working on a superior and a more complex ending but don't talk like you are sure of yourself, these are all suggestions, maybe metaphors, maybe easter eggs, you wouldn't know. Other than that, keep up the good work (Y)

I agree with everything except the ring part. Mikasa didn’t react to the ring until after she seen the thing come out, which can basically be summed up to her only knowing she was going to stab herself after seeing it. Otherwise she could’ve pointed the ring out before they even decided to bind her mouth.

I'd prefer a combination of AoE and McE.. I have no angst about the current ending, with Eren dying, in fact I liked it, it felt realistic in some kind of way? like when sasha died, we all know that war works that way, and my boy eren needs some rest bruh. But I realized why some of us felt like it was rushed, because something is missing, "lost episodes" is the term that i use personally, it's like there were scenes that have been pulled out for a reason even when eren brought all their memories back. The ending didn't really gave eren's motivations justice to be honest, he just died. AoE theories have showed that Eren's drive was deeper than wanting a long and happy life for his friends, it showed a different world, advanced and thriving, and i'm hoping to see that. I hope they'd give all the hints they have provided us for the past years justice, both from manga and anime, and show it on the last arc. IT WAS THERE FOR A REASON, i firmly believe that. And If they desire to stick to the manga ending atleast maximize the episodes to show how the AoE ending would be, maybe in a sudden flashback or reversal of events like they did in s3. But its up to the creators, it would take a clever cinematic approach to execute that.

This all makes SO much sense! I remember seeing the butterfly in the opening and wondering what it meant, because I sensed there had to be some kind of significance behind it but didn't know exactly what that was. Another thing I found strange when I first watched the show was how Mikasa reacted so quickly when she saw Annie's ring in that episode, I didn't understand why she reacted defensively immediately after just seeing that ring. But now that you explained this theory I am absolutely mind-blown at why these happened and how they connect.

Honestly ever since I was a child I always loved the Multiverse theory and is kinda glad to be seeing in on the main stream I guess (although semi-salty that if I ever "publish my works of fiction" somehow then already lost the race xD)
But anyways despite me as some sort of semi fan from the series I honestly get both sides of the argument. Although I don't like the ending as much I can see what it needed to tell in one way or another although in a Sense mostly poorly.
And been wondering as well if it's gonna go into a different route or still the same which is if we're looking it at face value its going into the same beats tbh with some changes. Although the crackpot theory really makes sense that in a way its honestly a miss opportunity if they don't.
Cause here's the thing everything has a purpose and like that's a basic rule Ig, and if those scenes were just there to be vague just for the sake of it or "It's Just a dream/imagination" then that would suck. I mean the dream thing could work but it's a disappointing thing in most cases. So honestly there's something big that's gonna happen other than the current events. But hey if it doesn't atleast we can confidently say that our alternate universes self are enjoying that kind of storyline I suppose lelz.

i wonder what the game will be about lol
every time in both 1st and 2nd game we follow a nameless character who somehow knows and is part of major events.
Or you get the story mode of each character
I never quite understood why they cant just make a new character and keep em with his own stuff outside the main plot.
Its literally spiderman people with blades killing titans and humans.
Why not make something original? Make it some kind of journey of a nobody who does progressivelly daring missions and gets more rank in the military.
You can easily make 3 sepparate stories based on which regiment they belong to: Wings, police and nobles.
For the wings you get mostly the same stuff as previous games.
For the police you get to deal with robbers and human enemies.
and for the nobles you get to assign strategy stuf.
You can easily make 3 characters connected to each other indirectly trough their roles.

Here's a theory... mikasa is the hallucigenia and eren is her host 😆 they once said "the ackerman origin is still unknown" and so with the hallucigenia creature that attached to ymir... eren is the personification of ymirs will to be free (and to free the eldians) but he's trapped within mikasa's time loop; dying over and over without fullfilling his goal. At some point eren realizes this. And figures out that to stop the time loop mikasa/the parasite has to die... but then he (the host)will also die for good... so he says that mikasa "must keep him in her mind for 10 years even when he dies" to assure that mikasa will bring him back to the start and give himself more time to achieve his goal of freeing the eldians before killing mikasa and ending the time loop

  • @damper9882
    @damper9882 2 года назад +2

Amazing video on Aoe. I do have to disagree with the prediction of eren being gaurenteed to die. Mikasa creates new timelines to try to escape erens inevitible death in the ova. How would Mikasa be able to create another timeline if the butterfly in the OP is crushed? It represents eren breaking free from new timelines, and eren is in a timeloop from mikasa always creating another timeline after he dies. This means that there are possibly millions of timelines. Who knows for sure though I may be wrong and eren is going to die, or worst case, is that this means nothing in the end. The fact that it had anime original beginning = anime original ending, timeline theory, butterfly and timelines, and sound director talking about possibility of anime original ending all make me say there is a high chance of aoe, but don't get your hopes too up. Most say we will know if AOE happens by the end of final season part 2.
