Othal Wallace trial: Opening statements begins for man accused of killing Florida police officer

- Othal Wallace is currently on trial for the 2021 deadly shooting of a Daytona Beach Police Officer Jason Raynor. On June 23, 2021, investigators said Wallace, then 29, shot Raynor in the head. He later died of his injuries. Wallace is facing a first-degree murder charge in Raynor's death. State attorneys have said they intend to seek the death penalty.

The officer got exactly what he deserved for harrassing this man simply because he thought he could get away with it. I am very proud of this young man for defending himself from these police tyrant terrorist and I wish the public would defend themselves from these pigs in uniform more often.

Mr. Wallace's vehicle didn't even match the stolen car so, why did the officer bother him to begin with? Police need to STOP harassing people who aren't suspected of a crime & violate their civil rights! These officers literally instigate & create problems that nobody needs!! It's not okay for any cop to stop you from what you're doing & demand you answer their questions! Unless a cop has reasonable suspicion that you're committing a crime, you do NOT have to identify yourself or talk to them. This is EXACTLY WHY there have been so many people, suing these police departments in Civil Court!!
Please be sure to go to your local police station and give your name, address and phone number and be sure to tell them you will never need them to protect and serve you in any capacity. I’m sure you’ll get a tax refund. They’ll be relieved there’s one less citizen they need to worry about.

The cop had no right to force him to sit down and touch him and verbally keep going on 'Sit down, sit down.' There's nothing to talk about. He wasn't breaking any laws. The cop came to provoke him so the cop could shoot him. The cops planned it all, chose time and place (dark, hoping it would be to their advantage when they shot OW). They tracked him 24/7 probably for weeks leading up to this. They were hoping to execute him and make it looks like he brought it on himself. He turned the tables. OW warned the cop 'Don't do this...' but the cop thought he was invincible. He was wrong.
@@markhirstwood4190 I agree 100% and was literally verbally berated on RUclips Chat during the trial. The cops are getting worse & I can't understand why it's so hard for people to see it. It's on the news every day & it doesn't change. They violate our Civil Rights & we're supposed to just sit back & take it. It's illegal to unlawfully detain a person until you find a reason to arrest them. People are sick of it! They shoot people who are running away or for whatever story that fits their narrative.

This happens in so many cases. It's almost like these outlets are making a conscious effort to suppress the defense attorneys!
I hope people will wait until after the Defense has presented their case before forming their opinions. Many people aren't aware of how invasive, abrubt & demanding police officers are with people, who aren't even suspected of committing a crime but, police insist on treating them like criminals. Civil rights are violated, unlawful arrests are made, unlawful detainment, & police brutality is at it's highest! Police are never disciplined or questioned because their Qualified Immunity protects them! While these innocent people are locked up waiting for their day in court, they're losing their jobs their cars are repossessed, & they're evicted from their homes. I didn't know the extent of how bad this really was until two years ago.
I'm not saying this guy is innocent because the trial literally just started & we haven't heard from the Defense. The State quoted the Defendant post on social media for shock value & to mold the jury. Eeryone probably jumped to their conclusions BUT, we don't why he feels this way about police. He may hold resentment if something bad happened in his past.
The officer was so young so, if he's proven guilty then, he deserves the highest penalty!

@@vm5954 I have always had a big problem with that! They are obviously trying to hide something and they shouldn't even be able to do that! That's definitely not full "transparency" as they love to say in front of the media. They're supposed to have a newer model that doesn't allow officers to turn them off. Shooting and killing a police officer like this makes this guy no better than a “bad cop” out on the street. And the Defund the Police movement has ruined any training these officers get - not to mention gotten rid of all the good police we had.
The 3 officers are hiding something. It has to do with Reynor not involving anyone at this "dangerous place with dangerous people in a dangerous area of the apartment complex." 🙄🤔🙄
@@charlesjohnson154Have you been listening. I am only following testimony of the 3 officers. My area of business by degree is Change Management. I graduated with distinction. Research based. Listen. Listen intently and then listen again to be certain you do not miss anything. And I was sort of there by way of relationship to defendant. Sort of has no bearing on these proceedings. Neither does your "feelings." ONLY knowledge people should be here at this juncture. I can speak to Othal's state of mind at the time. I can do that!!

OTHAL is innocent --REGARDLESS of anything. The video says it all. Follow my commentary. I was with O 3 days before this happened. I know what he was doing out side. Unwinding after putting the babies to bed and trying to figure out what his NEXT positive move was towards helping people. ALSO, he was supposed to call me at 7am. Someone else called and told me to listen to the news. I KNOW Othal Wallace. Great man and humanitarian.

Furthermore if you followed all of the trial and you are familiar with "critical analysis" you know he's innocent "of the charges" PRESENTED in this court.
The cops sent one officer to execute OW in the dark. They knew OW's psychological profile, tracked him 24/7 for weeks, maybe months. They chose not to send 5 or 6 cops because OW might panic and react too soon. Sending just 1 cop... was to try to trick OW into letting his guard down.

Pay attention. Don't expect anything you wish to hear. Only what is stated should be heard. Trials are tricky. Kangaroo Courts are trickier. Waiting to name this one. Not yet apparent although the judge has a grip on realities of trail law.

It amazes me of how so many police officers are arrested weekly in the United States Of America and actually do receive a prison sentence.
Funny thing is I'm willing to bet that the majority of people saying he's guilty are people who have the "Don't tread on me" stickers. Always threatening that if the government comes and violates their 2A rights they'll have to take their guns over their dead bodies and everything else. Well this is the reason you have the rights to bare arms, being necessary to maintain a free society. To protect from tyrannical government... The question is do people have the right to defend themselves against cops who go outside of their granted authority from the citizens, in the name of doing their job.

Hello yes I just got out of Brevard county Florida jail facility and I didn't have access to the public to let them know this! That this man is honestly innocent! His case is directly related to mine! No offense to the deceased but that cops identical twin sister was in my dorm and they trafficked my kid and honestly I'm looking for him he's 14 years old! That cops identical twin sister was in my dorm they're white surpremisist child traffickers I have all the information and details someone tell that man's lawyer asap! His case is directly related to mine and I'm a witness to this shit I finally got free to tell everybody! It needs to be overturned immediately! That man was helping my son!! Help! He's innocent!!
