They wanna said it’s because of his seeding and “not winning games” when the Hawks are the 10th seed in the East and Steph Curry is the 12th seed in the west. Steph Curry is an Allstar starter every year no matter how bad the Warriors is I don’t get it
Traes best statistical season 21-22 but he was basically a one man show. Trae is noticeably better this year, smarter shot selection, better assist/turnover ratio, better defensive effort, and overall better leadership and maturity.
I’ve always felt that if trae was even 6’3, he’d get his respect. It’s a shame, he’s so crafty. His biggest flaw is his defense, which for his height/role isn’t even that horrible
Listen we know these Hawks teams can put up points on anybody so scoring typically isn't the issue. What maddening about this Hawks team is their refusal to do an offense style which will yield better results consistently. We watch the Hawks dismantle the Lakers and other teams to start the season by allowing Murray to run The Point and use Trae more off-ball. It's not hard to see what it does to a defense. Everyone knows the gravitational pull Trae has on a Defense. Against the Lakers, you saw it on full display. And it allowed Murray free access to the lane anytime he wanted. Which got him into an Offensive grove. It freed up all kinds of open shots for everyone. Which got them into an Offensive grove also. FG % would be through the roof, assist would be way up. And the advantage it gives Trae is crazy. He's then only facing weakside close-out defense instead of top of the key Load-up defense. Less double teams. Two-way goes, catch and shoot passes. And he is still able to short-action pick and roll/give and go. This is all off receiving a skip pass and exploiting a rotating defense instead of a loaded-up defense. So yea. I don't get it. It's not an offensive issue cause Trae still has his pts and ASST number if not more in that role.
The Hawks worst 3 man lineup in Netrtg is DJM/Clint/JJ at -10.5. Most of the 1 PG lineups are between positive and very positive in terms of net. Clint and DJM appear to be the two negatives on the team when looking at lineup stats. If one or both get moved don't be shocked if the Hawks are suddenly a winning team after the deadline. They don't even have to "upgrade". There's a very real chance of addition by subtraction.
I believe Young is better, but I can see why they say that. White is good on both sides and can score from all levels, too. His playmaking is also a big part of Boston's success.
If Lakers can grab him, acquire a big man that can defend the paint, while keeping perimeter defenders vando and reddish. I got Lakers winning it all. Of course health is a huge factor but a big 3 of Bron, AD, and Trae would be lethal imo but they have to have defenders around Trae at all times.
Trae will only come if he requests a trade. Lakers will prolly be the only team that interested in the market and if Trae wants to win, he could force his way here (still unlikely). That being said i believe a starting 5 of Trae/Max/Vando/Bron/AD with CP3, Bitadze, Wood, Prince off the bench would be a pretty dangerous squad.
I'd say it means he made him rotate his torso, so he's not defending going backwards but forward instead, making him go faster, therefore he can't stop as easily when he stepbacks
Way this channel breaks down ball is beautiful 😢
It’s cinema and truly appreciated
how is bro not an all star
Him not making the all star team is fucking ridiculous 😂 no cap

Not a lot of ppl voting for him Sadly
@@legoatjames9539 in fan voting, hes 2nd in backourt
@legoatjames9539 It's the coaches who snubbed him.

Media and players had him out of All-star because they didn't think him deserved it. These factorees are brutal and jealous.
who do you take out?

His passing ability is his best attribute
Nah his shooting that opens up his whole game but pass is second
@@littleboy4027 When his shot is falling, I agree. He’s been really inconsistent with his 3 ball and he takes a lot of ill advised shots at times.
Modern day Nate archibald

but they say derrick white is better😹
U sure they aren’t trolling?
Nobody on earth believes that

That's absolute blasphemy lmao
@@marcscott6395it’s really not when you thinking basketball
All star is a popularity contest lmao most fans are casual just watch who ever espn tells them 2 real one kno Trae been killin since day one
The fans voted Trae in, that’s the problem. 2nd most among guards in the East. Players, media and coaches froze him out.

What other players get consistently picked up at half?
steph, dame and kyrie irving sometimes
What does he mean by ‘ opening up the hips’? 1:44

Yes it might be his best version. Still won't make it past 1st round at his best 🤷♂️
His best year was 2021
The coaches and players are not high on him, and I trust them more than the fans.
