Dragons Dogma 2 PS5 Review ruclips.net/video/QZDhkS4h2EE/видео.html
I was one of the ones who pre ordered this alongside Dragons Dogma 2. Loved both games. Rise of the Ronin is a fantastic game with fun and engaging combat, a beautiful open world and just fun. I know it had haters but meh there was more love for the game.😊
ive just got Dogma 2, wow.....its a biggie !
No, I'd rather play all my games on performance modes when possible, imo framerate is so much more important than resolution, as long as the resolution is a minimum of 1080p then that's all I care about, I personally didn't buy a PS5 for fancy graphics or 4K resolution, 4K is fantastic when it's coupled with decent performance at 60fps but I refuse to sacrifice a decent framerate in order to get a few more pixels, I bought my PS5 so I could better performance which in 90% of games is absolutely the case now, that and the lightning quick loading times, haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, pixels and graphics were the last two things on my mind when I got my PS5 over 2 1/2 years ago
1080 on a 4k TV, can look horrendous, sometimes, Play a game like Horizon Forbidden west at 1080 and it is not good, I agree on the frame thing, the PS5 box has an 8k logo on it I seem to remember !
You may enjoy the new top open worlds games list, Ronin, did very well ruclips.net/video/5Mk-C5AmRLs/видео.html
@CouchCoop128 I dunno, maybe it's my 4k monitor, but 1080p looks fine on it, horizon forbidden west looks fine in the 1080p performance mode, not blurry at all, Sony calls it the "Playstation TV" but it's basically just a giant monitor and 1080p looks fine, it's when resolutions drop below 1080p is where it starts to get blurry, almost all my PS4 games run in 1080p and I haven't noticed any blur, maybe it's worse on actual 4k televisions
@@mathewhosier9739 i have a cheap Samsung, so this makes sense ! 🤣
ROTR is the most underrated and overhated game of all time. This magnificent game is in dire need of justice
its greatness will be recognised...I think a lot of Western gamers didn't spot it, its unbeaten in the open world samurai genre, unbeaten. It made my open world list ruclips.net/video/5Mk-C5AmRLs/видео.html
love this game so far
awesome, you got the flame thrower yet!
I've Platinum this game, mission structure is generic and could have been shorter but enjoyed the gameplay, music and story 8/10 for me.
I thought the game was a bit too short for my liking but I also play a lot of long games like monster hunter and a lot of JRPGs
I actually thoroughly enjoyed, but I think I was saved by my VRR display. Dips up and down make me pretty nauseous. Really wish they'd fix it so everyone can enjoy
im looking at the VRR stuff on Spider man 2, alot less frame drops in that though, patches needed for this !
Despite the graphics and performance hiccups it’s a fun open world game.
agreement ! This is the final open world list ruclips.net/video/5Mk-C5AmRLs/видео.html
Love the game, I pre-ordered it and got platinum as soon as I finished it last week. I enjoy the morality that it puts you through and love the customization even more! Best confrontation customized with me against an ex best friend with both the sentiment and the frustration.
thats impressive, is there a clock work horse ? or did i dream that
@@CouchCoop128 no clockwork horse unfortunately, only black, white, and brown. That would’ve been a nice reward later down the line. You do get a nice white horse and saddle for completing the archery challenges and I think one other.
@@Wizman347 i got that white horse, loved that rustler mission! i know where i saw it now, its on that 'games you play news tab' on the ps5 OS, it looks like a 'puppet horse'!
Koei tecmo is purely a publisher, they don't actually develop any games themselves, they do have a few 1st party studios like team ninja, Gust Studios and Omega Force Studios, who all work out of the same building at the Koei Tecmo headquarters in Tokyo, Japan, team ninja is responsible for the Ninja Gaiden series, the Dead or Alive series, the Nioh series, Stranger of Paradise, Wo Long and Rise of the Ronin, Gust is mainly responsible for the Atelier series and the 2020 Fairy Tail JRPG and Omega Force is mainly responsible for the Musuo or Warriors series like Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors and all the Warriors spin offs and other Warriors games like Hyrule Warriors, One Piece Pirate Warriors, Fire Emblem Warriors, Dragon Quest Heroes and Persona 5 Strikers and many other "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" games
Thanks for all the great comments on this video Mathew ! 🙏
Great looking game, even with the graphic hiccups. I like Ghosts by playing on lethal difficulty and Kurosawa mode, where one or two strikes can kill you or your opponent, makes fights more tense.
Only thing I don't like of Ghosts is the rock/paper/scissors combat.
This game looks more arcad-y? Or am i wrong? Combat does look super flashy.
the parry system is very 'reaction based' forcing you really focus, that cameras also very dramatic, arcade-ie ...more 'action-ie'
Good Video Coop.
