- What's up y'all? Back with more Dragon's Dogma 2 today, and I'm honestly just continuing to progress the game while yapping. We covered all sorts of topics today: our upcoming 2 year celebration, the lack of news since the update (some people seemed to think we'd be getting news soon for whatever reason), scented candles... you know how it is around here! We also made some more yogurt with our friends the ogres, and finally got to the ancient battleground again.
Next time I'll try to get into something a little more involved, I pwomise.

Anyway, Wanted to say congrats on the two year. I've been in this games fandom since 2012 and your channel since DD2 launch. It's great watching your gameplay and hearing your commentary. Honestly, you're my comfort channel right now. So many big YTers are focusing on drama and controversy. This is just a long winded way of thanking you for the vids. I really appreciate you for this comment :) I’m always glad I can be someone’s comfort channel, and it’s actually the goal more than anything. When I started the channel I wanted to be a fun place where people can come and not worry about their favroite game getting ripped on, drama and all of that. Life is too chaotic as it is. I’d much prefer if we can just all spend ten minutes of a day together and appreciate some peace and laughs in that time. If it’s doing that for you and others, I can’t really ask for much more. Some say I’m still chasing Fredrick around to this day trying to get him to be interested in the goat.
The funniest part is you can clearly see it’s MY pawn that actually kills the goat with a reckless swing 🥹 while I’m carrying him no less.
The yells are still ringing in my ears. I haven't been able to unhear them.

As a person with a bunch of them, scented candles aren't supposed to give you a bloody nose and make your nose itch.

I'm going to have to get some different scents, because I won't lie, as much as the bloody nose sucked spending 3 hours in my office working on content was so chill with the smell of a candle keeping me going lmao

Are there “levels” for certain areas? My party is around mid-late level 20s and I wandered into the misty area and I’m having a hard time. Both my character and main pawn feel weaker than we should be?
Also the scented candle issue might be because the scent might be irritating your nostrils and causing the bleeding. Had a similar problem before 😅
Not really. as long as your equipment is upgraded a little and you're using holy or fire in that area you should be fine
There’s not so much “levels” to areas as there are harder enemies in particular areas that might give you some trouble. Check to see how far upgraded your armor is, usually when I hit a roadblock like that a round of armor upgrades and some new weaponry usually got me through!
I guess that’s a roundabout way of saying some areas are harder than others due to enemies being more difficult types, but generally speaking they don’t have “levels” the same way you’d be thinking. Though Bahttal is a spike in difficulty from Vermund for sure.

@@mashietrash Most of my equipment should have an upgrade or two since I had just changed vocations before exploring around, went into a cave that had some big enemy in it that shitstomped my whole party. I couldn’t see what was happening 😂
"A lot of random things" sounds like a good plan. I haven't watched a lot of the pre-DD2 videos yet so Anniversary Month should have some surprises.
Honestly, a lot of the stuff prior to my Dark Arisen playthrough is super rough around the edges 😂 but everything you see during October will be a game that has appeared on the channel before, and I’m sure some of them from the Directionless Era will be surprising LMAO
