There's some wrong info here: - The part about Bolide is wrong. You don't hear the meteors outside. They literally just clip through everything and can even hit enemies in caves. They removed that because it made no sense. - The brine absolutely does eat other players pawns in DD1. I think the water in your clip was just shallow enough that the bigger rented pawn could walk out, while your smaller Pawn couldn't. Also no clue why you would do a "comparison" of fighting a drake and then just use Martyr's Bolt to instakill the DD2 Drake...
@@douriner0129Easy? Bro they aren't even the same enemy. I remember dd1 Drakes would run the fade like his life depended on it. This DD2 Version is more like a Wyrm on holiday. He cares but just not enough to do anything about it.
they forgot how camera work really elevated the action in the first game. it seems like they tried in the 2nd game but whoever they had working on it didn't really understand how. A good example of this is when u cast high seism. In the first game the camera pans in front of your character showing how cool they look performing the spell then pans back close behind them showing how powerful it is then zooms out to show the destructive scale. In DD2 it does a jarring cut in front of your character and then it pans back to a boring angle behind you for the rest of the spell
@demonintellect9834 ??? What control you literally have to wait till your character is done the animation unless you get hit out of it, have u played the game lol

beat all 3. Dark Arisen is the best. 2 has better graffics. smoother climbing (sometimes), but still isnt finished. the story doesn't make sense. for example: when you get the godsbane. you have to empower it. so you give it to an enemy agent, who ( I think) is gathering enough shards ov dead Arisens to create a godsbane powerful enough to create a psudodragon that will be powerful enough to fight the real dragon. the quest then tells you to deliver the sword to Phasus(Spelling?)... another enemy ov the country you rule, the one actually leading the ritual to summon the dragon. game says to give the sword to him.. and yet he attacks us? I'm soooo lost. my first playthrough was a tall skinny ginger elf girl (before I knew elves where in the game). apparently the whole town confused me with the blonde guy with the half goatee.... not sure how that's possible. you play a fat ass orange tabby cat. false Arisen looks less like you and the world cant see the difference. there are more monster varieties in the first one then 2 (where is my hydra? my eyetyrants?). you got way too powerful way too quick. fall damage is cheep. first one was about climbing and exploiting weakness. elemental meant more. 2nd one is dumbed down and 'aim for the tail ov the rock lizard people' and nothing else matters. cats and skimpy outfits and three separate tit sliders to keep prepubecents happy. pawns knock you off ov ledges in 2. (see fall damage is cheep), you are forced to romance two characters and then do nothing with that plot line. you can pay to have sex endlessly... glad they added that. game needs balancing (example:) mystic archer is so powerful yo don't need any skills. basic (not pinpoint volly) on the dragon and all secret bosses... 5 shots total. shield for twinspear class is instant cast and last longer. the mage shield spell is worthless when compared and cost more mana. uninstalled the game. got all 3 endings on 3 different playthroughs. will download and play again when he finishes it and/or someone else makes darkarisen 2. had a blast. game play 10/10 visuals: beautiful plot 2/10 quest 1/10 the irony that he got to make a second one because they rusehd the first one and it was 'unfinished' and then you play the second one and its clearly unfinished as well.
lots of questionable choices and decisions from the devs in dd2 that doesn't make any sense and i really hate it like shitty camera, jankier combat/climbing, no dodge roll, useless riftstones outside of the capita instead of portcrystals. dd2 is good but dd1 is just a little bit better
More than a little. Ai doesn't need a high five every 3 minutes, (high average time for getting into another fight), they fall less, has less fall DMG, less dumb looking falling, no cliffhangers when you want to go down, can actually climb things, Has "The Chair talk" that Can change pawns inclinations follow distances and how much or little they talk.... Without paying unnecessary RC, Better vocations, more skills, better story, Better forgeries ....even better than the Sphinx which you can only get 1 port crystal from the rest will be Part Crystals. The pawns don't combine everything you pickup, and actually actively pickup loot and mine and scavenge without the need for you to stop wait 30 seconds and maby they'll do something. They open chests better and use what you give them effectively, DD1 has more crafting mats, more combinations of materials and equippable materials like phials, flasks and bombs. DD1 has way better camera features in tight spaces and gives wayy better FOV. Like they didn't even try in DD2 especially with how narrow the landscape is and how much you would be going into caves and delving into the depths. D1 has a better ending, no Stupid 220/ 240seekers coins for an exp ring reward.... DD1 they're just amulets you buy, find, combine to make. Fournaval has em, plus that idol that gives 20% discount at shops without the lolly gagging at shopkeeps. Hurting people (even bumping into them while running), drawing weapons in a city, throwing things around, picking people up, playing catch the random pawn with your pawns will upset people who it involves.... Tossing the pawn is something the guards don't like, especially if you miss. DD1 is simply more fun and enjoyable and somehow has more of the better features that should have been in the Second game. Oh and lest we forget Hard mode and Bitterblack isles. + the ∞ level at 200. Yeah, you fight the literal embodiment of death. And a slew of new creatures. Which are all tough.
I dunno man I strongly disagree with you there, I have around 150 hours on ddda and 130 on dd2 the combat is dd2 feels more buttery smooth and it feels more polish I would say and it takes a lot of skill to master ofc its the nature of dragons dogma... Ddda I feel like the combat is really really snappy and stiff imo... Jankier camera? Nah the camera is fine... And dode roll? Come on the first game doesnt even have a dodge roll, the only class that has a dodge roll is assassins, strider, archer. The point of dragons dogma not having a dodge roll is simple each class has their own way to dodge or block an attack... So it makes each class feel unique and different

That Drake comparison where the 1st games one was a literal tank, but beatable at even lower levels (I used them to dragonforge gear regularly) to the second game where they're unkillable unless you have really good gear or an ultimate that can one shot them.
@@TaneJiaChannel The dragons in 2 look better. I feel like they’re one of the best looking dragons I’ve seen in video games. That, and they’re easier to fight in 2. But they’re harder to kill because of the spell attacks and health bar so you’re probably not going to kill them until later. The dragons in 1 are way faster and more challenging to fight in my opinion. So you’re also not going to kill them until later.
I think the combat and world traversing are very fun. The way every fight works super well with any vocations is great. But the NPCs interactions, lack of stealth mechanic and coherent police/prison system, and lack of real consequences for any of your choices on the story truly is underwhelming. The first game almost did it better, and it was a rushed game.

It should be Dragon's Dogma 2 VS. Dark Arisen. Different producer and director; not forgetting Bitterblack Isle gathered the followers.
The stretched textures are starting to bug me