I got this Game (not Played it yet) on the back of how much I really enjoyed Ghost of Tsushima but Nioh is a Game like very much, so if similar too either of those Games than I'll be happy Playing it.
Ghost had the different Stances for different Enemies but I mainly stand in the Stance i preferred throughout the Game, what is the Combat like in Ronin Overall.
its like nioh 1 tbf, with less fiddle on stance change, it feels more natural and MORE weapons !
@@CouchCoop128 OK brill I should enjoy it whenever I get too Playing it 👌.
a free Ronin demo just dropped btw
@CouchCoop128 hey awesome I'll have too check it out, thanks man 👍.
Oh on a side note, I Finished Playing Through Still Wakes the Deep on the Series S with Game Pass and I absolutely loved it 👌.
@@johnodaz1273 it was ok on performance on the S? I've stopped right before the end (hr 5) I want to finish it at the end of the year, i want it mentioned in my GOTY list....VERY GOOD GAME
A bit new here. So you also do single-player sometimes?
correct, on my videos page, my 2nd most popular video of all time with 740'000 views is a Single player video list. its becoming clear my channel name is confusing people, as local co-op content is also my thing
*765k 🤣 had to check
@@CouchCoop128 Cool. Well I found you because my partner and I were looking into Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.
I hope you'll continue the couch co-op content because we're always looking for things to play together.
Tonnes of single player stuff here man. You've found a gold mine
@@thefluffyone999ahighly recommend puyo puyo tetris to play with the wife. Great fun. Also children of Morta.
Has the framerate gotten better or does it still constantly stutter?
no major patch as of yet, im keeping a very close eye on it
Your starting to sell me on finally getting this game…. I’m a Nioh 2 hardcore purist, but I might bite the bullet.
check out this souls like list, i cant help but keep mentioning Rise, honestly during the Nioh 2 section, it something else, could be an actual samurai open world souls like, with that vendetta system, there's a ronin demo also, report back please ruclips.net/video/QyzgrnOq0jc/видео.html
Is this a souls like? I've never even heard of the game.
there's restart points near hard spots, but you do loose earned XP, I got quite a bit of back lash mentioning the 'S like' word in the Stella blade video, so i kept it quiet, nice to hear from you mate, FIRST COMMENT ALSO !
@@CouchCoop128 yeah I've been a bit isolated recently. Health issues. But I have been lurking and watching with a like. But pain killers have made me a bit loopy. I quite like the look of the game. 👌
@@steve323f jezzz, okay mate, i hope you feel better,
I am currently about half way through and its not really a Souls like, some of the bosses can be tricky at higher difficultys, but if you do the side missions you do level up fast and get good items, you will be too OP, combat is a lot of fun
Besides the corpse run and bonfire system, it is pretty far removed from a souls like. It is also much MUCH easier than most souls-likes.
I was really hoping for this game to break away from the Nioh and Wo Long loot systems, I absolutely hate them.
that loot system is half the draw for me, love the variety and designs, Sekiro has no loot, that might be worth a look
Yeah, I'm not a fan of the random roll loot mechanic in any single player game really. Feels too much like I'm at the behest of the devs rather than making my own way through the game.
@prawnyb
It makes exploration feel pointless. This type of loot system in an open world game was a bad idea.
@@originalityisdead.9513 exactly. Like the only way to get stuff is to play for hours and hours. No point exploring, just kill more stiff for a longer time.
Saying that, I think it works really well with remnant 2....that's a lot of fun
I'm still waiting for team ninja to make a new Ninja Gaiden, that's the only way they'll get rid of the gear system.
I noticed there is some ass sniffing included in this game, for whatever reason. As someone who absolutely can not stand ass-sniffing in any RPG, especially action ones, is it optional in this game or do you have to bring braindead AI to sniff you throughout the game?
you can switch to the brain dead AI now, its great, no ass sniffery here, i wont have slanged it off for the opening 2mins if so, appreciate you swinign by
Having to do missions with AI breaks the immersion and turns combat encounters into a right mess.
being able to control them directly helps, but yeah wo-long, they were a nightmare
@@CouchCoop128 Yeah but the problem I have it is that this seems to be an actual trend where almost every single single player game nowadays has to have some form of pseudo party system. Like we are all pussies that are scared to play alone or something. Why does anyone need an AI to follow them around, it makes zero sense to me. And the guy above mentioned immersion, which is also one of the aspects it vastly impacts negatively. It's so stupid. Especially in a samurai game where you're supposed to be a "lone wolf" adventurer phenotype.
im now uploading the dragons Dogma 2 review 😍 id be keen on your feedback
