Thanks for the plugin, Steve. Very interested in using this in black and white to do zone system type adjustments. I looked at Lumenzia - and while this is roughly equivalent, this one appears less complicated. This seems to focus more on pure selection - which is what I'm really after. Testing it this afternoon!
You're welcome, please feel free to let me know how you go and if you have any questions. The "luminosity bar" section isn't strictly the same as the "zone system" but it is powerful. One thing I always strive for is making things as simple as possible - hence why the free version of the plugin is just the absolute core 80/20 of luminosity masking :D
You're welcome! I'll be quite honest - I saw the new adjustment brush a day or two ago... Used it for about 2 minutes before realising it's basically pointless. It actually doesn't add anything that wasn't possible before. When you select the adjustment brush then choose, say, a "Curves" adjustment from the menu, then start brushing into the image to place the adjustment... ALL That is happening is Photoshop adds a Curves adjustment layer to your layers panel, then brushes into its layer mask! You might as well just add the Curves adjustment layer yourself, then brush into its layer mask with a brush to hide/reveal it. That way you can use luminosity selections like in this video and with the plugin. I have heaps of videos from previous years showing how to use adjustment layers and masks like this if you arent familiar with that stuff yet :-) Let me know if you have any other questions Cheers
And also, I thought it was free, just because there is text saying: 'Free Luminosity masking plugin" - but it needs payment. Can you help me out to get more information about this?
Hi Tamazi, Just checking my system now it appears you've received the email(s) and found the link for the free version. There is a paid upgrade if you want to get that, but the free one is as advertised and very useful :-) Let me know if you have any further questions Steve
Hey, I'm not sure to to be honest. I only have the stable version installed and didn't test with the beta. I don't know of a reason why there'd be a difference, especially if other plugins work with beta.
@@SteveArnoldPhoto Hey. I've since installed the current stable build and it's allowed me to install the plugin, so must be an issue with either the current BETA or just the cat it isn't recognised as a full build. Thanks for the plugin!
Hi I have tried to download and the page you sent me to will not down load any free stuff, I have included the discount code but can not get past the payment page, seems to want my Visa or Pay-pal details ???

Thank you for the nice tutorial and link. Could you tell me please if it will be possible to use the plugin even if I update my version of photoshop?
I use Photoshop and a lot and this, really speeds up my workflow. Thank you, Steve !
Awesome, that's great to hear!

Frame in a frame that was new to me thank you 🙏
Steve great tutorial! Thank you for sharing your skills. I will try the plug-in. Thanks again.
Cheers Ricky, enjoy!
Thank you for the plugin. Many ideas where I can use this
You're welcome! Glad to hear it's sparking ideas 💡
Very clever, and generous of you with the plugin. I was lucky to discover Benz's Lumenzia a few years ago, and I remain an avid fan.
Thanks, and you're welcome!
Looking forward to using your plugin. Thankyou.
Cheers Steve, I`m not a big Photoshop user, doing most of my editing in LIghtroom, but I`m going to give this a go, as it looks so easy Thank you
That's great to hear, thanks!
Let me know if you have any questions, or if it leads to you working in Photoshop more than before :-)
Many thanks for the very useful plugin, much appreciated...
You're most welcome! Cheers :D
Thank you so much, Steve. Can't wait to try it out!
Wonderful technique!
Thanks for the simple plugin. I tried to combine it with the new adjustment brush but couldn't get it to work. Could it be connected somehow?
You're welcome!

Thank you Steve. Greetings from Brazil
Thank you Steve for the valuable information. Keep up the good work. Greetings from Switzerland.
Many thanks! I hope one day to visit your beautiful country, but I do hope we win the football this weekend haha :)
@@SteveArnoldPhoto we can't play football if our life depended on it, however we wash money like no one... buahahahah
Great plugin. Thanks very much.
You're welcome, enjoy!
Hi Steve would you say you can get the same result by getting different exposed photos and blending them together?
Great job on the tool. Do you think it will be at all possible for you to make it compatible with Corel Paint Shop Pro?
I'm sorry to say that it's not on the cards for PSP
Great thanks
Hi does this plugin work in Elements 2020 onwords ? thanks
I made it for Photoshop CC, I don't actually know if plugins are compatible with elements but I guess not
Nice thanks you
Thanks from Stellenbosch SA. A wonderful video and great info, also thanks for the valuable free gift. :-)
Is this plugin compatible with Photoshop CS6?
no sorry, it's cc only
Hey Steve, Thanks for this great opportunity

Hey. Does the installed version of PS need to be a stable version? I use the beta version and it appears it cannot be installed with that. Thanks

I think you're clicking the wrong link on that page - theres a blue text link in the first paragraph at the top which will download the plugin.
Am I the only one getting the e-mail confimation request, but never getting the download e-mail? Checked the spam folder too of course.
And I also checked the log on the mail server. The second e-mail is not arriving.
please send me an email at steve@photomasteryclub.com and I'll look into it for you, cheers
Same here, I tried two different email services and never received the second email.
I never received the second mail...
if you got the first one, reply to that and I'll look into it for you :)
Doesn't Work.
